[Six Formation Disk

Rank: Rankless!

Durability 100/100 (Can be destroyed through heavy impact)

Effect: A rare treasure that was created by Guardian's Ancestor, Night. These six disks are spiritually connected to each other. When the guardian inscribes magical rune designs on a single formation disk, the same magical rune designs will instantly appear on the other five disks]

"Impressive!" This was the only thing he could say. Whittaker didn't know much about formations, after all, but he could still infer that this treasure is unique.

After closing the inventory, he wanted to notify his family and friends about his current status. For example, Whittaker can't return home for now as he wanted to be trained in the path of formation by Elder Zachary, hence he couldn't return home for months.

'But, who knows how long it will take.' Whittaker internally thought.

Before he sends them messages or calls them, he checked the time, it was 2 a.m.

'I will talk to them sometime later!' He thought while yawning. His back hit the bed, head drowned in the soft, mellow pillow. Instantly, he fell asleep on the comfortable bed.

Elder Zachary and Nina, on the other hand, sat under the starry skies, looking at the beautiful silverish Moon that was getting tinted in a red hue.

"Zachy, should I wake him up? This only comes once a year and mostly it's hidden from the eyes of the mortals. He will be really happy and mesmerized when he sees the spirit world moon for the first time in his life." Nina asked permission to wake up Whittaker from her father.

The mystical Full Moon Night has begun. The Moon of the Awakened Continent was currently overlapping with the Moon of the Spirit world. Most people have never been able to witness the truth of this phenomenon. They were not blessed by the spirits of the spirit world, after all.

Only those blessed by the spirits were able to witness this scene. And, only those existing as a creature no human or spirit could sense that the spirit world moon had overlapped with the moon of the awakened continent.

"Nah, let it be. He has been training nonstop and has just fallen asleep. Let him sleep and rest. Tomorrow, he got to train too. It's better if he rests well." Zachary replied. As a responsible teacher, his student rest and health were far important than a momentary joy of life.

______________

----------------------

While Whittaker was comfortably sleeping in his bed, somewhere far away, in the depths of an enormous forest, his best friend was shivering in unbearable pain.

The forest was dense, flourishing with lives and enormous. A dense canopy of old and huge trees thurst into the skies, blocking out the reddish moonlight, serving as an impenetrable barrier to the spiritual aura being emitted out of the Scarlet Moon. In the depth of the forest, there exists a small lake, in-between which is a grayish cold stone. And, in the depth of the forest, the environment was completely shrouded in the veil of night, darkness.

The water around the stone was clear yet the part of the lake away from the stone was murky. A young child wearing white robes with silver patterns laid on top of the cold stone whose sides are tinted in moss-like green. His exposed pale hands and feet were covered in many ancient talismans. All these inscriptions were used to strengthen a seal.

This place was the vacant forest training ground located in the back mountain of Royal Frost Fall Academy.

Shadow knew that nobody uses training ground no.36 as an accident had occurred here. He also knew that the Negative absorption Stone – a treasure that will help him to reduce the pain – is placed in the lake located at the depth of training ground no.36.

Therefore, he decided to use this place to withstand the pain which reoccurs every year on the Full Moon Night. He didn't want others to see his miserable state or find the truth he had been hiding for so many years.

Shadow was certain that no one will come to this place. Every student knows that this place is haunted, after all. And their parents had completely forbidden them from entering the training ground no.36. And, especially the depth of this forest.

Calm winds bellowed, as the spirit moon completely overlapped with the moon of the awakened continent.

Inside of Shadow's body, there was a scroll. To be exact, it was a beautiful picture of a flowery mountain, drowned in a sea of chrysanthemum. Inside the sea of cherry petals, a man sat. He was 6.3 feet tall. His body was decorated with sets of well-defined muscled, chest so wide that embracing three girls at a time wouldn't be a problem while his skin was tinted in a bronze almost sun-like hue. He wore a golden set of equipment that covered most of his body. His features were extremely gentle and refined. With sword-like eyebrows and full-lips, the man looked otherworldly.

His eyes were closed, looking extremely peaceful. He seems to have become one with the picture.

This man was the King of wrath!

The cherry petal were soul calming leaves. When used in access, they were poisonous to any being. In simpler words, it was a poison used to drown the king of wrath in deep sleep!

The painting was a seal. And, the man was being sealed inside of it until Shadow becomes powerful enough to control it.

At that moment, in the physical world, strong winds bellowed from the east, furiously shaking the trees and their branches. The treetops swayed in the wind, creating ample openings that let enough Scarlet beams of moonshine to shine upon Shadow. The pale white youth looked mesmerizing after being dyed in a Scarlet hue, almost demonic.

When the wind bellowed in the forest, a spiritual wind raised in the painting and it swept past the man's face. The trees of the chrysanthemum trees rustled in his ears and his eyes snapped open. His eyes were darker than abyss yet dark gold glinted within them.
