"Ohh, that's good. So are you thinking of moving with us?" Michelle cheerily asks with a sparkling eyes trying to poach Callista to go home with them.
While Tyler on the side just held his head with a tinge of helplessness while his father Wendelle just smile looking at this joyful scene.
Callista just chuckled and smile.
"It's okay Auntie. I'm fine now and I already move out with someone reliable. So you don't have to worry about me"
"Ohh, I see. Then if you have troubles just come to us okay? Or just visit us anytime. " Callista nod her head and Michelle sigh with a relief and pat her head with a smile on her face.
"Mom and Dad, you should go now. Callista will be discharge now, I'll be home later at evening" Tyler said and started pushing them out of the room.
"Alright you brat! No need to push us out. Cally will be going now, take care of your health and remember to visit us!" Michelle said before leaving with her husband.
Callista just wave them goodbye and eyed her brother who looks so stress now.
"Finally, well your stable now and don't go out stressing yourself." Tyler said reminding her once more, while she could only sigh.
Later on, Ashton came back and took her home. On the way back inside the car, Callista couldn't count how many times she look at him.
Did something happen while she was in the hospital? But it was only two days that she stayed.
He was just sitting their in daze, looking out the window like the whole world fell upon his shoulders. She couldn't understand why he is acting very strange today.
When they got out of the hospital, he just barely talk to her then proceed to listen in her brother's reminder.
Until they got back to the mansion and still hasn't spoken a word to her aside from the driver.
"Why are you being quiet today? Did something happen?" Callista couldn't contain his quiet attitude and speak first while she grab his hand before he could go back to his study room.
"I'm usually quiet and nothing happened. Everything is fine" Ashton blankly said then Callista slowly let go of his hand.
"We promised each other that if something happen that could cause a misunderstanding between us, I thought we should talk it out and solve it. It looks like, that it was just a shallow promise to you" Callista said and her eyes started brimming with tears.
She is truly hurt from the way he is acting now. It's like he doesn't trust her at all, it seems that their relationship is just a title with no deeper meaning.
Ashton felt bad the way he acted towards her and his heart hurt and constricted the moment she let go and the tears that is about to fall from her blue pair of eyes.
Before Callista could walk away, Ashton pulled her in his embrace and hug her tightly like in any minute she would disappear from her sight.
"I'm so sorry for letting you feel that way, I'm just afraid that you'll be gone from me" Ashton said and sink his head on her shoulders.
Callista can sense the fear and his slightly trembling while she just smile and hug him back.
"Why would I disappear? I'm not leaving you no matter what happens. Instead of being away from me, you should hold on to me tightly to make sure I won't be gone" Callista said while he deeply sigh hearing those words from her.
