Fifteen minutes ago…

Inside of Polemos's private spaceship…

Click! Click! Click!

A bunch of random buttons that Albion did not really know what they do were pressed.

At the same time, Cao Wudi stood on the side with his expression turn increasingly terrible to behold with many creases as he watched Albion fiddle around.

"Master, I think it is best if we find a pilot who actually knows what he is doing…" Cao Wudi suggested carefully.

Rumble!

Suddenly, the private spaceship's engine ignited, propelling the spaceship into space.

At the same time, a map appeared on-screen, outlining the route to Silvercove City on Earth from Damocles.

"Aha!" Albion exclaimed before he said, "Why do we need a pilot? We're doing just fine. Have a little faith, will ya?"

'Will faith save my life?' Cao Wudi retorted in his mind.

Sometime later, the spaceship accelerated and entered the Earth's atmosphere in no time, causing the surface to heat up from friction with the air.

"Master… Don't you think we are entering the atmosphere a little too fast? Maybe we should slow down a little?" Cao Wudi suggested, thinking he would probably die if the spaceship ends up crashing at full speed.

However, shortly after, he regretted his suggestion.

His master does not even know the functions of each button. How would he know how to decelerate the spaceship?

"Hm, I suppose we are going a little too fast. Alright, give me a moment," Albion casually before noticing a big, round, and red button that looked like the red traffic light for stopping.

"On second thoughts, the current pace is goo—"

Vroosh—!

Before Cao Wudi could finish speaking, Albion pressed the red button protected underneath its transparent glass casing before he instantly disappeared along with the main pilot seat, ejected from the spaceship.

"Eh?"

Albion's mind blanked for a moment at the sudden change in scenery as his body flipped through the air. Sometimes, he saw the sky. At other times, he saw the earth.

"Ah… so that was the emergency eject button…" Albion realized before he softly muttered, "This is kind of bad, isn't it?"

Of course, he was not talking about himself.

His True Immortal Body at 43-fold granted him physical strength equivalent to his True Immortal Cultivation and made his body as tough as grade-7 materials.

Only weapons forged by grade-8 materials and Golden Immortals could harm him.

However, it was a different story entirely if he was to talk about Cao Wudi…

Back inside the spaceship, Cao Wudi glanced at the missing pilot seat with a blank look before his face paled and went full-panic mode in the next moment.

"Master? Masterrrrrr!"

Present time

"Actually, what?"

"Boss, please don't keep us in suspense."

The surrounding gang members urged Albion to continue as he vividly recalled what happened a moment ago.

"Ahem, don't worry about it," Albion coughed before asking casually, "What's the current situation of the gang?"

The gang members were pretty bummed that Albion did not explain further before he changed the topic, but once the question was raised, they immediately put on serious looks.

"Boss, the situation is like this…"

Reagan Declan took the initiative to explain everything that had happened to the three gangs in the past two days to Albion.

After listening to everything, Albion muttered, "So we are back to square one, huh? No matter. Now that I am here, reclaiming everything will be as simple as taking candies from a kid."

"It's good that you are back, boss! Those people from the Metti Gang have been too haughty!"

"Right! With the boss on our side, we can finally teach them a lesson!"

"Long live the boss!"

"Just call me Young Master Albion," Albion instructed as the gang members cheered in celebration. They were all—well, almost all of them were excited by his return.

"Yes, Young Master Albion!"

"Yes, Young Master Albion!"

They shouted in unison before Albion noticed a gang member, who did not share the same excitement as the rest of the three gangs, sitting in the corner with an absent look.

Albion gestured for silence and made his way over to the gang member before asking the person, "What's wrong? Are you not happy with my return?"

"Of course, I am! It's just that…" The gang member did not explain further before letting out a long and drawn-out depressed sigh, "Haiz…"

"What's wrong with him?" Albion turned to the side and inquired from another gang member wearing a black cap.

"Well, it's like this, boss…" The black-capped gang member proceeded to explain, "After we lost everything, some of us managed to find some odd jobs to support the gang. Michael Dao here managed to score a job at the morgue."

"The morgue, huh?" Albion muttered.

He did not doubt that many people must have died during the first outbreak of the Dimensional Rift in Silvercove—even if the death count was just a fraction of the city's total population.

"So he lost someone he knew, huh?"

"Yes, boss." The black-capped member nodded before adding, "To be exact, he saw his ex-girlfriend's body brought into the morgue the other day."

"She was quite a b*tch for dumping him without warning and leaving him for a wealthy man 2 years ago. However, it seems our brother, Michael Dao, here, still has yet to move on. I think it was after that incident that he joined the underworld business…"

"I see… so he is a cuck—Ahem, I mean oh, no! That's unfortunate!" Albion coughed before giving the person a sympathetic look.

In times like this, he should console the person, right? Well, he did not know how to comfort a person. Cheer him up? That could work.

Albion patted Michael Dao's shoulder before cracking a joke, "Ahh… your ex was still giving you the silent treatment, eh?"

"…"

"No? Hmm, the cold shoulders?"

"…"

"Oh, I know. She ghosted you?"

"…"

Very shortly, Michael Dao broke into tears and began weeping, causing Albion to furrow his brows with dark lines while rubbing his forehead with distress.

Seems like he had no talent in this field.

"Boss… That was so dark and mean… but I like it, bahaha!" Reagan Declan guffawed before waltzing over and giving Michael Dao a good smack on the back.

"When are you going to stop sulking over the harlot's death, Michael? Your feelings are wasted on her. Get over it, mate."
