Mirania, who was flying unstoppable, stopped the broomstick over the vast open forest. Her gaze was sharp as if she had spotted an enemy.

A troubled voice escaped her lips, “Where should I go?”

She unpacked her luggage, the necessity that Chera hadn’t taken care of. It was a magic compass.

The Great Witch was an existence that was in charge of the balance of the world along with humans, wolves, bats, and fairies, but magic wasn’t omnipotent.

Whether it’s determining direction or creating space-expanding objects, such convenient magic has usually been developed by wizards rather than witches.

Mirania used the compass and said to herself, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been there, so I should remember it.”

‘I shouldn’t have gone alone.’

If Bibi was here, he would have been a guide, but he went off in search of a mate and has not been seen for days.

She hadn’t even reached the Human Continent yet, and feeling anxious about having already lost her way, Mirania set off again. No, she was about to depart.

A long shadow cast over Mirania’s broom.

‘Was it cloudy?’

However, it was too clear and small to be a shadow of a cloud.

Mirania’s eyes widened as she slightly looked at the sky. Leverianz, with his wings outstretched, was looking down at her with his arms crossed.

As the black wings flapped, the shadow changed as the wings moved.

Mirania’s silver hair fluttered lightly due to Leverianz’s wings. His bright red lips smiled at Mirania.

It was the smile that the witches praised for being beautiful, but unlike the lips drawing a smile, his frozen eyes glowed red.

“Where are you going, Mirania?”

Gulp—

Mirania rubbed her wrists, feeling the goosebumps on her skin.

“It was fortunate that I was looking at Mirania’s room just in time, but I almost missed it,” said Leverianz.

Grumbling nonchalantly, Mirania was unknowingly scolded.

“What do you mean by missing out? There are herbs to gather, so I was on my way to collect them. Feel free to follow me if you have any questions.”

When I mumbled and didn’t tell him the real, Leverianz’s gaze turned strange.

There was a sudden uproar below. The bushes shook as she lowered her gaze. Mirania’s lips twitched.

“Did you drag Grecan all the way too?”

‘Certainly, a beast would always be a beast. If he had such a sharp hunch, would he follow after me right away?’

Mirania’s trip to the second continent was, of course, to find the whereabouts of Alice, but Mirania, who had about a teaspoon of desire to get away from her dreadful parenting life, was spinning in her head.

“I didn’t bring him here.”

Leverianz’s wings continued to flutter as he looked down with a sour stare.

Swoosh, swoosh—

Swish—

The slow flapping of wings and the sound of the bushes rustling pricked Mirania’s ears one after another.

Just by being there, Grecan and Leverianz were pressuring Mirania from the ground and the sky, respectively.

‘Both of them are like a leech.’

Sweat beaded on Mirania’s forehead, who remained indifferent to the threat of Balkan, the leader of the Wolf Tribe, and Scarlet, the Head of the Bat Clan.

Leverianz whispered in a sweet voice, “And Mirania, I don’t think that luggage was suitable for collecting herbs.”

Mirania glanced behind her, feeling the sting of Leverianz’s words.

It was obviously a suitcase that was quite large, but she shrugged, pretending nothing was wrong.

“Did you think that all herbs are the size of a finger? Some of them are the size of a child.”

“You’re not going anywhere?” asked Leverianz.

Mirania straightened her composure as if to say something.

“You wanted to catch me leaving? As the head of the Witch Clan, where am I going? I have to go to the Witch Forest.”

“My lovely and innocent Mirania.”

As Leverianz’s expression softened, Mirania wondered if her excuse worked, but she didn’t take her eyes off him.

This was because these two guys, whom she raised with all her might, are tenacious and would stab her in the back even if they were fine for now.

In particular, Leverianz, whose brain was clearly twisted compared to the naive Grecan, I wouldn’t be relieved even when he’s asleep.

Even while sleeping, I felt strange, and when I opened my eyes, I was sure Leverianz was staring at me.

‘It seems insidious and shady,’ Mirania muttered inwardly.

