"Let's set it till 2000, we might over shoot the front about but we should be guaranteed a hit then." The spotter for one of the 15 mortar crews says.

"Right a night attack seems next." Itami says in the mess hall.
"Take your hat off." Kyra says as she sits down across from Itami next to Harriet.
"Hi mom!" Harriet says
"Hi Kyra when did you get here?" Itami says
Kyra takes of Itami's hat and throws it on the table.
"It's disrespectful to wear a hat in the messhall." Kyra says
"I stopped by with the bent wing birds that I'm delivering." Kyra says as she eats some of the food she got.
"The pilots will love that." Itami says
"Tell me about it. No civilians planes to worry about." Kyra says
"The food here isn't bad." Kyra mutters as a lot of
"Can I ask why it is not okay to wear a hat in the mess hall?" Itami asks
Kyra looks up glaring a little at Itami before she remembers she needs to spread that custom to Niwaki aswell.
"It stems from WW1 and WW2 well really before modern wars." Kyra says as she takes another bite of the amazing Japanese food.
"It's because whenever there was a large battle the medical tent would be over filled and spill over into the mess hall. The mess hall is where fellow... a lot of those fellow soldiers died. We don't wear hats because it is a sign of respect for the dead and wounded." Kyra says as she finishes her food.
"Right well I have to get back..." Kyra says as she hugs Harriet.
"Have fun okay, I wish I was here with you exploring new worlds is so much fun." Kyra says as she takes her tray and drops it off in the dish pit before leaving.
"Your mother is awesome." Huston says
"Her steps were silent. I don't think anyone else really noticed her enter." Itami says as everyone else sitting in the mess hall realize she just kinda appeared from nowhere.
"People have a lot of blind spots." Luna says with a smile.
"That they do." Itami says with a smile. As a handful of special forces in the messhall realize how powerful the ambassador of the land beyond the mirror is.
"I wonder if they are gonna give the F4Us a go tonight." Itami says
"Maybe but I'm sure the fuel for them may be a bit limited unless it can absorb the energy from the air in this world and produce more." Luna says realizing it might be like dust usually is. As long as there is enough it can absorb magic like energy from the air to produce more.
"Probably not." Harriet says
"Yeah not likely." Luna says also trying to feel the small amount of magical energy in the air.
Suddenly the door bursts open.
"There are animal girls out there!" A Japanese soldier shouts as Itami gets up and runs out with a hand full of other soldiers.
"I guess Niwaki sent some of its air force." Harriet says
A few other curious soldiers leave aswell.
A first Lieutenant walks up to Harriet.
"Um, the Major wanted you in the officer dining area.." He says stuttering a little since he has seen the movie of Atlas vs Niwaki.
