With Mendoza handling the ball, he passes it to Marquez. Marquez drives with the ball and crossovers back, leaving behind his defender who is Mark. Marquez shoots the ball but misses. Managaytay puts the ball back the ball where it should belong, through the rim. A putback with a slam.

Fajardo inbounds to Cesar who now handles the ball as their coach commands him to do.
On their side of the court, Cesar handles the ball with the big men going to the top of the three-point line. Cesar passes the ball to Fajardo and goes the opposite way, using the screen of Canillo. Fajardo then passes the ball over to Cesar. Cesar shoots and scores.

Mendoza dribbles the ball across halfcourt. He then passes the ball to Villanueva and uses the screen of Manalo, by the high post, while cutting into the paint. Justin covers well the passing lane, making Mendoza screen for Managaytay. Managaytay uses the screen of Mendoza across the paint. Managaytay’s defender, Fajardo, goes around the screen with agility so that he can catch up to his man. Fajardo closes the passing lane as he fronts Managaytay where he leans in front of his man by the low post, making it difficult for a pass to come. Villanueva passes the ball to Manalo at the high post who he then quickly passes it to Managaytay at the low post. Managaytay is in a favorable position to have a pass inside and he quickly hammers the ball home with a slam while Fajardo has little to no power to stop the giant of Charlemagne.

Cesar again handles the ball across the court. The big men are at the elbows of the high post. He passes the ball to Canillo and uses the screen of Fajardo. But suddenly, Marquez pokes the ball out of Canillo’s hands and goes after it.
Marquez grabs the ball ahead of Canillo and sprints across the court. As he lays it up, Cesar tries to block the ball. Cesar misses to block the ball but Marquez also misses with his layup, bouncing on the rim and out. The both of them go after the ball but Cesar gets the better of them.
Cesar grabs the ball, sprints, and dribbles across the court just as everybody is going in his direction. He goes past them and gets closer to the rim. He soars with his two hands on the ball, pulling it back behind his head. Managaytay soars with him as he stretches his arms high like tall trees. But Cesar then proceeds to slam it home, posterizing Managaytay. Cesar hangs and swings at the rim while Managaytay falls down.

Cesar holds out his hand towards the fallen giant but Managaytay swats it away. Instead, Mendoza and Manalo comes to help the big man up.
Managaytay looks at Cesar and says, “We will win this game, we won’t lose to you again.”
“We will win this game too, we won’t back down,” says Cesar as he jogs across the court.
Managaytay smirks and says to himself, “We will see.”
Manalo inbounds the ball to Mendoza, and Managaytay goes ahead of them across the court.
Mendoza dribbles across the court and passes the ball to Villanueva. Mendoza cuts towards the paint as he uses the screen of Managaytay. Justin lags behind Mendoza and Cesar sags off Villanueva so that he can compensate for the deficiency of the defense. Villanueva sees this and shoots a three and Cesar tries to deny it, but it is fruitless to catch up to something that is long gone.
The ball goes in the air and Cesar fails to block it by a long shot. He just watches the ball as it arches towards the rim. The ball hits the rim and in.
Cesar looks at Villanueva and says, “You got me.”

