Hey everyone,
So I know I ghosted for like three months and I am sorry for that. Many of you thought that I dropped the book and honestly I almost did. So if you're still here and reading this, then Thank you and hope you read the rest.
Okay, so never really got that much support about the whole writing thing. My friends never really bothered to know what I was writing about or anything (and I have a pretty big friends circle). A few of my friends knew that I am into writing and they encouraged me once or twice to write but that was it. Whenever I tried to ask them to read something I have worked on, they were ready to give thousands of excuses. Apart from them, my parents didn't understand English well so they never understood what I was writing or what I was doing on my phone all the time. Then I started to notice that the readers are dropping my fanfic and my OG book (maybe that's not true but I thought this at that time because there was a conflict of our MC's love interest). So as you can imagine these things doesn't help with already low self-confidence. I was feeling depressed and demotivated. So, one day I just woke up and deleted all the writing-related stuff from my phone. Like seriously, I deleted the apps, the writing notes and everything. I was literally sulking for a month after that. Well, needless to say, my mom noticed and asked me about it. Even though I didn't tell her everything she knew something was up so she forced me to re-read the old books I had and write whatever came to my mind. She told me, "Try again."
So I did. I started writing a new fresh book "The legend of Karma." After two chapters of that book, one of my old childhood friends told me that she read my new book and really liked it. Well, it was just a one-person but it meant a lot to me. Then a couple of days ago I thought why not check my page and not gonna lie, I reluctantly downloaded it back. And O my God. There were like tons of reviews and comments from you all. I almost thought that I am not going to finish this book but then I read all of your comments and honestly I felt so good like I-can-cry-type of good. So whoever still here and reading this, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You have no idea how much this means to me.
I know this whole thing I wrote was pretty dramatic but it was true and I thought you guys deserve to why I was gone for so long. Thanks again for sticking around. I know many of you are out of patience but I promise you, I WILL finish this book. Sorry again.
