"Where is the flute I gave to Yaya before?"

A Miao looked at him, and Yu Sihan raised his eyebrows in response. "Bring it out quickly."

"Little Demon."

Little Demon nodded, turned, and went upstairs.

The old and heavy wooden box was placed on the tea table. Yu Sihan held Yaya with one hand and took out the jade flute with the other.

"Ah-eh?" Yaya stretched out her hands to grab it.

Yu Sihan lightly touched her nose with the jade flute. "It's my gift to Yaya. Does Yaya like it?"

"Ah-ya!" Yaya waved her arms faster.

"She likes it!" Yu Sihan smiled at A Miao.

A Miao was unimpressed. "She is teething, so she wants to grab everything and stuff it into her mouth."

"Don't be jealous. Yaya just likes me." Yu Sihan ignored A Miao's dark expression and placed the flute against his lips.

When the clear flute began to play, A Miao's face changed.

"This is..." She could never forget it. She had heard the flute before!

It was the tune that had woken the giant turtle.

"Why can you play it?" She stood up.

The flute stopped abruptly.

"I could already play the flute before." Yu Sihan drew a beautiful flower with the jade flute. Yaya clapped her small hands. It was unclear whether she really understood or just happened to do so coincidentally.

"I'm asking you why you can play this tune?" A Miao didn't want to mind her daughter who was a drag.

Yu Sihan stuffed the flute into Yaya's arms. "I went back to look over what my ancestors left behind and found this music."

"Did your ancestors ever say what it is?" A Miao did not doubt what Yu Sihan said. Without something passed down from his ancestors, he could not have known of the existence of the treasure.

It was even more impossible for him to know how to get there, and the sea snake as well as the giant turtle... these must have been recorded by his ancestors.

"It's a long story." Yu Sihan looked at his watch. "Don't you eat dinner?"

A Miao closed her eyes. "I'm not hungry."

"But I'm hungry."

"Little Demon..." A Miao gritted her teeth as she spoke, "Ask auntie if dinner is ready."

"I don't want to eat your home cooking," Yu Sihan said with disgust on his face. "I want to go to a restaurant."

A Miao: "..."

An hour later, the two together with Yaya, who was sleeping in the stroller, were seated in a Szechuan Restaurant.

"Are you sure this is the most authentic?" Yu Sihan looked critically at his surroundings inside the private room.

A Miao was busy texting He Shishi, telling her not to come over, while she answered him, "You said you wanted to go to the restaurant with the best reputation. This is the most recommended online."

"You're lying!" Yu Sihan exposed her. "I also checked online. The most recommended one online is a small restaurant."

"Okay, let's go." A Miao stood up. "The small restaurant on the street is better than the ambiance here."

Yu Sihan picked up the chopsticks. "This place isn't bad. Right here!"

When they had eaten and drunk enough, they got into the car, whereupon Yaya woke up. After seeing Yu Sihan's face, she didn't want A Miao to hold her.

A Miao's stomach began to ache. Beside her, Yu Sihan said, "That's because you didn't eat just now."

"Now, you can say it." A Miao didn't want to argue with Yu Sihan or she might die of anger.

Just outside the restaurant door, he had called her "mom," so the waiter praised her for looking so young.

"Let's go and find a place."

A Miao had the driver drive them home. She would at least be more courageous and secure to face Yu Sihan at home.

"Hurry up and say it! Otherwise, you'll have to leave." A Miao gave him an ultimatum when they were finally seated in the living room once more.

Yu Sihan set Yaya down on the side and let her play with the ball by herself. "My ancestors left behind a book on which they recorded something about the treasures."

"So you knew how to find the treasures early on?" A Miao suddenly thought of something. "Then why did you wait so long before coming to us?"

"Because I was too young!" Yu Sihan pointed to his face. "I was just a child a few years ago."

Deep inside, A Miao sneered. "Except your face and height, you are nothing like a child."

"I've already told you some things mentioned in the book before, but now I'm going to tell you something you don't know." Yu Sihan poured himself a cup of tea as if he was the host. "When our ancestors landed on turtle island..."

To be exact, the giant turtles had rescued them from the sea. The giant turtles moved those people and the boats, which helped them survive the storm at sea. Then they discovered that only the giant turtles were not harmed by the poisonous gas at sea. That meant that they may not be able to leave for the rest of their lives.

"So they hid the treasures on the backs of the giant turtles." A Miao looked at him. "And then? They must have been able to leave eventually or they would have no descendants."

"They domesticated the giant turtles." Yu Sihan motioned as if he was going to play the flute.

A Miao stared, eyes widened in surprise. "You mean the giant turtles sent them out?"

"That's what my ancestors wrote in the book."

A Miao pondered for a moment, then her eyes gradually lit up.

"That is to say, there was one person who did not leave?"

That would explain why there was a flute to wake up the giant turtle. That must have been the descendant of those who stayed there. They had been living with the giant turtles.

"Ha ha!" Yu Sihan smiled. "I did say that you are very clever. You got it!"

