She was Happy!

Even after moving her meadow to this weird place. She did miss mama and her morning visits, and the nice blue lady’s visits…She even missed Mister Pig!

Okay, maybe she didn’t miss mister Pig… But she could pretend she did!

She didn’t mind following after her brother when he came rushing all bloodied to her room. She even pretended to not notice how his eyes glazed over when she asked questions about where Mama was…

Not that brother liked mama that much, mama wasn’t brother’s mama after all. Mama was only her mama!

She didn’t mind sharing her, but neither brother nor mama wanted, so she left that alone…She almost had managed to worm the [Idea] of family in both of them…Only a little nudge and the [Idea] would have brought them all together!

But alas, it wasn’t meant to be. At least her meadow had settled quite nicely in this place. There was only one problem still bothering her.

“Grampa, stop counting seconds.” Said the little girl while staring through one of the windows of her little home.

The red screen that represented her grampa kept pestering her about that connection thingy. Even though the seconds kept piling up in the negative numbers.

What was even the point of that?

It only served to keep track of how much time it had happened since they moved her home…And how much time it had passed since she last saw Mama…

“…I hate you grampa.” Said the little girl while closing that window once again, she had tried to show it to her brother, but he just vanished in some weird static only to come as if nothing had happened the next day.

No memory whatsoever of the event. She had spent the rest of the week prodding her brother to see if it was the same one as before, but his [Idea] was stable and he didn’t react to any of her feelers.

Besides the soul and mind were the same, so maybe she could use that window to try and fish Mama from there?

Thought for another time perhaps. For now, the little girl left her comfy house and into her meadow she went.

“…Such a nice weather…” Mumbled the little girl while admiring the star field over her little plot of land. After her brother moved their home here, the stars doting the sky had changed. Now there was a bright and deep dark blue star where the sun was before.

A few other stars were orbiting around, one that changed colors, a blue giant, a few days ago a pink comet had entered the orbit of the blue star in the middle of this peculiar star system. She missed being able to have a weather system here though.

After arriving here…She wasn’t able to do as much as before, where before a simple stray thought was enough to bring a thundering storm…Nowadays even after focusing, she couldn’t summon even a fog.

*drip*

“FUNYA!?!?” So her surprise when a drop of water fell from the sky was understandable.

“IT’S RAINING!” screamed the little girl while running in her meadow. The rain was…Weird. It wasn’t clear blue water but closer to azure blue drops, and it wasn’t coming from clouds, but some weird blue cracks in the sky.

Also…It wasn’t falling only from the sky. The cracks were everywhere. Even in her own body, those cracks started forming.

“[STOP]” Commanded the little girl when she noticed how the cracks were going everywhere.

“[The cracks will cease their rampant propagation.]” And the world stopped cracking all over the place. Her voice was icy cold and almost mechanical.

Soon the cracks in her started shining golden, and her body was clean of those weird wounds. Her white dress was once again impeccable. Her golden hair turned clean and free of that weird azure-blue liquid.

“[Show me the origin of this event.]” Said the blonde little girl and soon enough she found herself transported to the outside of Elizabeth’s Soulscape.

She could see how there were cracks all over the dark crystal that was the [Soulscape] of her most recent friend. And she frowned.

The azure blue liquid was trying to patch the soul of Elizabeth, but was…

Too brutish in its effort. And it seems that it somehow felt the connection between the Soulscape and her meadow, so it tried to shove most of the cracks there. That wasn’t very nice.

“[Show me the reason of this wound.]” Exclaimed the little girl and a blue screen materialized in front of her. Unlike the ones at her home, this one was…More organic?

It felt somehow more natural than the synthetic ones her brother had made so long ago. Inside she could see Elizabeth speaking with a blob of [Mana] pretending to be a normal man. She fast-forwarded the event, finding that [Thing] to be Elizabeth’s Father.

And how the blonde girl tried to use one of the [Skills] her brother had made for the girl using the help of the local [Crystal].

“Oh…bad idea Eli-Eli.” That blob of [Mana] that was Elizabeth’s father had tried his best to reduce his defenses, but even with that, the amount of [Records] that he had in him was too much. And her brother’s skill wasn’t really one that [Read].

He, like always, had made one thing and said it was another. Well that wasn’t really fair to him, since he had mostly just [Translated] the original skills into something more [Understandable].

Poor Elizabeth wouldn’t have understood the real use of her skill if it was presented as [Interpret] or [Write]. Either way, poor Elizabeth had tried to [Translate] too much with too little power or [Authority] and now her Soul was cracking under the pressure.

That man was trying his best using his own [Authority] to mend her soul…

But he had the grace of a monkey trying to sew back a balloon.

“[Stop the flow of information and redirect it through me.]” And soon enough the full weight of the information that was that man started to rain down on her.

“Yep, you are one heavy bastard.” Said the little girl, and soon after that she placed her little hands in her mouth and looked around. “Ah, look what you did. I spoke out of character!” She said while angrily staring at the flow of mana coming from the blob of mana that was still trying to keep together the soulscape of Elizabeth.

