Katsurandom This is the actual continuation, the interlewd is an alternate time-line kinda thing.

So yeah...

Elizabeth and Rossie landed in the apartment bedroom they had at the MPI, the room was dark, and as soon as they materialized in the room a series of alarms seemed to start sounding.

She could feel the mana within the wards activate, and for a second she was worried they were in the wrong place, she didn't have the skill back for long.

Had she messed up the coordinates? It shouldn't be possible, not after [Devouring] that [Guardian of Space] girl, her knowledge about space magic was unparalleled under their age.

And her mastery over the [Shadows] couldn't be overshadowed by anyone, not even [Echidna] had her talents, she didn't have proof of this of course, but she also didn't have doubts about it.

She was [The Inheritor], she was [The Shadow Empress], and she was [The One Who Devoured] itself, that was proof enough.

But then again, the wards seemed to be about to flare, should she need to do something about it? She could summon her [Slaves] of course; it would waste some mana and fray her [Soul].

...Actually, she didn't need to sacrifice her [Soul] did she? She had the most talented [Healer] around under her [Command], "Rossie? Care to do something about this?" Elizabeth said.

"Yes, [Master]." And Rossie answered in kind, a mere flick of her mana was all it needed for the [Wards] to turn off, "It seems your [Mana Signature] wasn't expected within the room, so the ward defense was triggered."

Her mana wasn't expected within the room? It was [Her Domain] why wouldn't she be allowed here?

"That seems like a poor design." Elizabeth said with distaste, who was the one to craft such a crappy design? Every [Ward] should always be ready to welcome her. She was [The Empress] after all.

"I'm sorry...This lowly one is at fault, punish me as needed." Rossie quickly said as she kneeled in front of her.

Her blouse was wrong though, she couldn't peek at her like this, and she needed to fix this immediately. "Let's go to [My] bedchambers." She said as her own clothes were being covered in shadows and altered to match her stature as [Empress].

Gone was the mundane school uniform she was [Forced] to dress with, instead she was dressed in a mate black dress that stuck to her figure, it had an open back that showed her back and ended just a few centimeters above her waist, her front had a very generous cleavage that allowed the world to bask in her beauty, her top was sleeveless and it stayed in place by a single string that went over her neck.

The bottom of her dress had a slit that went almost to her waist on the right, granting the world the sight of her leg but giving her a range of movement no different from her usual skirt, even if the dress seemed to be on the style that stuck to the figure, since it was made with her [Shadows] it would mold itself to her anyway.

And if someone was lucky enough to see more? Well, she was a generous [Empress], as for her slave?

Rossie would soon enough dress appropriately enough, "Come [Sl...]Rossie, we need to check you up." Had she tried to call Rossie in some special way?

What kind of words would she use to refer to her [Girlfriend] that started with SL?

Sister Love? Slender Love? Sleeky Little Girl?

"Get into the bed." She [Commanded] the pink-haired and then she focused her mana on her.

Why was she examining her anyway?

She was as always had been, pink-haired, her eyes seemed to be somewhat gone, as if she was under the influence of some kind of drug... Was Rossie into drugs?

Not that she was aware, not that any drug would have an effect on the girl, she was a [Healer], most of the time she was under the effects of her own [Healing] so most drugs would be burned out of the system.

[Catherine] had made it obligatory that any [Healer] would learn to cast those types of spells first, what with her whole trauma about being [Slaved]. Really, it was her fault for not being at the [Top] of the food chain.

It was [Right] for those with the [Privilege] and [Power] to subjugate those bellow them, it was her [Birthright] as a scion of...

Of...

Whose Scion was she?

The Saintsworths? No, she wasn't a Saintsworths, not really.

The Starbright? She was the first of her name, no one really knew of a family with this name.

The Starlight? Her Mother wasn't a noble even if she acted like a spoiled one.

The Brighton? That family was a charade her Father made up to protect her former past.

Then was it the Ashcroft? She never really spoke about them, besides that was more of a Chloe thing.

Then whose [Birthright] was she using as an excuse?

Rossie was [Hers], of that there was no doubt, she could [Feel] it within the [Core] of the girl, should she attempt to leave, then she would [Break].

Should someone attempt to [Steal] her, the other girl would [Break] before leaving her, should she [Choose] to leave her, the girl would [Die], not a physical death, but one of the soul.

And that was okay, [ROSSALINA SINGH WAS HERS ONLY], "NO!" Came the scream from her soul. Something within her [Soulscape] was recoiling, it was fighting against her train of thought.

It shone as a beacon of blue light from deep within the tower that stood in the middle of the ruined city, it was a small ember, but it was there.

Fighting against the overwhelming darkness that seemed to cover the place, and yet, she could also feel something [Else], a [Primal] instinct within the tower, something [Darker], something more [Draconic] that seemed to want her to [Eat] the other girl and leave only the parts that were convenient to her.

The parts that would grovel at her feet, the parts that would worship where she stood, the parts that would come at her beck and call.

