In the nick of time, Raine successfully led the three others out of the light curtain and back into the sea. The cave was collapsing and when Raine became exhausted, Arsan and the others finally regained their mobility. They pulled Rhim in their frantic escape from the crumbling rocks.

The exit was close at hand! A boulder suddenly fell! They were too late to dodge!

Suddenly, a huge black figure burst through the hole and swallowed the four of them in one gulp!

To their surprise, they found themselves trapped between the upper and lower jaws of the sea monster, surrounded by a strong smell of blood. And Raine noticed that the radar display showed they were ascending from the bottom of the sea at a rapid pace. The sea monster was actually saving them!

Raine grabbed Arsan, who was about to attack, and shouted, "It's Blacky!"

Soon after, when the sea monster opened its mouth again, the group discovered that Blacky had brought them to the surface as they had hoped.

After coming out from the sharp teeth of Blacky, Raine patted its head and praised, "Good boy!" In response, Blacky rubbed his head against Raine's body, knocking off a few scales.

Once they boarded the ship, Avril immediately sprang into action, tending to Windbell's serious injuries sustained from a hot treasure chest. Under Avril's treatment, Windbell gradually woke up.

"Windbell, don't worry. I'll help you heal every day from now on. You can definitely recover," Avril said with a comforting smile.

"Thank you, Avril," Windbell replied gratefully.

Raine also came to check on Windbell's injuries. Both legs had obvious signs of burns, and the muscles were slightly atrophied. Thankfully, her scales had protected her from a more serious injury.

"Windbell, it's my fault," Raine said, looking at her burns and atrophied muscles.

However, Windbell reassured Raine, "Captain, it's not your fault. Treasure hunting is dangerous. We've been at sea for so long and we've accepted this long ago. Besides, if it weren't for you, we'd all be dead inside."

Avril stepped forward, offering to take care of Windbell's injuries, "Captain, I'll cure her." Raine nodded.

"By the way, Captain, take a look at what's inside that treasure chest. It's the one we fought so hard to obtain," Windbell said, her curiosity piqued.

"Yes, I've never seen anything like this strange space before. I wonder who could have put this treasure chest inside," Avril added.

"Places like this...if it wasn't for the captain, I don't think anyone could have gotten it at all. The more dangerous the place, the more likely there will be treasures. Let's hurry up and see what good things are inside," Windbell exclaimed.

All three of them looked at the treasure chest on the ground in unison. The chest was relatively small and made of an unknown material. There was no lock and the opening was sealed shut. Raine theorized that the chest had been in a high temperature for a long time, causing the metal to slightly melt and seal the opening.

Faced with this fully enclosed treasure chest, Raine could only turn to the system for help.

"Scan the item."

[Titanium Metal Box Found, Weight 480 kg]

Raine quickly reviewed his list of manufacturable items. He was aware that titanium was a versatile metal that could be used to make a variety of products, ranging from hull shields to metal products. It was resistant to high temperatures, extremely hard, had excellent toughness, and was highly resistant to corrosion.

To Raine's surprise, he discovered that titanium could also be used to make weapons! However, using titanium alloy to make a hull was out of the question due to the limited amount available. But, a few weapons could be made.

"Onebear, find a box to put this in," Raine instructed. He was worried that the treasure chest might contain something dangerous. Onebear quickly found a golden case, opened it, and placed the titanium box inside.

"Okay... Make two sets of titanium claws and seven daggers," Raine said.

As soon as the words left his mouth, the titanium box was swiftly cut into the desired weapons. At the same time, the previously calm sea suddenly became rough, with strong winds blowing.

Dark clouds appeared out of nowhere, pressing low in the sky. Lightning and thunder filled the sky as the electrical equipment on the ship became unstable. The radar was randomly alarming, and the lighting flickered.

The ship was rocking severely, and everyone hurried to grab the nearest handrails.

"Captain, a storm has suddenly come out of nowhere!"

"What the hell..."

Raine gripped handrails tightly and used his radar to scan. His system radar was still functioning properly, but the ship's equipment had sustained significant damage. It might need to be overhauled after the storm.

Outside, it was pouring rain. After everyone had adjusted to it, they turned their attention back to the golden chest.

Raine opened the box. The titanium case had now been transformed into two sets of sharp claws and seven sharp daggers, and there was a red stone next to the weapons!

"A stone?" Raine was extremely disappointed. He had hoped to find a powerful sea god fruit, but it was just a stone.

Next to the stone, there was a small iron box. Raine picked it up and opened it, finding a small metal block inside. When he touched the metal block, an old man suddenly appeared in front of the crew!

The old man, dressed in a suit with a full head of white hair, scared everyone as he appeared.

"A ghost? Holy shit, no!"

The old man's gaze was fixed on Raine. Despite Raine trying to duck away, the old man's gaze remained on him.

Raine said with black lines on his forehead, "No ghost. This is a 3D holographic projection!"

At this point the old man spoke.

"I don't know who you are, but you got the Heaven Crystal, then I need to introduce this stone to you."

Heaven Crystal? Raine looked at the stone, this thing is called Heaven Crystal? What exactly is it?

"I am an archaeologist. During an excavation near the Himalayas, we discovered a multitude of relics that substantiate the veracity of ancient legends.

Humans have only existed for a minuscule amount of time compared to the four billion years of Earth's history. Before human civilization, more advanced beings inhabited the Earth.

Our findings showed that these powerful races did not become extinct, and it is believed they either went underground or lived underwater.

Just as we made these important discoveries, the Earth was undergoing major changes. In 2047, the global temperature rose by three degrees Celsius, causing the North and South Pole glaciers to melt and the permafrost to thaw. The rising sea levels resulted in numerous coastal cities being hit by tsunamis.

In 2055, the damaged atmosphere made it challenging for the Earth to withstand the solar wind. This is when the Earth began to produce "mutant" humans and creatures, and this trend has continued to increase.

The outbreak of World War III in 2059 further damaged the atmosphere and fueled my curiosity about what would happen next.

I know that human greed has finally cut off the future of mankind. But I was surprisingly excited about what was going to happen next.

When the continents are flooded and the world becomes a water world, will the former civilizations return to this world? The thought of it both excites and terrifies me."

Raine frowned, taken aback by the old man's crazy for science. Nevertheless, his words opened a new door of possibilities for Raine. The ancient legends were true!?
