As he sat there he replayed the fight in his mind, and thinking about the strength of each of Beast King, the weakest should be the rabbit who was level one while the others should be around level two.

He didn't have much of a fighting style for himself and as things progressed he might need to develop or learn one, him main advantages were the fact that he could use energy and how hard the scales were.

And the scales were the only ones he could continue to rely on.

Before he could've used the [Purple Inferno] to end the fight in no time plus in comparison to the amount of energy the domain took, the [Purple Inferno] was nothing, but recently Azreal found himself becoming more and more dependent on the [Purple Inferno] and he kept getting a feeling in the back of his mind that if he continued like this eventually he'll meet an opponent that can ignore the fire and then what?

On the other hand, it's not like he could just stop using the technique all together he wasn't stupid, [Eternal Damnation] [Purple Inferno] [Emperor Technique] and the [Domain], the only techniques he knew currently.

[Purple Inferno] he was getting too dependent so he wanted to take a small step back.

The [Domain] sucked way too much energy to be something he used all the time, plus not all opponents would just stand by while he wrote the ruins and without the [King's Eyes] he had no choice but to continue doing it like this.

[BloodLust] was the only one he could use as he pleased, and the [Emperor Technique] to some degree while [Eternal Damnation] was something he could only unleash if he planned on killing everyone that's in the area.

Reasoning it out like this he couldn't help but feeling slightly depressed, there weren't many avenues for learning new techniques here since warbeast depended on their fists until they developed a core, the only interesting thing they did that he would want to learn is that lighting thing but since majority of those he fought didn't use it it seemed like something that was hereditary or something similar.

Thinking about it he'd just wait until Xavious was finished and ask him.

….

"Ready?"

Xavious walked over to Azreal who had his hand behind his head relaxing and tossed a pretty good size bag beside him along with some of the more valuable weapons

"Yea but aren't you gonna clean up first?" Azreal asked while tossing them in his space ring.

After digging through all those corpses he was now covered in blood but he didn't look disgusted, it seemed like something he's done before.

Raising his hands and looking at all the blood Xavious let out a series of dry chuckles.

"Let's go I'll take you to the house I used" getting up Azreal led the way to the house and sat down in the living room while Xavious went to the bathroom.

"Hey, how comes I've never seen you doing that lighting thing?"

It didn't take long for an answer to come back.

"Hmm, never felt the need to"

"Someone taught you to use it?"

"No I just always knew, why are you asking? You want to learn?"

"Yea" he answered honestly.

"I don't know what to tell you then" As he spoke he walked out of the bathroom with one of his short hands slightly raised, a red lighting bolt coiling around it.

"Everyone who's able to use it should be the same as me" as he said that the lighting disappeared.

When Xavious walking out of the bathroom he was still wearing the same clothes the scent of blood still reminded.

"Their's clothes in the closet, not everyone is able to use it?"

Xavious walked into the room where Azreal pointed, Azreal could hear the sound of metal touch the floor, if he wasn't sure before he was positive that Xavious splurged on himself while they were in the Empyrean Wolves territory.

Azreal didn't get any response until Xavious walked out of the room in fresh clothes still in the armor and a different coat.

"Nope, I'm not sure why though"

As Azreal heard that he got a faint feeling that Xavious was lying, sitting up he looked directly at Xavious.

"You're lying, Do you know the technique behind the lighting?"

"No"

When he got the answer he shrugged, whether or not Xavious knew why other warbeast couldn't perform it didn't affect him in the least since all he wanted to know was how to use it.

….

Because of the blood, they used the top of the buildings when leaving the city.

After traveling for an hour the once rocky environmental started turning green, along the way there were a few roads but they kept heading straight.

After about another half an hour they saw the outline of a shop where they saw Nala and the little fox girl.

From where she was sitting Nala could sense the lingering killing intent on Xavious and Azreal—especially Azreal— she didn't have much reaction to this but the little fox started trembling as she gripped Nala's hand tighter.

Looking down at her Nala could see tears welling up in her eyes.

"Mommy…...brother…."

Although the words came out as soft as a whisper Nala still heard them, her tiny red nose started to shake a little, Nala didn't say anything only held her close.

The few warbeast in the shop looked at Azreal and Xavious as they came closer.

"Let's go," Azreal said to Nala with a smile.

Getting up Nala was about to walk off but the little fox didn't move, she tried a few times to gently pull but she just wouldn't budge.

"There's a village close by we could stop there for the night, especially since they're having a festival"

They'd both noticed the little foxes action so neither Azreal nor Xavious said anything.
