They didn't run...they even chased after them!

The captain on the opposite ship lowered his binoculars, his eyes widening when he saw the blackened muzzles on the ship, the metallic hull all over, and of course the black dragon tieing behind the ship that had an unknown fate. Finally, he gave the order.

Blacky's body was half-floating and half-sinking, and no one could really tell how big it was.

The ship that went hunting sea monsters in the depths of Satan Abyss was not to be trifled with!

"Retreat! Quick, quick retreat!"

The opposite ship turned and ran, and Raine was slowed down by dragging a black dragon, gradually falling behind the other ship.

"Hehe, you want to chase me? Impossible!" Henry, the pirate ship's captain, laughed confidently, "You're still dragging a sea monster. Goodbye!"

"Let's go, let's go to the next stakeout and see if we can find any easy targets!"

Henry ran off cheerfully.

Raine finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Damn. I'm just too unlucky. I just left Satan Abyss and ran into a pirate gang,"

"Captain, the vulture pirate group, as their name suggests, specializes in scavenging. It's hard for D1-class pirate groups like them to survive in the center of the King-class sea areas, so they mainly rely on robbing outside the Satan Abyss for fleets that have just emerged from the abyss," said Armin.

"If unfortunate fleets engage in a fierce battle with sea monsters and suffer heavy losses, they will seize the opportunity to plunder. However, these pirate gangs are cowardly and may encounter powerful forces among fleets that venture into the king-level waters."

Raine nodded in agreement, "So they're just a bunch of opportunistic thieves."

"However, we were welcomed as soon as we entered the king-class waters. It seems the competition here will be even more intense," remarked Shobe as he strolled over nonchalantly.

"Captain, why didn't we chase after them just now?" he asked.

"Chase after what? We ran out of ammunition. I was just bluffing," replied Raine.

"What? We ran out of ammunition? Then why did you act like we were really pursuing them?" Shobe exclaimed in surprise.

"That's called putting on a show. If we didn't appear strong, they would have attacked us. We would have been sitting ducks," explained Raine, shaking his head as he returned to the captain's quarters.

Shobe looked at Armin in disbelief, who nodded in agreement with Raine. Remembering the threatening behavior of the pirate gang earlier, Shobe couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.

After tricking the pirate gang and escaping, Raine couldn't afford to rest. He quickly replenished their ammunition and ordered the crew to load them into the weapons.

Once the ammunition was replenished, Raine regained his confidence. Wandering around the king-class waters unarmed is a death wish!

However, strangely enough, Raine and his crew did not encounter any ships for the next few days. No pirate crews, bounty groups, or merchant vessels at all!

"What's going on?" Raine carefully checked the ship's radar system, but there was no response. "In the Beast class sea, we often saw ships fighting each other, but now that we're in the King-class sea, it's so quiet?"

"Armin, what's going on? Is it because there are too few fleets in the King-class sea?" Raine asked.

Armin thought for a moment and said, "Captain, I don't know. In many memoirs of legendary captains that I've read, they all say that the King-class sea is very dangerous and has many fleets."

Before coming to the King-class sea, Armin had planned a route, but after half a month of travel, the Eastern Sulphur Islands that they should have arrived at did not appear on Raine's radar system!

"Lost?" Raine looked incredulous. This had never happened before.

There were many veteran sailors on board, and after Raine raised the question, everyone agreed that they had not deviated from their course.

"Captain, the King-class sea has very volatile geological activity, with frequent underwater volcanic eruptions. It's possible that the Eastern Sulphur Islands sank. Check the seabed to see what's going on," Tik suggested.

Raine tried and found that there was a sunken island about 400 meters below their ship!

"Damn, how could this happen? We're so unlucky!" Raine frowned. "Now we have a problem: our fuel won't be enough to get us to the next island!"

As soon as Raine finished speaking, chaos broke out in the captain's cabin!

"Did it really sink? Captain, this isn't bad luck, it's a fortune, a huge fortune!" Trueking said in shock, he rarely gets so excited.

"Oh my god, as the saying goes: Surviving a great ordeal will bring good fortune. I've only heard about this kind of thing, but I've never seen it!" Charge King was also extremely excited, his eyes wide open.

Shobe blew smoke rings, "Yeah, it's extremely rare. The navy has never encountered such a stroke of luck before."

Raine looked confused, the more he listened, the more he couldn't understand. Everyone was ecstatic, but he was the only one left in the dark.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about? We're running out of fuel, and you're all so excited. Can someone explain it to me?"

Tik quickly explained to Raine, "Armin used the latest nautical chart which didn't show any news of the sinking of Eastern Sulphur Island. This means that it sank suddenly!"

"This kind of situation is very rare because islands are closely monitored for changes in the surrounding sea currents. If a continental shelf is sinking, they would have calculated it three to five years in advance and they would have had enough time to evacuate."

"But there are also some special circumstances that can cause islands to sink suddenly, such as drastic changes in the continental plate. This situation is very rare, but it's not impossible. In such a case, they wouldn't have time to evacuate supplies."

"A sunken island! And a large one that didn't have time to evacuate supplies is right under our feet! Captain, do you now understand why we say we've struck it rich?"

The more Raine listened, the more he understood, and the more he understood, the more excited he became.

In short, what lay beneath his feet was a goldmine!

Shobe continued, "What's even stranger is that there isn't a fleet around. It's a bit unusual, but on the other hand, it also means... we'll be the sole beneficiaries of this huge wealth!"

Raine took a deep breath, he understood everything now.

Fuel or no fuel, he had found an island, and not just one, but an archipelago!

He didn't need anyone to remind him, Raine already knew that there must be something hidden behind this unusual situation no matter why Eastern Sulphur Archipelago suddenly sank or why there were no other fleets around.

But none of that mattered. The only thing that mattered now was to salvage the supplies.

"What are you all waiting for? Everyone, get off the ship and salvage the island!"

"Yes, captain! Let's go!" The crew rushed to get into the water and head towards the super treasure at the bottom of the sea!
