IllyasArt Hello! This is my latest novel! Unlike my other novels, this one isn't finished yet. The first volume is finished, though. And you can buy it on Amazon here. If you would be so kind, you can also get the first volume(and anything else I've made.) on my Patreon for donating $10 or over that, here. If you wish for updates, the $10 and over tiers will give you access to chapters when I actually finish them. (Maybe one a day? Idk, as I will be mainly working on other novels as well. But, there will at least be one new chapter every few days.)

Chapter 25: Dungeon Exploration.

*Celia’s POV*

As I pull my sword out from a Goblins skull, I realize that my previous words may end up being misinterpreted. No. I am not interested in Yona. Given how I am still a child in this form, I will not be hooking up with anyone until I get older. Yada yada, I have the mind of an adult, so it should be fine. Nope! At least, I don’t think that it would be fine.

As for the other comment, no. I am not a masochist. I just think that seeing a woman be absolutely sadistic to her enemies, is really hot. Sue me. Wait… does a legal system even exist in this world? I mean, it should…

Yona: “I was right. You handled yourself quite well in that fight.” She said with a happy tone after she rubbed my head once again.

Why do you keep rubbing my head? Not that I dislike it, I am just confused by her actions… Well, she is cute, so I’ll let it slide for now. She doesn’t look to be sexual attracted to me, so maybe she is just treating me as her little sister, or something like that? Eh, I’ll figure it out later.

Celia: “Yona, you called them Goblins, but my System says that they’re Primal Goblins.” I say, unprompted.

Yona: “Primal Goblins? I did notice that they were different from most Goblins.” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Is it bad that they’re Primal Goblins, rather than just normal ones?” I ask.

Yona: “It depends on how you look at it. Since they’re Primal Goblins, they won’t take any female’s hostage.” She said with a shrug.

I could easily guess what she meant, so I didn’t push her to explain further. I guess that just like in fantasy novels and games, Goblins are natural enemies to women…

Exploring more into the dungeon, we came across nothing but Goblins, and more Mana Crystals. But I have learned my lesson, although I won’t admit that I got Mana drunk to Yona, I won’t be mining anything for a decent while. Especially not Mana Crystals…

Hey wait… if my Inspect Skill got to such a high level, why wasn’t there more information when I inspected that stupid squid? Ruina, do you have an answer for that?

Ruina: “I do. But it is a very complex answer.” She replied.

Celia: “Please tell me it. Right now, Yona and I are just walking.” I implore her.

Ruina: “Your System is unique to you.” She said after a short pause.

Celia: “Meaning what?” I ask with a head tilt.

Ruina: “Others have had Systems in this universe, but each is unique to them.” She repeated.

Celia: “So… it doesn’t matter how long people have had Systems, because the progress on each System is different?” I assume.

Ruina: “That is correct.” She replied.

Celia: “That is stupid…” I say with a sigh.

Ruina: “There is a really good reason for this, but I will hold off on telling you it.” She said with a haughty tone.

Celia: “Huh… why?” I ask with a head tilt.

Ruina: “Because it’s funny to leave you pondering about it. Ah, for your question, it is because the higher levels of that Skill haven’t been implement just yet.” She answered with a giggle.

Why was I given a cheeky System helper? You could at least turn into a hot woman, but no. You’re just a bratty disembodied voice living in my head. God… that makes it sound like I am insane, or something…

Though, the Inspect Skill not having the higher levels actually do anything, really sucks a lot… Will other Skills also end up being unfinished?…

Celia: “Hey, Yona?” I call out to her.

Yona: “What is it? Ah, are you hungry?” She replied.

After she asked that, my stomach growled… Which made Yona laugh… Fuck! I do recall that my Hunger Stat was damn near empty after I got out of that trance…

Celia: “Well… actually, yes. But I was going to ask you about something else.” I say with a slightly embarrassed tone and expression.

Rather than ask me what I was curious about, she guided me to a set of two smooth looking rocks, of which we sat down on. She took out some food from out of under her cape, that I totally forgot to mention until now, and handed me some of it to eat. It was a very fresh and delicious looking and smelling, seemingly buttered piece of bread.

Seeing such a delicious piece of bread, my will to resist eating it right away, was very weak… Yeah, I was starving, but I needed my question answered…

Yona: “If you want to ask your question before you eat, it must be quite important. So, what did you want to ask me?” She asked with a curious tone and expression.

Celia: “People that can use a System like me, do they have someone in their head that they talk to?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Yona: “All of the people recorded that could use a System, always had a helper in their head.” She answered.

Celia: “Ah, that’s good. I was worried that I had gone insane, ha ha.” I say with a sigh of relief.

What I said caused Yona to break out into loud laughter… Either this woman has a low bar for comedy, or I am just accidentally funny sometimes…

With a pout, I quietly ate my bread. And my holy sweet God! This bread tasted like crusted heaven! Fuuuuck! I can’t go back to eating random things that I hunt now... When I run out of the food that Yona gave me, I might just end up actually going insane…

Yona: “Is it good?” She asked with a smile.

The answer to her question, is obviously a resounding, YES! The food that I have been eating lately, if you could even call it food, tasted horrible. Not to mention, for many years after those beings showed up, good food was damn near impossible to come by.

And this bread is a hundred times better than any of the food that we could make in that apocalyptic world. I don’t care about anything anymore, I need to hug this woman’s thigh’s, and keep on her good side. Better yet, why not have her adopt me? No… that is a pretty dangerous thought.

Celia: “Ah, it tastes amazing!” I say with a happy smile and tone.

Yona: “That’s good! From your reactions, I’d say that it is far better than that fish, right?” She asked with a laugh.

Celia: “It is miles, and miles better than that bland fish.” I say with a laugh of my own.

Cute girls are deadly… Why? Well, I must have looked so damn cute while eating, since Yona continued to feed me more, and more food. Peeking at my Status, I will be full soon. Oh no… this woman might kill me via overfeeding me!