"Eli-Eli? I'm sorry, I didn't...I thought...I...I..." Rossie seemed to be on the verge of tears, her eyes seemed to scream at the mere idea of being hated by her.

The parts that had resurfaced with such ease that it was almost as if the pink-haired girl was [Designed] to be a slave.

Yes, [She should grove-] "No, that's not. Not you Rossie, it's...." Elizabeth started saying.

But what was it?

What was this...[Feeling], this...[Desire]. She knew from where it was coming, she knew it deep within her [Core], something that dwelled in the darkness, something that she hadn't wanted to examine before.

Something that now had come bearing its head as soon as she allowed a [Connection] to solidify between her and Rossie.

"Rossie, cast your diagnosis magic on me, from within the [Soulscape] towards my [Core]," Elizabeth said, an undertone of [Command] in her, it felt...[Right].

"Yes, please don't hate me." Rossie flooded her with diagnosis mana, and she directed it, no. Elizabeth directed the spell and mana, it was almost as if she was the one casting it instead of Rossie.

It was a feeling of power, it was the feeling of a [Owner] using his [Tools], it was [Right]-

NO

Something wasn't right, something was wrong, she didn't want to [Own] Rossie. Rossie wasn't a tool, she wasn't a toy, she wasn't an [Object].

No, Rossie was a brave girl, she was a lovely girl who wanted to be better, someone who even after making mistakes she strived to be better, she was a girl that even at the risk of her [Soul] she tried to right the things she perceived had done wrong.

She was the same girl that when her [Wish] became true, she threw it away just to try and save someone she loved.

And yet it would be so easy, she only needed to hold the [Chain], to administer the [Punishment] when the other girl did something that she didn't like, it would be so easy...And Rossie seemed to be well trained to do that, she hadn't even done anything but put the [Collar] and the girl had folded easily enough.

But that wasn't correct, that wasn't the girl she loved. The Rossaline Singh she loved wasn't the chained trembling girl in front of her.

"It isn't your fault Rossie, it is mine..." Elizabeth whispered into the ear of the pink-haired girl as she hugged her.

"No, it's my fault, I didn't mean to...I will be better...I will..." The pink-haired girl whispered as if it was a mantra to calm herself, her tone of voice, her cadence, her inflection. They were different, they weren't the same as the girl she had lived with the past year.

It was the voice of someone broken, it was...A reflection of the worst stories her Mother had told her, it was a reflection of the darker days her mother had lived in the first world she went to.

[DEVOUR HER] [CONSUME HER] [THE WORLD IS YOUR DESSERT] [TIE HER TO YOU SO SHE WILL NEVER BETRAY YOU AGAIN]

Spoke the whispers of a dark entity within her [Soulscape], it was something she hadn't gone back to, something hidden within the tower in the very core of her [Shadow Haven].

A mass of darkness and maws that she had chosen to ignore because it reminded her of [Nyctophagia].

[EMBRACE IT]![TIE HER]![SLAVE HER TO YOUR WILL]!

She would love to think as a remnant from [Ethan], or a side effect of whatever [Nyctophagia] did to her, but honestly? She wasn't sure if it was entirely them. It felt...Closer to her, and she hadn't found any [Vestiges] in the image of [Nyctophagia] or [Ethan]. Perhaps it was another facet of her power, perhaps it was the prize she had to pay for sublimating Chloe into her, for obliterating any hope of that girl of a happy life. Or was it the sins she carried from her past life, not as former Elizabeth, but the [Scion of the Saintsworth's clan].

"Rossie, listen to me." Elizabeth said as the other girl, still frightened turned to look at her. "I need you to use your [Soul] magic and fuse it with [Divine] magic."

"Yes, whatever you need," Rossie answered and both spells materialized in a second above the other girl's hand.

She saw the magic being woven and it was a work of art, but...It was missing something, it was at that moment that she knew what it was, a stray thought went towards Chloe, the girl whose skill had made her pariah to her family.

A skill she now held, a skill that had a particular effect on [Tainted] "[Lighting]" She summoned that mana and carefully fed it into the spell Rossie was building.

The effect was immediate and the other girl's complexion seemed to recover slightly, light returned to her eyes as an azure blue light shone behind the pink-haired girl's pupil.

"Eli-Eli? What?" Asked Rossie as she first noticed the spell in her hand and then turned to look at the blonde girl. "Weren't we kissing?"

Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh at that, "Yes, yes we were...sorry about that. I need you to cast that towards the coordinates I will feed into the spell." And after saying so, she willed the coordinates towards the containment cell within her [Core].

The spot that seemed to boil and want to break free, the place that held the [Chain] that restricted Rossie and made her a loyal [Paramour] to her.

"...Eli-Eli, this spell seems anathema to anything that the caster deems [Evil] or [Tainted]." Rossie said as she read the formulae.

As always, her Rossie was the smartest girl around.

That was why she [WOULD DEVOUR HER] [WOULD CONTROL HER] [WOULD FEAST ON HER SOUL]. Loved her so much.

"Do you love me Rossie?" Elizabeth asked, a serious tone in her voice.

