Raine was no longer certain about what those shadows were, as they were too fast, and it would be too wasteful to use his Tiger Fang right now.

"Fancy, Olivia, stay close to me." Raine lowered his voice and activated his Scaly Dragon Form II and III, drawing two titanium-gold daggers.

Fancy and Olivia were puzzled. When they hadn't sensed any danger before, they had been yelling loudly. Now that they noticed Raine becoming alert, they actually became quiet.

Perhaps a sensible woman knows when to be playful and when to be obedient.

"White, slow down," Raine whispered.

Not far into the cave, the "monkeys" around them started becoming aggressive! Two monkeys darted out from behind Raine, aiming to scratch his face.

Raine slashed at them with one dagger in each hand, severing their necks!

Four or five "monkeys" flashed past, extending their claws toward White. White pounced on one of them, dodging the other three, and bit the one beneath him to death.

Raine carefully approached the "monkeys" and shone his flashlight on them. This time, he was certain that these creatures were definitely not monkeys.

These creatures were about a meter tall, with slender bodies and extremely hideous faces. Their brownish-black skin looked like it was rotting. Their eyes were completely black, with no discernible pupils or whites.

"What the hell is this? It's disgusting!" Raine frowned.

"The islanders said there were demons in the cave, maybe it's these things," Fancy suggested.

"The smell of rotting corpses we've been smelling seems to come from them," Olivia added.

"Rotting corpses are generally poisonous. White is immune to poison, Olivia, you protect Fancy and attack with weapons," Raine said, handing his daggers to Olivia and Fancy while he used his Star Fire Sword.

White slowed down, and the group waded through the water to continue forward.

During their journey, several more of these creatures ambushed them, but Raine and Olivia's strength made them not much of a threat.

The path ahead started to widen, and the strange sounds grew louder. The stench of decay had become almost unbearable.

At this moment, they reached a corner. As they turned, all three of them were stunned.

"Oh my God!" Olivia stared in shock, standing still.

Raine was also taken aback.

Ahead of them was a vast cave filled with those disgusting creatures, packed tightly into crevices, one next to another.

Fortunately, they didn't seem to notice Raine and the others, and even when the flashlight shone on them, they didn't react. Recalling their eyes, Raine speculated that they might be blind.

Moreover, in the center of this open space was a huge coffin.

The coffin was at least twenty meters long, lying solitary on a stone platform in the middle of the seawater.

"What kind of person needs such a huge coffin?" Raine frowned, "And how did they get such a large coffin in here?"

"Raine... what do we do now?" Fancy asked softly, holding Raine tightly.

Raine lowered his voice, "Let's retreat to the corner first."

They quietly moved back to the corner.

"Raine, let's leave. It's just a coffin," Olivia said, a little scared. The scene just now was disgusting. If all those strange creatures attacked at once, they might not be able to fend them off.

Raine furrowed his brows, "I'm thinking... these... I'll call them sea monkeys. They don't seem to dare to approach the coffin. Moreover, what kind of person needs such a huge coffin? What's inside the coffin?"

Fancy thought for a moment and said, "There won't be something even more terrifying inside, right? Like zombies or something..."

Raine looked at Fancy with frustration, "Can you stop being so pessimistic?"

Fancy stuck out her tongue, leaned against Olivia, and didn't dare to make a sound.

Raine calmed down and analyzed the situation carefully. "Even if there are zombies, White can handle them. Also, those sea monkeys are blind. I think we can give it a try. We came all the way here; we shouldn't leave without figuring this out. I saw that there was another passage ahead, and the wind seems to be coming from there. It means there's another exit. We'll check the coffin and leave through that exit."

Olivia's mouth hung open in horror, "You're not planning to... pass by all those sea monkeys, are you?"

"Exactly! You guys wait on the other side, and I'll open the coffin!" Raine didn't explain further, and the four of them returned to the corner.

This time, they moved very close to each other, taking cautious steps and not lifting their feet too high, afraid that the sound of water would disturb the sea monkeys.

Soon, they reached the center of the open space. At this point, countless sea monkeys surrounded them, still playing with each other, not yet noticing the intruders.

Raine tried to steady his breathing and approached the coffin. White led Fancy and Olivia toward the other passage.

Once Fancy and the others reached a safe position, Raine tried to slowly push the coffin lid open. Every time the lid made a scraping sound, they held their breath.

Fancy and Olivia stared intently at the sea monkeys' reactions, ready to sound the alarm at any moment.

The coffin was so large that it took Raine a while to finally reveal a gap. A foul smell immediately wafted out from inside.

"Damn it!" Raine quickly covered his nose and held his breath.

Fortunately, there were no zombies inside. Raine lifted the coffin lid with both hands and carefully placed it aside. He shone his flashlight into the coffin.

To his surprise, there really was a human-shaped skeleton inside. Judging from its shape, it was definitely a human corpse.

"Such a huge person? Did they die after transforming? But wait, only mutated creatures can transform, right? And when they do, their bones would change. But this skeleton is human-shaped. Could this be one of the legendary 'giants'?"

Raine had no answers. As the light moved upwards to the skull, Raine suddenly froze.

The skull was about the same size as Raine! It was normal for such a large person to have a big head, but when the light shone into the eye sockets, Raine gasped. There seemed to be something inside the skull!

Raine carefully leaned in for a closer look.

"Hmm? Round, what is this? Don't tell me it's another egg." Raine reached out to grab it, finally managing to take it out.

Upon seeing the object in his hand, Raine's eyes nearly popped out.

"No way! This... this is... a Sea God Fruit?"

A Sea God Fruit growing inside a skull?!
