As I begin the scramble to post chapters here there and everywhere, and worry about having taken a day off so I have nothing started toward a Data Dragon yet this week... I've been thinking about how to turn this writing adventure into a maintainable life-style instead of an "until I'm finished with this".
--
Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.
The questions:
Am I becoming good enough at story telling that I should devote myself to this effort?
How can I increase my income / popularity?
Can I do that while giving myself more leeway, like more days off to feel sickly without "should be doing" lingering in the background?
--
The tentative theory:
Once I finish DDD (this should possibly be omitted and I should be making changes sooner, but I still feel bad about stopping daily releases), then during a week I would:
Spend three days on writing: first priority one chapter a week from the next story, and second priority one chapter a week from a rewritten / edited story as I act as my own editor/publisher.
Spend a day just publishing/scheduling chapters on the novel sites. Answering comments, and otherwise maintaining those accounts.
Spend a day on applications for a real publisher, monitoring ebook sales and promotions.
--
Dear patrons and readers,
please contribute any thoughts and suggestions, and let me know if you are interested in supporting my efforts under such restrictions in the future?
I understand that money is a precious resource directly linked to your own survival, so I don't know if you would receive enough "return" on your "investment" if I moderate my output further, or if you are even receiving that now...
Is this the way? Or merely an episode in the long adventure?
