Chapter 39: Let’s go on a Date!

(*Garentia’s POV*)

My mood was kinda off, as I felt bad about lying to Celia. Due to that, I had a maid come and pick me up. Even before I was a Creator, I still made a vow to never drive unless I was fully aware. With my thoughts going everywhere, it was enough to warrant me not driving back home.

Clare: “My Lady, will you look at the recordings from Celia’s bedroom?” She asked, while keeping her eyes on the road.

Garentia: “Hm… Not today, no.” I reply.

Doubts start to feel my mind… I get the feeling that Celia isn’t telling me the whole truth. And to be fair to her, I haven’t asked her about anything, really. If I did, Celia would most likely tell me the truth. But what if the truth is something that will hurt?…

Celia: “Garentia! Why don’t we go on a date?” She asked with a smile.

Huh? Ah… I was so lost in thought, I didn’t even realize that I had made it back home. I don’t even recall opening the door, and coming into the living room. Celia was on the couch playing with her phone, and she got up and walked very to me with a smile and asked me to go on a date with her.

Garentia: “Sure. Where do you want to go?” I reply.

Celia: “Hm… Any suggestions?” She asked.

Garentia: “How about the aquarium?” I suggest.

It was just newly built, and I had to go to a few different dimensions to get various kinds of fish to fill it up with. Maybe it is the Creator in me that wants to build up this place, even though I will leave it, eventually…

Celia: “That sounds great! Are we going today?” She asked with a needy tone.

Celia is like a drug… I haven’t known her long, but I already feel as if I can’t live without her. She wants me to pamper her, and I want to pamper her as well. Not to mention, she pampers me too. If she wasn’t already my wife, I would be very jealous of her wives.

Garentia: “…Let’s go right now.” I reply with a smile.

After getting back into the car, a maid drove us once again. Celia got into the back seat with me, and leaned her head on my shoulder. Soon, she was deep asleep. Or at least, she didn’t wake up when I rubbed her head. Though, I did do it very gently.

Clare: “My Lady, I think that you should look at a specific recording.” She said once more.

Garentia: “This is the second time you’ve brought it up. Did Celia say something bad?” I ask in a quiet tone so as to not wake Celia up.

Clare wasn’t driving this time, and instead, was in the front passenger seat. Rather than a driver, Clare is better suited to be a bodyguard. Which is why I brought her with us. Even though we’re both strong, we should still have protection.

Clare: “Celia isn’t exactly who you think she is, My Lady.” She replied.

Garentia: “Are you saying that I am being tricked?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Clare: “Yes.” She said with a nod.

Garentia: “…”

Clare: “But, it works out well for you, My Lady.” She said with a smile.

Clare then handed me a tablet, and there was a video already pulled up on it. Celia kept sleeping the entire time, and the cute girl didn’t look like she would wake up soon. Regardless, I made sure to lower the volume a lot.

Garentia: “…”

After watching the video, I had to stifle a laugh… Celia was talking to a little fairy, but I knew that this was God. The one who I took Heaven from. And, it seems like it was my fault that Celia ended up here in the future.

With God’s help, we can easily go back to the time before I took over Heaven. It would fix almost everything, and I can be with Celia. Now I feel even worse, neglecting Celia for my work. Which turned to not be useful, as Celia already had a solution ready.

How much does Celia trust me? Her original goal was to stop me many years ago, but due to my intervention, she ended up here in this far-flung time period. Will she tell me the truth? Swallowing my nervousness, I nudged Celia to wake her up.

Celia: “Huh?… Are we there, Garentia?” She asked before yawning cutely.

Garentia: “Celia, are you from the past?” I ask with a serious tone.

Celia: “How’d you figure it out? Yeah, I am.” She answered with a smile.

I was okay with this answer. It meant that she trusted me to a certain degree. But then Celia explained everything that had happened to her while visiting Heaven. I kept nodding and giving small replies, but deep down, I wanted to cry…

Her coming to this time was my fault, but I didn’t even know who she was. In reality, I was mainly after God. Celia just got caught up in my path. To think that I would meet my wife, and at the time where I truly needed her in my life…

Celia: “Tia, what’s wrong?” She asked with a concerned tone and expression.

Garentia: “Nothing. I am just happy, is all.” I reply with a laugh.

Celia: “Happy? So am I! Like I said before, I didn’t expect that I would get another wife.” She said with a smile.

Garentia: “Yes, I didn’t expect this either. Do you want to leave now?” I ask with a serious tone.

Celia: “Now? Aren’t we going on a date?” She replied with a head tilt.

Garentia: “That is true, but don’t you want to go back to your time?” I reply.

Celia: “I do. But taking a little break with you is fine. I get to relax for a bit, and we get to cultivate our feelings more.” She replied.

Garentia: “Since we’re immortal, we have all the time in the world, Celia.” I reply.

Celia: “True… But I still want to go on a few more dates with you first, before we leave.” She said with a cute pout.

Garentia: “That’s fine, but we can’t play forever. I am very intent on undoing my mistake.” I reply.

God: “If you were going to undo it, why take over my rightful ownership of Heaven in the first place!?” She exclaimed.

Celia: “…”

Garentia: “?”

Celia: “Ignore the talking God fairy, she isn’t important at the moment.” She said with a laugh.

God: “…”

Never in my life have I ever seen anyone just insult and ignore a being as powerful as God before… If it wasn’t for me getting involved in her and the Devil’s fight, I wouldn’t have been able to take over Heaven. Oh, well. I will go with my wife’s advice and ignore the clearly fuming fairy that is apparently God.
