Notice:

You have synched yourself more closely with your [Origin], extra experience awarded.

Mind, Body, and Soul have been intrinsically synched itself more deeply, your [Fate Weight] has been solidified, you are harder to be affected by [Tampering] to your [Fate] and those near you have their [Fate] stabilized.

New information is available.

Origin Name: [Shadow Weaver]
Base: Dragonic
Fate Rank: Primordial
Type: Seeker of Knowledge

That confirmed her status as a dragon, what did that mean?

...Nothing particular to her, she didn't feel that different, to be honest, and while she activated the [Title] she even felt more as [Herself], even if she seemed to be missing some of her usual emotions...Or was it that some of her other emotions were amped?

She liked to play with the [Amp] node, but to have something amplify her emotions was weird, either way, she wasn't sure what to make out of that.

So for now she left it alone, if she was reading it right, then she somehow had synchronized her mind, soul, and body. So... nothing should be able to meddle with her like [Ethan] and [Nyctophagia] had done before...right?

What worried her more right now was her connection to Nyx, it had stabilized more with each level up, with each skill level towards her manipulation skills, and with each level in her shadow minion summoning.

...That was another problem, her skill in the shadow dragon summoning had jumped in levels, so many levels, she could feel the new shadow dragons sleeping in apartments within the ruined city, some together, some alone. A few even seemed to work towards cleaning the ruined city...

She hadn't ordered them that, but even the dragon eye seemed to be nourished by the presence of the new shadow dragons, maybe she should try and summon more?

She wondered why or how the skill seemed to level up like that, only by summoning the basest form of her scouts...

Would she be able to summon more complex ones?

[In case you wish to change a dragon from a job to another dragon you need to fully unsummon the dragon that holds the job in question.]

That answered that question, and gave her extra confirmation as she could mentally follow the thread about who was holding the [Maid] job, sure enough following that thread she arrived at the egg.

More confirmation that it was indeed her lovely maid Beatrice.

But leaving that aside she had more concerning matters at hand, like selecting those to be promoted...

Now...who had done their best and should be awarded an upgrade on its status?

"How am I supposed to differentiate them?" Wondered aloud Elizabeth as she focused on the shadow dragon's presence within her soulcape.

They all looked the same, for some reason she knew who the original ten were though. They had this...Distinct feeling to them, as if they were more solid.

So she started with them, looking at her side, she found Rossie still unconscious, lovely. So thinking about it, she made her choice.

"Promote five to [Royal Knight] and the other five to [Royal Mage]." She felt the drain in her mana pool as mana flooded towards the presence of those ten.

They appeared in the center of her [Shadow Haven], one transforming into a beacon of azure light as they morphed, changed, and [Grew].

Where they had a simplistic and sleek design they grew, from what she could consider an adorable [Hatchling] towards a more defined [Juvenile] look, their body grew more robust, their horns more sharp looking, and their maw more big. Their scale turned from a half-ethereal look into one that she could mistake for armor, very heavy and ornamented armor.

It was quite an interesting metamorphosis, as they weren't quite the same armor designs in all five of them.

There were three different emblems on their scales, the first one was easy to understand, they wore an emblem of an azure star surrounded by fourteen different smaller stars of different colors, in the star at the middle a single dragon maw was painted within the main star. Two dragons held this design on their armor.

The second...she kinda understood what it was but found it interesting, to say the least, as she also found the implications quite...Intriguing.

It was a pink heart, it was a solitary pink heart that was mended, signs of wounds painted with golden light coursing the scars of it, surrounded by dragons hugging it.

She wasn't quite sure if she should be embarrassed, upset or cry.

She turned to see the pink-haired girl who was unconscious right now on the bed and gave her a kiss on the cheek, she would need to alter her current plans for the evolutions of the rest of the dragons, but she wouldn't regret doing so.

Two dragons also held this emblem, they seemed somewhat more feral than the other three, but she may be seeing things wrong.

The last one however, that was more interesting to her, since it was the one with the more intricate armor, it also was one that held a crown on its emblem.

The emblem on this one was that of a single dragon maw with a heart and a star orbiting it. At the top of the maw, the dragon had a yellow crown with seven gems surrounding the emblem.

Currently, only one gem seemed to be in place, but this one seemed smarter than the other four, as it was already with the eyes open.

Turning her attention to the other five dragons she found them mostly finished with their transformation, they all wore long flowing robes and stood in two legs.

They seemed closer to a dragon turned human, perhaps some type of kobold variant? She had read into them after one of the stories her Mother told about had them as prominent enemies to the [Hero] of turn.