“*Sigh* Might as well. Eli-Eli I’m using your mana and you are shouldering the debt!” Said the little girl while smiling at herself.

One tendril of yellow energy came down from her hair and shot itself into the soulscape. Revealing the true form of the soulscape. An ebony spherical polyhedron, if you tried to count how many surfaces it had you would find yourself finding a extra one each time you looked.

So she just didn’t count them!

‘The flesh bags don’t know how to deal with these things really. It’s so simple!’ Though the little girl.

The azure blue flames stopped encroaching in the area where her tendril was too, maybe that man had a headache when he perceived the true form of the soulscape?

Serves him right for putting Elizabeth at such risk.

“[Use the mana and the energy gifted from The Crusader to patch the wounds in the soul. The price will be Mana. The debtor will be the Inheritor. Any negative value will be allowed under my authority as a fellow Keeper.]” And as soon as the words left her mouth the change was both swift and profound.

The different cracks all over the soulscape started mending, some used the azure blue liquid to fix themselves, others just closed as if they were never there and a few of them used the same shadow essence that covered the soulscape to mend.

With that fixed she flew towards the soulscape and entered to the half her brother used as a laboratory.

“I HAVE ARRIVED!” Said the little girl while falling from one of the few cracks that were still open into the arms of her brother.

“Alexa, what have I told you about messing around with the weather systems?” Said the blonde young adult that was Alexanders.

He didn’t even try to dodge the few raindrops that still were around. He just used some weird small orbs of metal to catch them or redirect them to dedicated mechanical insects. Her brother had this weird fixation on having Ants and Spiders fight for some reason.

“B…But I fixed it!” Exclaimed the little girl while pointing at the now-receding cracks in the ceiling.

“Yes, yes…Good girl for fixing your mess.” Said her brother while patting her on the head, she would get him later!

He was cuter when he was also as small as her… Should she accelerate his transformation?

But the [Idea] of her brother was currently linked with the [Soulscape]…If she messed him too much it would leak in Elizabeth…

“You win this time!” Exclaimed the little girl while running away from the laboratory her brother was using.

She wasn’t running away! It was a tactical retreat!

For his part, the blonde man didn’t mind that much the shenanigans the little girl got around. He just continued working on fixing the occasional bugs from conflicts on the [Essence] and [Mana] that were flowing through the [Soulscape].

If her sight had something to say about the situation, it was getting better, after Elizabeth went through the last threshold the soulscape turned more stable.

Had she tried to [See] her father before…Yeah…No way of fixing that one without cracking the true form of the soul…She didn’t want that. She liked Elizabeth.

If her soul cracked then…She would be fine, but the thought of having to go around picking up the parts of her brother's soul…Then the parts of Elizabeth…Ugh…

She wasn’t confident in being able to build two different souls from scratch…Nor was she confident in not messing them around by using the wrong parts on the wrong soul…Maybe she would just shove them together and create the ultimate Sister/Brother!

….No Alexa!

NO!

“Stop messing around with people’s souls!” Chastichised herself the little girl while arriving at her library.

After they found out how she had messed around with Mister Pig they had scolded her, not that they noticed the difference anyway… Why were they that bothered by that?

Mister Pig looked better after she fixed him!

“Hello?” Resounded the voice of her new friend in the library.

Elizabeth had come!

“Eli-Eli!” Said the little girl while doing her trademarked jump-and-hug attack!

Had that much time passed?

Time was weird when she was dealing with non-euclidean physics. And half her library worked on another plane of existence so that didn’t help either.

Stingy Alexanders that didn’t affix all of her library on the soulscape…

“What can I help you with!” Said cheerfully the little girl while looking at Elizabeth.

Hmm…

‘Is her soul not fixed yet?’ Though the little girl while looking at the blonde girl. Her presence wasn’t fully here like before, and her mana resonance felt weaker overall.

“TEI!” Said the little girl while throwing one of her strands of hair at the head of the blonde girl.

After which she had some weird type of seizure while standing, for almost a full minute she was a mess of garbled texts and static. And after a few moments of that she returned to normal, the only difference? She was holding her sports drink and taking sips at it.

So the little girl nodded pleased with her work, that thing was really good at restoring mana. So having her drink here too helped Elizabeth!

“Yeah…I need to work on some spells, so I will just use one of the terminals if you don’t mind.” Said the blonde girl while walking to one of the booths that weren’t drenched in that weird azure-blue liquid...

“Oh sorry about the mess, we had a leak.” Said the little girl while running towards one of the buttons in a wall and started spamming said button.

“The what?” Asked the blonde girl as if she hadn’t seen a problem.

“Oh…Nothing, don’t mind me!” Said cutely the little girl, right...

Elizabeth was still under the influence of her cousin… She…Understood it, even if she didn’t like it.

And since she was a visitor she didn’t really feel comfortable messing around with those limitations…Even if they were boring. It wasn’t her home after all… Even if her cousin was a toddler…

She would break them herself if Elizabeth got stuck in one of the thresholds. Yep, that would be more fun for all of them!
