Chapter 65: Insisting on One’s Desire

Luo Yu could not understand why this had happened. They were obviously in a father-daughter relationship, how could they do what a couple do? It was ridiculous. If it weren’t for the hot sensation on his lips that reminded him that this was not a dream, he would have thought it was his own hallucination.

“So what if you are my father, as long as it’s something that I want, just this little thing is no excuse.”

“What nonsense are you saying, how is this okay, this is clearly impossible!” Such a situation really made Luo Yu feel shocked. He had even grown a little incoherent in his speech, and he was full of thoughts on whether this was okay or not……

“There is nothing wrong, you need to calm down. I will give you time to adapt and adjust. She knew that some things could not be changed over time, but nothing was for certain. She never regretted her own actions and she naturally knew when to persist. For Luo Yu, she was being relatively patient for the time being. As for her feelings for Luo Yu, after thinking about it carefully, she did not categorize her feelings as love, but rather the desire to possess at first sight. She wanted this person to belong to herself only, this was true regarding any form.

She did not understand love, but even if she had love for him, even if she had Anhui and the so-called harem of three thousand as well as this Luo Yu who made her extremely possessive, she did not think that she felt a love between them. But what was certain was that she had feelings for them, whether it was pity, impulsiveness and tenderness. There were a variety of different emotions she was feeling, but she was also slowly experiencing this.

Qianhe Liyou left, leaving Luo Yu in a standstill, his expression complicated and contorted…

“No one is allowed to say anything about today, otherwise…..” Luo Yu said this to the attendant beside him, and while he didn’t elaborate, the threat of looming death was enough.

The shock on the faces of the attendants had not yet faded and they all nodded in a panic. There were so many secrets in this palace and in many cases, not knowing was better than knowing. There were too many people who disappeared because of such secrets. Intelligent people should know just what type of things need to be forgotten.

Qianhe Liyou and the others returned to the Imperial Study. According to routine, Fengying and the others should wait outside, but Fengying hesitantly sent the other attendants away and stayed behind.

Qianhe Liyou watched Fengying and waited for her to speak and then saw Fengying knelt down abruptly and said in a heavy voice: “Empress, only dead people will not speak nonsense. As for these attendants, should this servant deal with them?” Today’s events were indeed so shocking, that even for her, she could not believe what she saw. But even for being in defiance of the natural order, the Empress did not evade anything. Just in that public place with numerous people and eyes, while she had been in her state of shock, she could not help but think of a crueler fact!

There were too many individuals in this palace who had disappeared because they knew too many secrets. She did not want to be one of them, but if fate decided it as so, she could only accept it calmly.

Qianhe Liyou looked at Fengying with a profound, meaningful gaze and seeing that the other was beginning to sweat from all over her body, she only then slowly said, “What zhen does, never has zhen been afraid of others knowing. Don’t mention just a few attendants, even if everyone under the heavens knew, so what? Fengying, do what you should do, do not let your imagination run wild.”

“Understood.” Feng Ying retreated in trepidation, thinking that it was extremely fortunate that she and those attendants were to be temporarily left alive.

“Empress, do these subordinates need to be dealt with?” A similar question was asked by Anhui after Fengying left. Anhui’s expression was still cold and silent, like a sharp blade ready to be unsheathed. Just like the silence before a sword is unsheathed, ample, murderous spirit was on the verge of lashing out.

“Anhui, aren’t you looking down on zhen too much?” Qianhe Liyou’s expression and tone showed traces of unhappiness. She did not care much when Fengying had asked this, but now that Anhui had asked the same. Wasn’t this underestimating her too much?

“This subordinate does not dare, it is just gossip is a fearful thing and this is a matter concerning your reputation and the honor of the Imperial household. One must be careful!” If killing a few people could preserve the reputation of the Imperial household, he would never hesitate.

“What zhen decides to do will not change because of anyone. They can say whatever they want.” The word ‘reputation’ was basically a joke to her.  Just why would she care? As for the so-called gossip, whatever was said behind her back, she did not care for it. But if someone were to say something she didn’t like to hear right before her eyes, then the matter of life or death would depend on her mood at the time.

She was never a softhearted person and the reason for not killing is that there was no need to kill. If someone were to truly provoke her, then don’t blame her for being impolite. It had already been a long time since she had done anything like torturing people and the feeling of not being able to live, but also not being able to die was extremely unpleasant.

“….Yes!” Anhui did not know why the Empress would act as such. The King Dowager was unparalleled in elegance, but they were ultimately father and daughter, and that kind of intimate relationship was challenging the whole world. But for the Empress, the existence of people in this world was disposable and even if people in the world thought it was wrong, it would not affect her decision. This is where he both admired and envied the Empress. And what he needed to do now was to do his best in dealing with all those who could substantially harm the Empress!

It was just that, it was a pity that the Empress did not seem to need it.

“Come here.” Feeling Anhui’s determination, Qianhe Liyou’s mood lightened a bit. She liked Anhui’s attitude because no matter what she did, Anhui would always stand by her side without hesitation.

Anhui felt the chance in the Empress’ tone, and that cold, taught expression had turned a trace more imperceptible. He walked slowly towards the Empress until he was embraced by the other.

“Anhui, zhen likes your taste.” Qianhe Liyou licked Anhui’s neck and ambiguously whispered in his ear.

Anhui blushed, and that cold expression melted and he carefully wrapped his hands around the Empress’ waist, turning to slightly face the other: “Empress, no matter what your Majesty does, Anhui will always stand by your side.”

This was the most emotional sentence Anhui had ever uttered. For the Empress, he could live, but he would also die!

“Remember what you said just now, don’t regret it.” Do not make a promise lightly. Breaching a promise was tantamount to betrayal and she would never allow anyone to betray her.

“Absolutely not!” Anhui never made promises lightly and he would only say such promises to the Empress!

“Anhui, you are very good. Zhen believes you, but you have to promise zhen. Do not force yourself to do things, be yourself. You are zhen’s person, do not wrong yourself anymore. Do what you want to do. Zhen likes to see people finding a life that suits them.  A person’s life is not very long, so do not waste it in vain.”

A lifestyle suitable for you? Anhui used to be confused by this, but now he knew what life suited him. It was to be possessed by the person in front of him, to vividly feel all the feelings brought to him by her. He did not expect anymore than that and now that he had obtained it, there was nothing else to ask for, just cherish it!