No timeouts are now allowed as it is under two minutes; nevertheless, the battle continues.
Cesar handles the ball across the court with a brisk pace. Cesar goes to the wing as Justin goes to the corner ahead of him. He then passes the ball to Justin who is in the corner, just inside the three-point line. Justin has an open shot because of the screen of Mark given to the low post defender at the low post, that’s when he shoots the ball. Arching towards the rim, the ball bounces off the rim and out.
Managaytay rebounds the ball and passes it ahead to Marquez. Marquez leads the fastbreak with Cesar chasing, zeroing in on him. Marquez stops and makes a pull up jumper. Cesar, only a few feet away, jumps to contest the shot. Only, that Marquez didn’t shoot, it is a pump fake. Marquez lets Cesar get past him and shoots. As he releases the ball, he feels a tug against it from behind him. The ball releases from his hands but nowhere aiming towards the rim. The ball stays in the air until Cesar immediately grabs the ball.
“Good job, Justin!”
Marquez sees Justin get past him and shakes his head. He runs across the court to help the defense.
Cesar zooms towards the rim as he crossovers and then behind-the-backs Manalo, going past him. Cesar is in the open field and he jumps for a one-handed dunk. Managaytay jumps alongside him, with his hand outstretched towards the ball. Cesar proceeds to dunk the ball; instead, the strong hand of Managaytay got the better of the two. Cesar can’t force his way against Managaytay's strong right hand and the ball gets out of his hand. Luckily, Cesar lands on his feet, preventing him from getting injured again.
Manalo rebounds the ball when the Charlemagne Coach shouts some instructions.
“Slow down the pace! We’re leading the score!”
So Manalo passes the ball to Mendoza.
Cesar signals to his teammates to stay calm and keep the pace normal so that they can get a breather. And Cesar now switches position with Justin in defense as in the offense. Cesar is unto Mendoza now.
Mendoza crosses the ball through the half-court line and the struggle continues.
Mendoza immediately passes the ball to Villanueva and rushes towards the paint while using the screen of Managaytay. Cesar covers the passing lane very well and Mendoza opts to screen for Manalo. Canillo lags behind Manalo who runs across the paint, while using the screen of Mendoza, at the low block. Seeing this, Villanueva passes the ball to Manalo. Manalo, in turn, shoots with a quick hook shot. The ball goes in the basket.

Villanueva lags behind as he is being hindered by the screen. Fajardo then passes the ball, with an overhead, to Cesar. Cesar catches and shoots, earning a bucket.

Managaytay inbounds the ball to Mendoza and briskly they go across the halfcourt.

Seeing that the passing lane towards the wing is defended, Mendoza passes the ball to Managaytay at the high post. Cesar tips the ball but it goes to Marquez who is guarded by Justin. Marquez tries to shoot but Justin doesn’t buy it, he sees that his defender didn’t take the bait so he instead bounce passes the ball back to Mendoza.
When Mendoza catches the ball, Cesar hounds in on him. Mendoza turns his back against him and tries his best to keep the ball safe. He dribbles to his left and then to his right but Cesar is still hounding in on him, so he passes the ball to Villanueva. Villanueva then quickly passes the ball to Managaytay at the high post. Managaytay then quickly attacks the rim against the body of Fajardo. Like before, Fajardo first allows Managaytay to body him hard and in the second, he sags off. This results in Managaytay being slightly out of balance and making a hasty layup as the shot clock buzzes.

The ball hits the rim and Fajardo jumps for a rebound. Surprisingly, Managaytay jumps higher and gets the rebound.
With the shot clock reset, Managaytay kicks the ball out to Marquez and then to Mendoza.
“Don’t foul! We still have time!” Coach Perez shouts. “Keep up the defense and box out that giant!”
When Mendoza gets the ball, Cesar hounds in on him again. Mendoza pivots and pivots until he dribbles to his right and dribbles back from Cesar. With little room, he passes the ball to Marquez. Marquez tries to shoot and still, Justin doesn’t try to block. But this time, Marquez shoots for real.
The ball leaves his palms and arches towards the rim. Everyone looks at the ball going towards its goal, holding their breath, along with Mark.
‘Will we win? I hope we do,’ Mark thought. ‘Please, God. Don’t let the ball sink into the basket.’
The ball hits the rim and out. Fajardo boxes Managaytay out and the both of them jump. Fajardo nabs the ball into his hands as Managaytay is out of reach from the ball.

Fajardo passes the ball to Cesar who is ahead. Sprinting ahead, Cesar tries to lay the ball up so that it would be a sure score. But Managaytay suddenly overshadows him out of nowhere, blocking the ball and bouncing it off the board.

Justin catches the ball and he tries to shoot but someone jumps behind him, prompting him to dribble it out. Cesar goes to the point of the three-point line and Justin passes the ball to him. Cesar tries to shoot and Villanueva jumps to block it. Cesar, instead, dribbles past him to shoot. But Managaytay is in front of him, so he thinks that it's not a good idea to shoot. He sees that Mark is open at the three-point wing so he passes the ball to him.
“SHOOT IT, MARK!!!” Cesar says.