“I understand that Mirania goes that far. But you look like you had something to do, so I’ll wait patiently and prettily.”

Then, as Leverianz really turned around, Mirania blinked, ‘What was that guy doing?’

Doesn’t he seem to be aware of my inner thoughts and try to be considerate?

Mirania was moved by the feeling of being a mother, facing a grown-up child who earned money from a job and was filial.

Leverianz, who had turned her halfway around, gave a gentle smile as he turned his head sharply behind Mirania.

Not until Leverianz grumbled in a snarky tone, “But you’re sweeter than usual. There’s nothing stranger than that.”

As soon as the words were finished, Leverianz pounced on Mirania.

Whoosh!

Mirania, who managed to avoid him, was enraged at the behavior of Leverianz, who chased after her again before she had time to say anything.

“Even if I treat you kindly, you’re terrible!”

Stabbing her in the back pretending to reassure her was, of course, like Leverianz, who’s insidious.

As Mirania gnashed her teeth, Leverianz replied in a strangely more delighted voice, “Yes, that’s more like Mirania!”

“That’s enough. Why are you following me?”

Mirania ramped up her speed to the maximum allowed by the broom.

Her pace has increased. She even tried the zigzag tactic, but since it was indeed a winged tribe, Leverianz relentlessly followed.

“I’m just wondering where Mirania was going while doing that.”

Mirania was frustrated by his nonchalant reply.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

As Mirania said soothingly, Leverianz tilted his head.

In the meantime, Mirania reached out and tried to hold tightly to the broom, and with strength, she soared upward.

“Then why are you trying to avoid me like this?”

“That’s…”

“Look, you can’t even talk.”

If Mirania mentions that she’s going to the second continent, he would follow her to the end of the continent.

Before leaving, I thought it would be better to keep him by my side and watch him, but this persistence makes me think again.

‘I’m afraid everything would be ruined if I take him with me.’

“That, it’s just…” Mirania tried to explain.

“Don’t force yourself to think of it.”

Mirania’s eyebrows twitched at Leverianz’s relaxed tone.

Wasn’t that tone a complete denunciation of a witch?

In fact, Leverianz wasn’t wrong, but Mirania, who was offended by his sarcastic and rude tone, rushed solemnly while facing the strong wind.

“Are you forcing yourself to think of an excuse? It’s because I’m worried that you’ll get hurt.”

“You worry about everything, I won’t get hurt.”

Even after saying that, as if thinking that Mirania was doing it to avoid the situation, Leverianz even smiled mournfully.

Mirania was seething.

“Will you tell me the truth?”

Flying on a broomstick, Mirania glanced back at him. When their eyes met, Leverianz smiled.

“As much as you like.”

Mirania shouted loud in his face, “You are so annoying!”

Startled, Mirania’s face flashed with embarrassment.

‘It shouldn’t be like this…’

This was what I originally thought of.

‘I want to have some time alone for a while.’

Mirania’s angry and annoyed heart became honest on its own.

Just as time couldn’t be reversed with magic, words once spoken couldn’t be undone.

Leverianz hardened as he smiled, “What did you say?”

As if he forgot to move his wings, he almost falls off, then rises again.

‘Would I be able to fix this?’

“… What I said was wrong.”

An expression that doesn’t work at all

“Well, I didn’t even know I would say something like this.”

“Are you calling that an excuse now?”

A face that makes it look worse. Mirania nudged back.

“Eh, tsk tsk.”

It was an unexpected accident, but it has already happened.

Leverianz’s reaction was disturbing, Mirania flew away quickly during the slack on his attitude.

Leverianz watched her back as she receded and ran his hand through his hair.

“Am I bothering you?”

“This me?”

There was a faint tremble in his voice, as if he had heard shocking words. His honey-like hair was gently entangled between his white and long fingers.

Leverianz’s round eyes gleamed bright red.

“It’s ridiculous.”

Mirania was startled when the flapping sound of wings grew.

He’s already chasing after me? When I looked sideways, just in case, I could hear the sound of the wind being sucked into the wings.

At a much faster pace than before, Mirania bit her lips.
