After searching the seas for half a month, Raine and his team finally discovered the Dragon God of this region.

The booming sound of cannon fire erupted over the ocean, striking fear into the hearts of the islanders working on the island and mining operations. They hurriedly grabbed telescopes to watch the spectacle.

"It's Captain Raine! They're fighting the Dragon God!"

"They must win!"

"They've already killed two Dragon Gods, they'll definitely win!"

Raine had already communicated with the island's inhabitants, so they agreed to help him mine the ores only if they kill the Dragon God.

Now, it was time to fulfill that promise!

The Dragon God here was a B6 class, the same as the one on Layte's island. However, fortunately, this black dragon did not possess an anti-radar metal layer.

Lacking this crucial attribute, the black dragon's fate was much more tragic than the two-headed blue dragon's. In just half an hour, its lifeless body floated on the surface of the water.

Cheering erupted from the island and the mining operation on the sea.

"Oh my heavens, they won! They actually won!"

Some raised their arms in exultation, while others wept with joy.

"My child... your vengeance is finally fulfilled. If only you had lived two more years, you wouldn't have died... sob, sob..."

Life had been difficult for the people here, caught between the Dragon God and the fleet guarding the safe zone.

This time, defeating the black dragon was relatively easy. They lost a few drones and two Yamato-class ships, as the black dragon's tail was extremely tough, sweeping and destroying four warships in one swipe.

Fortunately, the fleet commanders had plenty of experience. After identifying the black dragon's characteristics, they focused their firepower to restrain it.

Under the continuous barrage of heavy artillery, the black dragon could no longer withstand the onslaught and was finally killed in a concentrated attack.

The injured from the two destroyed warships were sent to nearby vessels for treatment. Luckily, the Yamato-class ships had absorbed most of the damage, and the crew had high levels, capable of dealing with the dangers caused by the ship's deformation. The injuries were not too severe.

Raine was busy taking a headcount of the crew while, near the black dragon's corpse, the four beasts were feasting heartily.

Blacky, being the largest, ate the fastest. White and the Tiger King, seeing Blacky's speed, hurriedly buried their heads to eat. Little Fire Turkey could only eat small chunks of meat in one bite, but it pecked rapidly like a woodpecker, managing to snatch its fair share.

Of course, eating quickly wasn't much of an advantage, as there was plenty of the massive black dragon corpse, at least two or three hundred meters long, to ensure they'd feast for quite some time.

"Blacky, could you be a bit more civilized! Your huge mouth is terrifying. Don't eat those three along with it!"

Looking wronged, Blacky glanced at Raine and moved to the other side to eat.

As for the Tiger King, it was originally just a powerful exotic beast. But since following Trueking and Raine, it ate and lived alongside White and Blacky. In battle, its performance was almost on par with White's.

Raine couldn't help but ponder.

Blacky was once a Scaly Dragon, but its parents said that in the legends of the Scaly Dragon clan, it was possible for Scaly Dragons to evolve into true dragons. By that logic, Raine wondered if the Tiger King could one day become a divine beast.

With that thought, Raine patted the Tiger King's head. "Tiger King, eat more."

Turning his head, Raine saw White. Although its improvement after the mutation wasn't significant, Raine thought that perhaps it required other items from the system. However, White had always been diligent, playing an even more significant role in battles than Raine himself.

Having White and the Tiger King around was key to minimizing casualties among the crew.

"White, you should eat more too," Raine said, stroking White's fur.

Finally, Raine walked over to Little Fire Turkey.

Upon seeing Raine, Little Fire Turkey rubbed its head against Raine's face and then continued eating, seemingly craving the food.

"Little buddy, eat more. Your fire is a powerful weapon."

When the fleet returned to shore, the islanders brought out what little food they had left in their homes and lined up along the coastline.

"Captain Raine, thank you for helping us kill the Dragon God. This is a token of our gratitude from the villagers; please accept it!" Archie, trembling, handed Raine a bamboo basket.

Raine looked at the islanders, many with tears in their eyes.

For Raine, killing a B6-class black dragon wasn't too difficult, but for these people, it was as if he had shattered a mountain weighing on them.

The basket contained a few flatbreads, some eggs, and a small bag of rice – rare commodities on the island. Giving these to Raine likely meant that Archie's family would have to survive on dried fish for months.

Raine felt a bit uneasy.

The Azure Era seemed beautiful, but the people here, regardless of the region, struggled to survive.

Even small acts of kindness were met with immense gratitude...

"Archie, as I said, I would help you kill the Dragon God, and you would help me mine ores. That's our deal. So please, take these back."

"No, Captain Raine, the deal is a deal. You don't need to worry about mining. This is our heartfelt gift, so please accept it."

"Yes, please accept our offering!" the islanders chimed in.

"The reward you've offered for mining the ores is already quite generous! We don't have anything valuable, only these. Please don't disdain our humble gifts."

Avril stood behind Raine, suddenly feeling sentimental.

From the earliest uncharted seas to the current Dragon-class sea area, Raine had changed more and more.

It seemed that money was all Raine ever cared about, but only those who truly knew him understood that the least important thing to their captain was money.

He was finally willing to shoulder the burden that no one else dared to bear.

Her choice back then was not wrong; she was willing to follow this guy all the way!

On the second day after returning to the island, Raine specifically visited Archie.

"Archie, do you know about the ore deposits near the surrounding islands?"

"Sir, we have regular trade with those islands, and they also mine ores from time to time. I am quite familiar with them in general," Archie replied respectfully.

"Do you know which ore deposits have more bauxite and titanium ore?"

"For these two types of ores, there are plenty in Phoenix Feather Island to the northwest and Flowing Gold Island Island further north. Those are their primary sources of rare ores."

Seeing Raine nod, seemingly interested in those two ore deposits, Archie quickly added, "Sir, you must be thinking about going to those two islands."

"I checked the materials I need, and I'm lacking in these two types. I need to balance the acquisition speed of various materials."

Archie didn't know what Raine wanted to build, and it wasn't his place to ask. He just reminded Raine, "Sir, you have already killed three Dragon Gods. Do you want to take a break?"

Raine smiled slightly, "I've already rested well."

Archie seemed hesitant to speak, but after a long pause, he said, "Sir, I know that people from other islands must also hope for you to save them. By rights, I shouldn't meddle, but you are a captain I have never encountered before, and your bounty team is also unique. There's something I have to remind you of."

"Huh?" Raine frowned.

"Sir, you've already killed three Dragon Gods. If you continue, I'm afraid you'll anger the Dragon King God..."

"Dragon King God? What is that?"

"The Dragon King God is the most formidable ruler of the entire Dragon-class sea area!"
