Primera’s birthday party is coming up.
Naturally, the guests would be the royalty and aristocracy of neighboring countries, as well as their own country’s nobility and their families.
A Princess’s birthday party would normally be a country-wide festival, but as expected in the case of Primera-sama, it would only be a large party.
It is still a terrifying list of guests though!
If I were only doing this, I’d have more time to prepare documents and papers, but with my social debut and my parents’ house in the mix, it’s been tough.
But first, I have an appointment with Dean Dayne-sama.
I’ve been looking forward to it, you know?
I want to support that puppy boy’s first love, of course, with all my heart!
Because, alongside Primera-sama, a knight of the Protectorate who just loves her and only her, wouldn’t it be moe?
According to a recent letter, he said he has his sights set on a gift and he would call a merchant to hold it, but he’d really like to go to the store and see it for himself.
Also, when I suggested that he read a strange tale of adventure, which Primera has been enjoying lately, Dean Dayne was really into it.
Arder Saul said that he was surprised to see a boy who had been training as an apprentice knight become so absorbed in reading a book.

By the way, of course, Primera is not of adult age and has not debuted in society….
But as she is royalty, she had no choice but to show up for her birthday party.
This is not uncommon, but in this country, pre-debutantes are required to wear masks when they attend a party.
This is meant to protect the poor children from being bothered by troublesome adults with a taste for young girls and boys.
Every masked attendee is allowed to be accompanied by a family member or a guard from a noble family. Of course, an application for a companion is required, in which case, no obi swords are allowed.
I have confirmed that Dean Dayne-sama is planning to attend the party.
And if Arder Saul-sama is also attending the party, he must be planning to attend with his brother.
They really are close brothers!
Speaking of siblings, my younger brother was surprised but satisfied that I was going to make my debut as a socialite and take over the baronial family, myself.
He apologized to me for having to escort me, who made her debut as a socialite first, and said, “Still, I’m very happy to go to the party with you, sister! I’m looking forward to the day!” So the letter said so. They are angels.
So, although I’m the one attending to the party plans, basically all I have to do is act as a maid-in-waiting, the other maids and the maids of the princess’s palace are doing their best, so I have more free time.
The head butler and under-bulters seem to be in favor of my debut as a socialite. I appreciate that the male-staff know what I’m going through and how busy I am, but won’t they stop giving me the thumbs up without saying a word?
In a princess’s palace with way too many nice middle-aged men (this selection is based on His Majesty’s prejudice that young men are more likely to do something to Primera), it’s nice that they think of me as a daughter, but it’s annoying! I seriously don’t want you to quietly leave a book of manners for noble ladies or dance lessons in my room.
Well, Primera-sama is also pleased with my debut in the social world, and I can’t show her my clumsy appearance, and I still do want to look good for my brother…
But I digress. It’s not good to stay distracted.
Anyway, I’ve already got some free time today. So, I should to go to the place where I promised to meet Dean Dayne-sama.

When I went out to meet him, Dean Dayne-sama was still like a puppy.
That seemed to be extremely excited too, and I was hallucinating that his tail was wagging like it was about to fall off!
I even felt as if Arder Saul-sama behind him was holding the leash…….
I wondered why Arder Saul-sama was there, but it seems that the kind older brother listened to Dean Dayne-sama’s selfish request since Dean Dayne-sama didn’t want to bring a knight escort with him.
