Losing my Wife…

(*Ria’s POV*)

Oddly, as Celia walked back to us, she look behind her, and seemed to be surprised. Then, she was lifted up in the air by an invisible force, and Celia was sent backward. Most likely to the temple. I was too confused to act in time, and Celia quickly vanished…

Amelie: “You… What the hell happened to my daughter!?” She yelled while grabbing the shoulders of a woman.

Was this the Creator? Her face was completely blurred, so I couldn’t see what she looked like at all. She advised Celia to not go into the temple, was the temple something bad?…

Creator: “Me? Why did you two let her go into that temple!?” She replied with a frustrated tone.

Ria: “Calm down you two. Yelling and fighting won’t solve anything.” I say with a stern tone.

Creator: “…”

Amelie: “…You’re right.” She said with a sigh.

Ria: “You’re a Creator, right? Then can’t you just save Celia?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Creator: “There is no saving Celia… This dimension is fucking ruined now…” She said with a defeated tone.

Amelie: “What the hell does that mean?” She asked with an annoyed tone.

Creator: “I based the main history of this dimension around Celia not that long ago. Now that she is gone, this dimension will slowly implode without its center. Which is now Celia.” She answered.

Her answer was vague and very confusing. What the hell does she even mean? She is acting as if Celia is gone, and will never ever come back to us… But that can’t be, right? No… I am sure that she will return. I just have to put my faith in her…

Ria: “Enough with the doom and gloom. Why can’t we get Celia back?” I ask with a serious tone.

Creator: “Riatzia… You should know that there is no point trying to fight the Void…” She replied with a sad tone.

Ria: “…”

Amelie: “Ria… I’ve never seen you make such a face like that… What even is the Void?” She asked with a nervous tone.

Good question… What is the Void? What it does is very simple, it consumes dimensions. Why it does such things, we have no idea. I’ve seen many dimensions be eaten by it… It took Celia, as she was the center point of this dimension. With her gone, then this dimension will quickly weaken, which would make eating it far easier. It was hard to explain this to Amelie…

Amelie: “…” She said with tears flowing done her face.

All I could do was hug her. I’ve lost my wife, and she lost her daughter. What else could we do? The Void ate Celia. The likelihood that she survived is almost zero. Even then, if she did survive, escaping is a whole other thing. One person did escape, but she was scarred beyond belief, and was mentally broken. As far as I am aware, she is still in that very same state to this day…

Amelie: “I refuse to believe this… Celia will survive, right?” She said with a unsure tone.

Creator: “Even if she did, Celia will be injured and mentally broken. Not to mention, she needs to get back within a month. Any later, and then the Void will have waited enough time to eat this dimension. That is, even if it doesn’t, the dimension will implode anyway.” She denied.

Amelie: “…”

Ria: “Celia… She has always done the impossible. Aren’t we giving up too soon?” I ask.

Creator: “Riatzia, the only person to ever survive the Void, was a fellow Creator, and she is still a vegetable to this very day.” She replied.

Ria: “…”

The Creator says that it is the Void, but maybe she is wrong? I walked over to a bottle of alcohol, and I picked it up. The bottle was pitch black, and when I poured it out, my heart sank… It was the blood of the Void… Which is a liquid that the Void uses to take over the inhabits of a dimension before it eats it…

Amelie: “I’m going to pass out…” She said with an unstable voice.

Creator: “There… Celia might survive, assuming that the Void is a person.” She proposed.

Ria: “What do you mean?” I ask.

Creator: “Celia is a rare, powerful soul. My bet is that she will someday be the strongest being in all of existence. If the Void is a living being, rather than an unthinking monster, then maybe it wants something from Celia?” She suggested.

Amelie: “Is that why you’ve interfered with us so much?” She asked.

Creator: “Celia’s life is very interesting, which is the main reason.” She replied.

Ria: “Back on topic, what are the odds that the Void wants something from her?” I ask with a serious tone.

Creator: “Well, for one, the Void hasn’t spread at all. I’ve checked, and it has been in this one place for a very long time. Which also means that it hasn’t eaten in a long while as well.” She explained.

Ria: “What about these people? Were they always controlled?” I ask.

Creator: “No. In fact, they only started to be controlled the moment that Celia stepped foot on this continent. The Void is also the one that set up the barrier.” She answered.

Ria: “I see…” I reply.

This isn’t enough evidence to assume that Celia will be fine. Even if the Void is acting completely different from it usually does. If Celia’s was its target, how did it know to wait for her in this place for so long?

The Void must be a person then… A being that can see into the future, just like Nia and I. Of course, that is before the Creator of this dimension made our future seeing basically useless…

Amelie: “If Celia doesn’t come back, I will hunt you down, and then torture you for years!” She said with a furious tone.

Creator: “If Celia doesn’t come back soon, then this dimension will be destroyed. I already promised Celia that I would offer her my head if I ever did anything that would ruin her life. As I failed to save her from the Void, I’d say that I failed.” She replied.

Amelie: “Meaning what?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Creator: “If Celia truly ends up dead, then I will offer my head to you before this dimension is destroyed.” She answered.

Amelie: “I’ll hold you to those words. Though, if Celia really is dead, I might just go insane…” She said with a serious tone.

Ria: “Amelie, we just have to hope that it doesn’t come to that.” I reply as I give her a hug.

Like before with Hell, we just have to trust that for some damn reason, even beyond the Creator of this dimension, fate shines brightly upon Celia. Don’t get me wrong, I love Amelie, and she is my soul mate. But Celia is too. Losing her would be devastating to many, many people, including me. I just hope that whatever Celia is facing, is something that she can handle…
