An alarm is blaring.
"Weiss turn it off." Ruby mutters.
The large master bed more empty than normal.
"Right sorry partner, enjoy sleeping in a bit." Weiss says putting the remaining blankets over Ruby.
'Kyra, Yang, Blake, Hana, Osaka… that's why the bed is emptier than normal.' Weiss thinks
Osaka and Blake are off helping Reach and Harvest. While Yang is the ambassador to earth.
Hana and Kyra are off in another world so Hana can get stronger.
Weiss heads down stairs hearing giggling.
"Hey girls!" Weiss says seeing her children.
"Momma Weiss! Look!" Ellis says
Weiss looks at the drawing
"Yes dear it's amazing." Weiss says
"Momma Kyra left us breakfast again. How long till she's back?" Willa asks
"You know, she's been really busy." Fei says
"She has, speaking of which don't you have to get to work mom?" Autumn asks
"I've got a few minutes spend with you all." Weiss says hugging Lapis.

Eventually Weiss ends up in front of the Niwaki air and weapons research center.
Walking into the building the large lobby has a T-60 titanium plated power armor in the center holding the nations flag in one hand and an M-14 in the other.
"Director Weiss!" A woman at the front desk shouts.
"Hello Sarah." Weiss says
"Director we've made progress on the crystal liquid."
"Really? Although I love the designs Kyra gave us, we need to keep in mind the human limit. Although with Aura that limit is significantly higher than it is thought in the designs." Weiss says
Weiss is being led around by a man in a lab coat.
"We can't fully hope to understand the human body at this point, we have the monster hunter world where humans eat those beasts and the effect of fairly obvious. We also have the wizards and witches that moved here. And our own kind with aura. We do have a few hunters pushing the boundaries to see how strong one can become, however I don't think their results will be the same for everyone." The researcher says
"The least we can do is improve the tech and designs that Kyra gave us." Weiss says
"I mean our T-60s are already obsolete. Same with the M-14 though we will likely see civilians be using it for a while longer. The F-23 and F-22 designs are also obsolete aswell, several of our space based fighters are hypersonic capable in atmosphere." The researcher says
"Yes however given our resources and other technologies. Kyra likely wants us to achieve more without her." Weiss says
"You say that like she."
"She did, she's likely been sitting on these designs for years until she deemed the world ready." Weiss says
"Yes, however the Nova bomb design is scary." The researcher says
"Director Weiss you've got a lecture later this week at Koa." Sarah says
"Right, thanks for reminding me Sarah, I should probably talk about the orbital defense platforms. After all we live in a time of great change." Weiss says
"Ah yes, we've designed a smaller coil gun." The researcher says
"although it's nice, it's not as reliable as dust or gunpowder rounds." Weiss says
"Projects in the magic lab?" Weiss asks toward Sarah.
"Making great progress ever since that weird cat Fanus appeared with her library." Sarah says
"That's good." Weiss says
"I've got to go see reports and maybe stop by the testing lab." Weiss says
