After Lin Qiyue administered the medication to Nyx, he gradually withdrew from his thoughts and sank into the realm of dreams.

This time, there was no recurring, exhausting knocking dream. Ever since the fusion with the Gods' Mental Hospital, it seemed he had completely shaken off the shackles of that dream, embracing true slumber.

He had a good dream—dreamt of attending university, achieving success in his career, moving into a large house with his aunt and Yang Jin, and finally, the three of them traveling to see the mountains and waters only glimpsed on TV...

Due to his previous physical disability and financial constraints at home, there was never extra money for travel in the seventeen years of Lin Qiyue's life. Deep down, he yearned for the outside world.

When the alarm clock rang, Lin Qiyue reluctantly got up, changed his clothes, and prepared to head to school.

As he opened the door, he noticed his aunt hastily changing shoes at the entrance, preparing to leave.

"Aunt, why are you going to work so early?"

"The factory received a new batch of components, and they want us to process them quickly. I'll be going ahead; continue having breakfast with your brother. Make sure not to be late!" His aunt grumbled.

"Alright."

Just as his aunt was about to close the door, Lin Qiyue spoke up again.

"Aunt."

"What's the matter?"

Aunt paused, looking at Lin Qiyue with confusion.

"Nothing..." After a moment of hesitation, Lin Qiyue shook his head, a smile appearing on his lips. "I'll tell you some good news when you come back."

Aunt gave him a puzzled look. "This child is playing mysterious with me. Fine, I'm short on time now. Tell me tonight!"

With that, she quickly closed the door, scurrying downstairs.

Lin Qiyue silently stood at the doorway, lowering his head, lost in thought.

Suddenly, he raised his head, as if he had made a certain decision, and opened the door in his slippers!

Standing in the corridor, he shouted downstairs!

"Aunt! I can see now!"

The next moment, Lin Qiyue heard the abrupt pause in the footsteps downstairs, and then his aunt's trembling voice came from beneath the fifth floor.

"You, say that again?!"

"I can see! I'm cured, Aunt!"

After a brief pause, a more urgent sound of footsteps came from below. Shortly after, his panting aunt stood in front of Lin Qiyue.

Her lips trembled slightly, but the corners of her mouth couldn't help but curl upward...

"You can see? Really?"

"Really."

"Is it blurry? Double vision? Does it hurt? Does exposure to light still sting?"

"No, none of that, Aunt." Lin Qiyue, with a raised corner of his mouth, reached up and untied the black satin covering his eyes. A pair of extraordinarily beautiful eyes slowly opened. "I'm really cured, Aunt."

His aunt stared at those eyes in astonishment, tears uncontrollably streaming down her face.

She laughed, and the wrinkles on her face seemed to bloom like flowers. At over forty years old, she laughed like a child.

Aunt embraced Lin Qiyue, and he could clearly feel her body trembling ever so slightly.

"Good, good... our little Qi has finally overcome it!" His aunt released Lin Qiyue, wiped away tears, and smiled, "Qi, Aunt needs to go to work now. When Aunt comes back tonight, buy some more groceries. We'll celebrate properly!"

"Thank you, Aunt."

"Well, Aunt is leaving now. You go to school and study well."

"Okay."

Aunt hurriedly went down the stairs, tears still flowing down her cheeks. She wiped her face and walked with an unprecedented lightness in her steps.

Lin Qiyue watched his aunt leave, eyes red, then turned and walked into the house.

In fact, he initially wanted to wait for his aunt to come back at night before officially announcing this news. However, he thought about it—people who set up such flags in movies usually didn't end well...

He didn't want his aunt to face any trouble. Even if it was an inexplicable mystical logic, he didn't want to take that risk.

So, he decisively pulled out the flag, tore it up, and tossed it into the Pacific.

Just as Lin Qiyue turned around, he saw Yang Jin holding Little Black Spot standing behind him, eyes slightly red.

The two brothers looked at each other for two seconds and burst into laughter simultaneously.

"Bro, congratulations."

"Yeah, now you can finally put those sunglasses I gave you to good use." Lin Qiyue touched Yang Jin's head, chuckling.

"Let's have dinner, bro. When Aunt comes back tonight, we'll have a feast."

"Sounds good!"

Little Black Spot poked its head out from Yang Jin's arms, licking Lin Qiyue's hand. "Woof!"

...

Second High School.

When Lin Qiyue entered the classroom, the whole class suddenly quieted down.

After a moment of confusion, someone tentatively spoke up, "Are you... Lin Qiyue?"

Lin Qiyue, removing the black satin, raised his eyebrows and nodded slightly.

After a brief silence, the classroom erupted into noise again, and the discussions were even more fervent than before!

"His eyes are better?"

"Definitely, he can see things now!"

"His eyes are so beautiful!"

"Yeah, how did we not notice before? He's actually quite handsome..."

The gaze of those female students towards Lin Qiyue changed. They huddled together, murmuring something, occasionally glancing at Lin Qiyue.

The male students closer to Lin Qiyue also gathered around, bombarding him with questions about his eyes. Confirming that Lin Qiyue had indeed recovered, they were all incredibly surprised.

"I could always see; it's just that my eyes couldn't handle the light. I went to the hospital yesterday, and now I'm fine." Lin Qiyue replied.

The classmates suddenly remembered that Lin Qiyue had indeed been absent for a day. They nodded in realization.

However, in this lively classroom, two people seemed out of place.

Liu Yuan, in the corner, lowered his head, glancing at Lin Qiyue with an awkward expression.

He clearly remembered that day when he was busy escaping and accidentally bumped into Lin Qiyue. After escaping, he thought that the blind Lin Qiyue couldn't escape from the monster, so although he felt guilty for a while, he didn't think much of it.

But unexpectedly, the one who died was Jiang Qian, and the person he least expected—Lin Qiyue—actually survived!

And his eyes even healed!

For a moment, Liu Yuan couldn't describe his own feelings—awkwardness? Guilt? Frustration? Or... regret?

Although Lin Qiyue had his back turned to Liu Yuan, the subtle changes in the latter's expressions were clearly seen through Lin Qiyue's spiritual perception. His eyes gradually narrowed.

At that moment, another person walked up to Lin Qiyue.

Li Yifei stood awkwardly beside Lin Qiyue's desk, his expression somewhat uncomfortable. He looked around, then leaned down to Lin Qiyue's ear.

"Qiy

ue... um... can you come out for a moment? I have something to say."

Lin Qiyue hesitated for a moment and nodded.
