A lot of people have asked how far we are from canon, and the answer is 2 years.
Canon will start when Sirius is 20, he is 18 right now.
Some people have also said that Ryuu, Alise, and Kaguya shouldn't be this strong, and I just plain disagree.
They are all said by Ryuu to be roughly equal in talent, with Ryuu stating that Alise was better than her in magic while Kaguya was among the best in Orario in sword technique.
Ryuu (in canon) was not only able to become level 4 in four years with Alise and Kaguya doing the same, but Ryuu also became level 6 after having not fought for five years.
Also, I know in canon the Astraea Familia call Ryuu by her last name 'Lion', I got rid of this for the sake of not confusing anyone.
Lastly, I got rid of many of the Japanese ways of speaking (-kun and -sama suffixes, using first name basis only once really close, etc.) this was also for the sake of confusion and two other reasons.
One, I think that the things like that in the original were due to the Japanese source material rather than the world itself, if that makes sense.
Two, Grammarly really hates Japanese suffixes.
