“I’ve checked with our prime minister and he unhesitatingly agrees!”

“Our king says that as long as you could save our kingdom, by all means!”

“““Our king has permitted it as well!”””

After I gave a detailed explanation to the envoys, they quickly requested and received permission from their countries. It might just be due to the desperate situation they were in, but I didn’t think they would give their approval on my suggestion so easily…

This villager registration was absolutely going to be a temporary one, by the way. I had also told them that I have every intention of canceling the registration once we had resolved the problem.

Nevertheless, as soon as I registered someone as a villager, I could use my Villager Appraisal skill on them. That meant, I could easily obtain highly personal information. And a foreigner gaining access to such information of a country’s citizens was naturally a dangerous thing. Needless to be said, I had no intention of abusing this access.

“Fufufu, you don’t have to worry, Luke-sama.”

“…what makes you so sure?”

“*(Because the envoys are already your submissive, devout believers, Luke-sama. They wouldn’t have said anything more than necessary to their nations’ kings.)*”

Uhh, I’m getting nothing but a bad feeling from Millia’s smile…

At any rate, even though it was temporary, the number of villagers I had skyrocketed.

I originally had 2.5 million registered villagers. Making up two million of that number was the citizens of Celtia Kingdom. The next 400,000 or so came from the nation of Kyou. And the rest were people from here and there.

But the Loda Kingdom was now adding approximately 3 million villagers, the Gobaldo Republic about 1.5 million villagers, the Ateri Kingdom about 500,000 villagers, the Spel Kingdom about 400,000 villagers, the Metore Kingdom about 600,000 villagers, and the other smaller nations added a total of about 500,000 villagers.

Unsurprisingly, the total number of villagers registered now surpassed the next level’s threshold of 3 million villagers.

<< Ta-ta-ta-dah! Congratulations! Because you now have more than 3 million villagers, your village has become level 13!>>

<<30 million village points have been acquired as level up bonus.>>

<<You can now build more kinds of facilities.>>

<<Maximum village area has been increased.>>

<<The village skill [Enhanced Map] has been acquired.>>

“Enhanced Map…?”

The Map skill itself was among the first village skills I was able to use, and now, I was supposedly getting a better version of it.

When I tried it out, I quickly found out that was indeed the case and more.

For example, in addition to displaying the location of the facilities, the previous version also displayed black dots to represent villagers on a map. However, there was no way of telling who was which black dot solely through the map.

In the Enhanced Map though, placing the cursor over a dot would show the name of the person it was representing. A search function through villagers’ names was also added, making finding specific registered villagers a simple matter. And if that wasn’t enough, I was also able to use the Villager Appraisal skill from the map interface.

“Which makes it all the more easier to get all the information about foreign nations I might want…”

The best part of it though was probably the function called Village View. To put it simply, it allowed me to see a real-time footage of any area I wanted, granted it was registered as part of the village of course.

“…won’t this let me peep with ease…yeah, I shouldn’t tell anyone about this…”

Obviously, I had no intention of peeping at anybody, but I would have no way of defending myself in case I was suspected of doing so.

Anyway…I was able to use a few of my village skills even with the previous version of the Map skill before, but with the use of Village View, it seemed like I could use 3D Reposition and Facility Customization with ease and great accuracy even on faraway locations.

“I wanna test it out. Let’s see…that red dot is likely part of the imperial army, so…”

When I zoomed out the map interface, I noticed that innumerable red dots were trying to get into different areas of the registered village. By the respective rulers giving me authorization, their nations were also registered to the total territory that was considered my village.

“Alright, time to try Village View…ah, it’s really their army!”

I was able to watch the said army as they marched.

Among them was a Giant Soldier. Perhaps to conserve its energy, the Giant Soldier wasn’t traveling on its own means and was instead being pulled by horses as it rested on top of a gigantic cart.

I checked to see where the army was headed and concluded that it was likely a medium sized city. The city had walls around it, but those looked old. It would be easy for a Giant Soldier to knock those walls down.

“Ok, I’ll use Facility Upgrade to make it like our walls.”

I saw in the screen as the walls changed to become splendid. The soldiers which were in the midst of preparing to go against the approaching enemy army were stunned at the sight of it all.

“This Enhanced Map is quite convenient, isn’t it…”
