When Lilia opened the door to her room, Tina turned around with a smile. She froze when she saw all the Aldis family enter the room.
“Tina-san.”
Tina stood up hurriedly as my father opened his mouth. She straightened her posture but my father laughed and waved his hand.
“Don’t worry, just make yourself comfortable. Sit down.”
Tina sat down with a hesitant “Yes.” My father said to Tina, keeping a little distance between them.
“I heard that Theo told you yesterday that he had feelings for you.”
“…..Yes.”
Tina glanced at me. I think she wants me to help her, but I kept silent.
“So, what do you think? If it’s okay with you, I’d like to talk to your father, Baron Breha, about it.”
Tina tilted her head, as if she did not understand what this meant. I thought it would be a pity to let her talk without understanding, so I gently approached Tina.
“Tina, I’m going to give you an extreme example.”

“That…….I’m glad you feel that way, but…….We just met yesterday, so I can’t answer. Please let me think about it.”

My father nodded and put his hand on Theo’s head, as if he had imagined Tina’s answer.
“There you have it. Wait a while.”
“Yes…….”
Theo nodded firmly, though he looked a little disappointed.
The family members turned to leave as if the conversation was over. Lilia tried to watch them go.
S–Lilia. You forgot what you were supposed to do.
I hurriedly called out to my father, and the whole family turned to look at me.
“I would like to visit Tina’s parents’ house on this vacation, is that okay with you?”
“Hmm……..Cross. Which town?”
“It’s about a week’s ride by carriage from here. North.”
“Oh, that town. Lilia alone is indeed…….And it would be a nuisance for the duke’s family to go there suddenly.”
That doesn’t sound like father would agree but he continued.
“As you can see, I’m not very comfortable with two women going alone, and if it’s okay with you, I’d like you to accompany them…”
“All right.”
The answer was immediate. I was at a loss for words because I thought he would not accept.
“What’s the matter? Are you that surprised?”
“Yeah, well…….I have to admit, I’m surprised.”
“I’m at least worried about my little sister.”
Her brother smiled awkwardly and when Lilia saw this, she gently turned away.
“What’s with that reaction?”
“Well, Tina. How much did you finish?”
“Wait! What do you really mean?”
Her brother’s cheeks tensed up, but Lilia paid no attention to it. She treats her brother as if he were not there. Tina seemed to be confused, but Lilia encouraged her to open the material. Her brother seemed to be saying something for a while, but eventually gave up and told her father.
“Father. I’m going to go take care of some business.”
“Yeah, okay. I’ll help you.”
“Lilia, I have some business to attend to in a town on the way. I have to stay there for a couple of days. It’ll take about two weeks is that okay with you?”
Lilia looked up at her brother’s question, and then at Tina. Tina nodded that she was fine, probably sensing the meaning of his gaze.
“Yes, I’m fine.”
“All right. I’ll make the arrangements, so you can relax for a while longer.”
“I’d like a ride in the carriage with you…….”
Tina hurriedly said to my brother, and he looked at my father after his eyes widened in slight surprise. My father nodded and replied.
“Oh, that’s fine. You can make yourself at home.”
Father said to Tina, who bowed her head deeply in thanks.
My days at the Aldis mansion are leisurely. I wake up in the morning, finish breakfast, and study with Tina in Lilia’s room until lunch.
After lunch, I would take a walk around the house or watch my brother practice. Tina, on the other hand, was often invited out by my mother or Theo. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me that she was sitting in the garden drinking tea and talking.
“People ask me about Lilia a lot. They seem very worried.”