"Yes, of course I do, you know that." The pink-haired girl answered, and shadows started creeping around them, some with red eyes, some with blue eyes.

But they all seemed to creep towards both girls, even so. Neither Rossaline nor Elizabeth paid them attention.

"Would you hurt me?" Asked Elizabeth, a flick of will was all she had to spare to make sure no shadow came near Rossie.

"No, never again." Answered the pink-haired girl, "What is happening Eli-Eli?"

But she was too smart, she [WOULD NEED TO BE CHAINED AGAIN] didn't have time to explain, did she?

"Then when you cast the spell, nothing bad will happen," Elizabeth said, the spell was ready.

"Half of this mana isn't mine Eli-Eli, it...doesn't feel quite normal either. It's [Too Pure]." Rossie seemed to know, but also didn't seem to understand.

"It's something we need to do, and while I wish someone else could cast it instead of you...I don't really trust anyone else with this." Elizabeth said as she relinquished her [Authority] over the spell.

She felt the spell leave her control and felt [NO] [MINE] [MUST BE MINE] [ALL MUST COME UNDER MY WINGS] relief. Should Rossie decide, she would be free, nothing could tie Rossalina Singh to her so long she held that spell.

And Rossie seemed to know that as her eyes turned towards her, "I..." She seemed to want to ask, but also didn't want to ask.

"I seem to have a few troubles around, nothing too serious, but you know how it is, the sooner you deal with them, the better." Elizabeth joked.

And Rossie in answer to that decided to pull Elizabeth into a kiss, a soft small kiss, a kind kiss, their lips joined once more, but this time the brilliance of mana was with them.

Rossie relinquished her hold over the spell and it shone with the light of her love for the blonde girl, the mana turned golden with strikes of azure light and it rained down upon the ruined city within the [Shadow Haven].

Wherever it touched the debris seemed to slowly repair itself, but while that would help Elizabeth, most of it focused on the tower at the heart of the city, and towards a containment chamber.

"[I WILL DEVOUR]!" And within a mass of shadows screamed as the rain of light came upon it. "[I WILL DEVOUR EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD]!"

It trashed, and trashed again, but in the end... "[THE WORLD WILL CRUMBLE UPON MY MIGHT]!" it couldn't hold against the divine mana.

"[i will....devour...the....world....]" Slowly and surely the containment chamber started to be drained, as the mass of shadow was cleansed "[the world...will...fear....my appetite...will...be....]"

And after the containment chamber was cleansed only a small locket remained, a locket with the image of a woman dressed in a nun outfit, it wasn't the classical nun outfit, but the outfit you would see in an adult movie.

The woman had pink hair and heart pupils in her eyes, but the eyes were empty, dead, even while she smiled, nothing could be felt from her. Elizabeth didn't have time to examine it as the image within the locket transformed into the image of the Rossalina Singh that was kissing her, the Rossie she loved.

The one that was in front of her, smiling, happy. Alive. But more importantly, the chain that tied them together changed once more, this time, however. She could only perceive half of it.

She could only control half, and the other half while she could feel it, she couldn't control it, she could relinquish the connection, yes, but she couldn't tamper it, not anymore.

"And now, we will never be separated," Rossie said as she separated herself from her. "I will never let you go Eli-Eli."

Yes, she could live with that, "Wouldn't want it another way, Rossie." She liked this more, this was a relationship between two people.

She didn't want full authority over Rossie, she didn't need a loyal slave, she needed her lovely and lively Rossie.

She needed the bright girl who would look at her with hunger, the girl who if she implied it, she had no doubt would strip her in a second. She wanted the free-willed girl, not a mind slave.

Did she have more problems to deal with? Yeah, no joke. That had given her a scare, the mere fact that a remnant within her [Shadow Haven] could have that much influence on her. The fact that she had almost mind-raped Rossie into slavery.

Just like Akira had done to Rena...Was this something every [Hero] dealt with? Had all of those that been summoned to another world end up slaving other people to their whims?

The Stories her Mother told her always spoke of [Heroes] having friends and lovers, people would go out of their way to help them, people would forgive their mistakes, they would go over everything just to make their life easier...

Was it all a side effect of mental domination? Had been those stories always been tainted by this? Was this the reason her Mother loathed them that much?

But...then why had she given her this? Or was this a mistake? Was this something else that had escaped her sight?

She knew that her coming to this world had been under the guidance of otherworld entities, and they had given her a mission. A mission she didn't accept and that someone else fulfilled, but she qualified as a [Summoned Hero], had her [Title] awoken something dormant within her [Soul]? Or had her [Connection] to a former [Hero's subordinate] awaken it?

She needed to investigate her [Domain] more closely. But for now?

"Rossie, I think the mana of that spell left me weakened, I need [Healing], but the only way for it to work is with a Kiss~" She had more important things to do. Like Kissing her girlfriend.

"Oh no, we need to give treatment immediately." And her girlfriend, who was also her [Healer] and her [Doctor] knew her the best.