Some kind of black-haired kid who dropped meteors and extinguished the whole race, it surprised her to no end that this kid wanted to do that because someone else had done that in an animated series he saw, so he thought there would be no consequences to that.

Either way, the race of kobolds was one that was supposed to be a descendant of dragons, they were basically humanoid lizards. And her five [Royal Mage] shadow dragons fit the bill.

"Mistress, we the Shadow Royal Mage Dragons pledge our loyalty to you and the Mistress Consort." Their voice resounded in the air as she felt a small flicker of wind mana.

Had they used wind manipulation to speak? Why?

"[Mistress, we the Shadow Royal Knight Dragons pledge our unending Loyalty to you, the Mistress Consort and your Empire.]" The Dragon Knight at the front spoke, it was the one that held the crown on its emblem.

And its voice grated her ears, it was closer to a growl full with [Idea] than to human speech, she was suddenly painfully aware of why the Royal Mages had used a spell to speak, yeah. They had won the contest for who she liked more at the moment.

"Move to your positions," She said as a representation of herself manifested at the base of the tower in the middle of her [Shadow Haven]. "I will move new [Scouts] to hold your previous positions."

The Royal Knights moved quickly, she saw the two with the heart emblem jump from her shadow into Rossie's, and felt the presence of the other three grow more solid within her shadow.

The Royal Mages however, remained, that was interesting... "We shall remain within your demesne Mistress, from here we can assist you in Ritual Grade Magic and Mana Manipulation if needed. Should you require to deploy [Fortress Buster] -grade magic we shall move to the overworld." Said one of the Royal Mages as they walked(that was so weird to see) towards one of the buildings near the central spire in her ruined city.

The building transformed into a library as they walked in and so she was left alone there.

Well, time to move to the next problem on the list "Promote 20 shadow dragons to Knights," Elizabeth said to no one in particular, and then felt some of her recovered mana be stripped away. But unlike the last ten, this time it was bearable.

Her mana was recovering quite well, even if she was below what she was comfortable with, it seemed that only the last ten had wasted more mana since they had gotten a special evolution.

It was in moments like these ones that she missed the sports drink her father had given her, she had searched for it in her inventory, both the normal one and the [Garage] evolution she ended up with, but while most of the stuff she carried around as former Elizabeth was there, that particular item wasn't anywhere to be seen.

Thinking back on it, it may have been reckless to turn twenty shadow dragons in one go after all.

"Turn ten to scouts and then the other ten to tanks." But since she had proved that doing so didn't strain her, she continued in that manner.

Unlike the other ten, not a single one of the last forty had come to the central spire for their change, most just stopped moving and went into a cocoon to change, then continued on with their daily lives, she hadn't felt any special change either.

"Five to assassins, archers, and healers." If anything the change seemed to be mostly minimal.

The knights got more detailed armor, the tanks got a small shield the right size for their bodies, and the assassins lost armor and got a robe that seemed to turn them more ethereal.

But not a single one of them seemed to grow in size or form as the Royal variants.

"And the last one...Engineer." Or at least it had been like so.

The last one had changed more in the meaning that it got a small monocle and a lab coat, that one seemed oddly familiar, just like the one she awoke in at the start of the year.

But surely it was her seeing things, no way her [Shadow Haven] would recycle something as her clothing for this...

"Hmmggghhh Not there Eli-Eli... I haven't.... HMMMMNNNHHHH" .....

WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS CUTE CREATURE DREAMING OF AND HOW DO I GET IN THERE!?!?

I mean, "Rossie, what are you dreaming?" Yes that, she meant to think that, or to say that?

Either way, the pink-haired girl seemed to be quite happy in dreamland, and she wasn't searching on the list of spells Alexanders had made for her so long ago for one to visit other people's dreams. No sir.

"Well, that is that, now what is next?" Elizabeth said as she looked at the clock, it was still too early to go to classes...

Not that she had any class left, but she was still irked by that, returning to school only to find out you have to do self-study?

Well, she had gotten two levels out of that supposed self-study...But really, was it that hard to give them classes?!?

"Oh right, stat points...Let's see...round out the numbers to 50...and to 150...Remaining ones to str...And done." Elizabeth totally didn't bump out charisma just because she would be seen by Rossie's parents during the exhibition match.

Totally not preparing.

Yeah, SHE WAS NOT NERVOUS AT ALL.

...At least her status screen looked nice.

She noticed that there were new additions of course, the most prominent being her [Draconic Inheritance] thing, as well as the [Banked Skills], did this mean that she had access to that thing that saved skills?