Suddenly, A Miao looked at him suspiciously. "Was... that your ancestor?"

"Of course not." Yu Sihan glanced at her. "I doubt you are..."

"Me?" A Miao instinctively pointed to herself and then became quiet.

Yu Sihan took out a piece of candy from somewhere. Seeing that A Miao was not paying attention to him, he let Yaya lick it before throwing it into his own mouth. Yaya tasted sweetness but the sugar was gone now, so she reached for it, babbling, "E-e-i-i."

"Why are you saying it's me." A Miao thought Yaya was hungry. She took out a warm bottle and held the little baby.

Yaya took a sip and seemed to feel that it didn't taste right, then she pushed it away. A Miao tested the temperature and put the nipple in her mouth again, which made Yaya burst into tears.

"Yaya is a good girl!" A Miao forgot about continuing to ask Yu Sihan and wandered around the room with Yaya in her arms.

The culprit had swallowed the sugar and he now calmly said, "Because I have checked the other people. I could find some traces of their three previous generations. Except for you!

"Only your mother's surname is Xia, and your father's name is unknown."

A Miao was busy soothing Yaya as she casually retorted. "But there is no evidence to prove that it was my ancestor."

"Starting from my father, we'd been looking for you descendants, and we identified all of the others more than thirty years ago." Yu Sihan looked at her. "The only missing surname was A."

Yaya had quieted down and she blinked at Yu Sihan with her big eyes.

"E-i-i!" She waved her little arms to get his hug.

Yu Sihan went over and took Yaya into his arms. A Miao, who got scared out of her mind, quickly supported Yaya. "Be careful."

"Now, do you believe it?" Yu Sihan sat down with Yaya in his arms. "You are the first person I found whose surname is A, so I suspect that your father may have come out of the sea."

A Miao didn't know how to face it. She had always wanted to find her father, but she had not expected to hear about him under such circumstances.

"You should be happy." Yu Sihan said coldly, "If my deduction is correct, the person who saved Shen Xinglan may be your father."

Well! If that was true, then Shen Xinglan's safety would be even more guaranteed!

"But these are just your guesses, and they can't be confirmed." A Miao didn't want to be too optimistic. The more hopeful she became, the easier it would be to get disappointed.

Yu Sihan shrugged. "I've already said everything concerning you, now it's time to listen to my business."

"What are you going to do?"

"I will teach Yaya to play the flute."

"No." A Miao refused without hesitation.

Yu Sihan's expression slowly changed—the beautiful and tender face of the teenager was stained with a cold look. A Miao shivered, knowing that was not good…

"I said I will teach her, not that I want to." Yu Sihan stood up. In his arms, Yaya had not felt anything wrong with the atmosphere and was still patting his face happily.

"You... It's not convenient for you since you live so far away." A Miao lowered her voice, giving a hint to Little Demon who was behind her.

Little Demon's hand had been placed inside her pocket. If Yu Sihan dared to take Yaya with him, she would shoot him immediately.

"You don't need to worry about that. It's my problem." Yu Sihan put Yaya in A Miao's arms. "I'm just informing you."

Seeing that he was turning to leave, A Miao stopped him with a sharp voice. "Yu Sihan! I... I beg you... don't hurt Yaya."

"I will be the last person in the world to hurt her." Yu Sihan had walked to the door and he turned to look at A Miao. "As long as you don't stop me."

"Miss!" Little Demon supported A Miao who was about to fall down. "I'll call Dr. Le back."

A Miao pulled her. "I'm fine..." A Miao pulled her. "I'm fine..."

"Eh-ah?" Yaya, who was in A Miao's arms, was still shouting at the door as if she knew that Yu Sihan had left. She twisted her small mouth and was about to cry.

Little Demon could not help poking her. "How could you be kind to that guy? He's a big villain!"

"Eh-yaa!"

Yaya looked at Little Demon and then looked at A Miao. She yawned and snuggled into A Miao's arms.

A Miao sighed and went upstairs to sleep with the little baby in her arms, but her mind was still wondering about what Yu Sihan had said.

He Shishi rushed in early the next morning.

"How are you? Are you okay? Did that guy bully you?" She looked at A Miao and then at Yaya who was climbing on the carpet, then sighed with relief. "I said I would come with you, but you refused me so firmly. I have been so worried about you."

A Miao had already recovered and her face looked much better. "I'm okay. He has not achieved his goal, so he won't hurt me!"

"What on earth did he come for yesterday?"

"He..."

The waves beat against the side of the ship, and the endless black sea seemed to have no end. Wei Meng stood on the deck and looked up at the sky. Ding V stood behind her, wagging his tail.

"It's been three days." Shen I came over and looked up at the sky as well.

They had released a lot of seabirds, and Wei Meng had communicated with each of them hoping that the seabirds could bring back news of Shen Xinglan.

"Is there any news from Lil Xi?"

"No."

Lil Xi had installed sound detectors under the sea. Once the giant turtles appeared, they would catch the signal immediately.

"Something is flying over here," Ding V suddenly said.