"Move [Young Body] towards banked skills." Elizabeth tried to move one of the skills she wouldn't mind losing towards that area.

But nothing happened.

"Noooo~, I likes your smooth skin Eli-Eli " Besides Rossie complaining on her sleep "Nyam "

And then grabbing her hand and licking her fingers.

Why was this girl licking her fingers? What the hell was she dreaming about?

AND WHY COULDN'T SHE BE IN THAT?!?

I mean, "Rossie, that's dirty." Yes that, her finger was dirty, and she totally didn't want her to stop just because it made her want to assault her, yes. Was she getting distracted?

I mean, anyone would get it if their girlfriend was acting like that! This was practically assault already! SHE WAS GETTING ASSAULTED!

Bad joke aside, she needed to focus, so she stealthily used her skills to replace her finger with a shadow dummy, then proceeded to shove that finger into her mou.....

She proceeded to place that finger into her mou...

........

She then proceeded to continue reading her status screens while biting her finger to help her focus on the problem at hand, she had a new part of her status that allowed her to [Bank] skills, but she couldn't move the skills she didn't need to it.

And while she had the [Feel] about how to use the skills in that section, she wasn't aware of a method to move things into it or out.

For example, she didn't have trouble using the [Shadow Step] skill, she was able to teleport all over the place once more, but for some reason, the skill didn't have a [Level] nor did she have the same problems as before.

While the skill did consume mana as normal, she felt as if the skill depended more on her skills and talents than on her [Skills] and [Level], she needed to designate the coordinates for the skill to work on, unlike before, when she only needed to think of the target shadow and teleport.

Now she needed to designate her own coordinates, the coordinates of the shadow she was teleporting to, and make the formula for the jump, she needed to account for gravity, atmospheric pressure, and all the things.

Also, while before the skill would fail if something went wrong, this time, the new skill wouldn't fail to activate, something would go wrong still, but she could only find out about those effects at the other side of the teleport.

This she found out when she teleported a mug and the thing materialized with half of it inside a wall, she of course had intended for it to go there, since she wanted to know if the thing would break, but instead, what she found out was that the mug was fine. It was part of the wall now, but teleporting it out solved the problem.

The mug still broke after the event when she tried to pour water into it, but it was good to know that at least the thing didn't burst out, should she make that kind of mistake at least she could heal herself by going to Rossie.

Or to her new Shadow Healer Dragons...She would still go to Rossie.

"hehehe...Eli-Eli " Even if the girl seemed to be cheating on her with Dream Elizabeth.

The gall!

She would hit on Dream Rossie...Actually wouldn't her Dream Rossie be [Soulscape Rossie]?

Real World Rossie would find out if she did so, curse you, Rossie! Why were you so adorable even while sleeping unconscious at finding you have a daughter!

No wait, she had other things to worry about, like how had Rossie stopped her?

She didn't think about that, but she stopped her from summoning more Minions didn't she?

How did she do that? It shouldn't be possible, but the effect originated from the [Soulscape] didn't?

Elizabeth tried to focus on the feeling she felt at the moment when Rossie stopped her, trying to trace it back to its origin, but all she came out with was the [Chain] that joined them and the lock that floated above Beato's egg.

"We need to speak about that too. I doubt someone else can do it, but if they can we need to prepare." Elizabeth said while extending her shadows under the pink-haired girl to raise her, she was sleeping with her legs down towards the floor.

So she raised the girl with her shadows to settle her down on the bed. Where to put her down though?

"The bed? I mean, she is sleeping, so it should be the bed right?" Elizabeth said aloud, speaking to no one, she didn't feel anyone acknowledging her words.

The shadow dragons within their shadows didn't answer, she got the feeling that they were monitoring the surroundings but not paying attention to her, so well behaved.

"So the bed it is...now...sleepwear..." Elizabeth turned her attention towards Rossie, she would be uncomfortable in that, so maybe a gown?

But then her clothes...

"Oh god..." She would need to...To...undress...Rossie....

"No Elizabeth, this is for Rossie's sake, she can't sleep like that, I mean. Look at me, I even unbuttoned my blouse asleep because it wasn't comfortable." And she indeed did...Actually speaking about that. "[Inventory - Sleepwear]."

And like that, Elizabeth was dressed in one of her favorite pajama sets, a pair of silk pants with a matching blouse.

Now the problem was Rossie... She would need...to....remove....her blouse...

....

..........

"Forgive me father for I have sinned." And so it started one of the more strenuous works Elizabeth ever enjoye...I mean, so it started one of the more strenuous works Elizabeth ever had enjo...

You know what?
