She was...Happy...Yes, she was happy.

Her heart never had felt this full before her daily life with Elizabeth started. She even started speaking with some of her cohorts in the magic classes she had when Elizabeth wasn't around.

Even though the blonde girl was adamant about the sharing of household chores, she couldn't deceive her. She was like a cat.

So long you allowed her a comfy spot to lay down she would do so, so long you didn't go over the top with the scratchs and pets she would allow it. And if you were lucky...She might even allow you to snuggle with her!

So while she spent her daily days in this academy with a warm feeling growing by the day in her chest and some sleepless nights just staring at her...Friend...

So while spending her days doing laundry and cleaning Elizabeth's dishes and washing her own. She found herself with a conundrum.

While going about her daily life one morning after finishing making the breakfast someone knocked on their door. So when she went to look who it was she found...Her.

It was a woman, she didn't look older than perhaps 25 years old... And she had quite the looks, but that wasn't the problem. No. The main problem was that she smelled like Elizabeth.

It had that sweet under scent that somehow was fresh like a morning, but hers had another taste in it. It was like the scent of a hundred different flowers mixed together trying to hide an undertone in her, it felt...Close to her own smell.

"Well well...Who is this one I wonder." Said the woman while smiling at her and looking her up and down.

She could smell her mana making invisible magical circles all over herself, but tried her best to not try and follow the mana moving all over her body "I'm Rosalina Singh." She said while trying to not think too much about who that mysterious woman was.

"Hmm...I see..." Said the woman who opened the door and walked into the living area "I'm Eli-Eli's Mother. You may call me Catherine." She said while she snapped his fingers and a magical circle materialized above their coffee table.

"Tea or Coffee?" Asked the woman.

She was flabbergasted by the antics of this woman, but she answered "Coffee is fine." While closing the door and walking to one of the chairs in their living area.

The woman just nodded at her answer and the magical circle materialized a cup of coffee, she didn't smell anything wrong with the mana in the cup of coffee so she took a sip and was amazed at the taste.

"It is one of my favorite brands. They still haven't managed to produce here..." She said while savoring the drink. Or at least that was what it looked like on the outside.

She on the other hand could smell the mana of that woman lurking all around, when she felt it going towards Elizabeth's room she couldn't control herself and turned her head in that direction.

"So that's where Eli-Eli is huh...You are more interesting than what My Daughter said." The woman said and she [Felt it]. The mana solidifies and turns her head toward that woman.

"Hmm..." She murmured while her body was lifted by the invisible tendrils of mana. "The body looks good enough..." Was murmuring to the woman while she was levitated off the floor.

"The soul seems somewhat damaged though." Her what?

She knew that she wasn't normal like the other girls around, but to say her [Soul] was damaged...

"So tell me, girl. What do you think of my daughter?" Asked the woman while one of those invisible circles shot into her head. And she felt as if the world started losing color once again.

"She is my world." Said her mouth while her brain started to run wild, she didn't want this. She didn't want to lose all the color in her world again.

"Oh...Right, sorry...I know what that feels too. But understand me, I do need to be sure." Said the woman and the world stopped losing color. The previous colors didn't return but at least it wasn't progressing once again.

"Have you met anyone that claims himself a [God] in a white room?" She asked.

And suddenly the world around her trembled, something in the very back of her mind struggled "[Gotcha]" Said the woman who suddenly was in front of her.

At some point, she had moved faster than she could perceive and one of her hands was shoved straight into her chest. "[I have you now you piece of shit.]" Said the woman in a weird language. But somehow she understood every single word.

In one motion she retracted her arm leaving her still floating in the air with a gaping wound in her chest, she wanted to move her mana to close the wound, to cast a healing spell on herself before her consciousness faded. But her mana wouldn't respond...

She started feeling cold...So cold...Somehow the feeling was nostalgic too...

The woman on the other hand was holding a weird cristal with a broken heart in it. "Hmm...The contract was broken?" She said while turning to look at her.

"Oh right...The wound, sorry about that." And then without saying a thing she placed her hand over her chest and a pink magical circle so complex that it baffled her mind materialized above the hand of the woman. "[Sacred Heal]" she said and her wound mended itself, the blood that was splattered all over the place shined in a gold color and flew itself inside her again.

The feeling of dread and coldness disappeared and for a second...For a glorious second... All the world gained color.

But it faded to its normal color just as soon as the spell ended and the woman said "I still have it in me after all~" congratulating herself.

She could move once again and the first thing she did was check the wound on her chest. "It's gone..." She said while looking at her ruined shirt.

"...What?" Was all she could say while looking with dread at the woman. Now that she wasn't suspended in the air and the feeling of something invading her mind was gone she noticed how everything was looking as if she was seeing through water.

She tried to wipe her eyes and found a crystal-clear liquid in them...Was she crying? She turned to one of the mirrors in the living area and sure enough. Her reflection was a mess, his shirt was ripped apart showing her chest, and her bra had fallen at some point while the woman was fishing for something inside her body.

Her makeup was a mess since her tears had ruined it all, and her shoulders were going up and down with her erratic breathing from her crying.

"Now that is out of the way..." Said the woman turning her attention back to her. "...And since I confirmed that you aren't a threat to Eli-Eli...Well, not anymore." Continued saying that woman, no apology for the treatment she had given her.

"You are allowed to continue living with my daughter." Said the woman while looking down on her, as if she needed permission to share a room with her!

She had earned this fair and square!

"I will ignore the fact that the original student that was supposed to share a room with my daughter disappeared mysteriously." Said that woman and all the complaints that she wanted to say died.

She found out? That was impossible! There was no evidence left!

"And since my daughter seems to have a liking to you and you are doing a fine work as her maid you will be keeping doing so. What you do in your free time is your thing after all..." Said that woman while walking towards Elizabeth's room, stopping at the door.

"Should Elizabeth wish more of you...I will grant you my royal blessing..." Said the woman, making her blush at the idea... She...She never thought...

She never ever consider it...

"Do work hard at your goals... If my daughter asks for it I wouldn't mind [Healing your broken soul]" She said while smiling at her and then walked inside the room.

She felt one by one how the multiple spells she had placed inside Elizabeth's room got destroyed...And a few of them she directly lost control of them.

"Leave us. I need some time with my daughter." And on that note she found herself teleported to the other side of the campus, with new clothes on her. At the very least she didn't need to worry about getting new clothes.

Before she never worried about if others saw her or not. But after living with Elizabeth she didn't want anyone else to see her like that...

So she just walked to one of the secluded spots in her favorite park and threw herself on the floor, she had too much to think.

First, the mother of Elizabeth was nuts.

Second, she had said something about her soul being broken.

Third, she had fished something from inside her and ripped it out.

Fourth, she felt better after she did so.

Fifth, she spoke and acted like royalty.

Sixth, that meant her Elizabeth was a princess!

She couldn't help but smile at that thought, she always knew her Elizabeth was too adorable to be a peasant like her!

That made her happy... And that was something else too, the mother of Elizabeth could cast some powerful healing magic...She also had a degree of control over mind and body type magic. But as a royal, she probably could buy off that type of magic easily enough...

She...Didn't want to go near her if possible...The mere thought of doing so gave her shivers all over, at least she could keep living near Elizabeth...And if nothing else she was told that she could live as a maid under them...If she got lucky and Elizabeth wanted her as something more...Then she also had gotten authorization.

She had only needed to be mind and perhaps soul raped for it. She couldn't help but laugh at that.

The first true emotion she ever felt came from Elizabeth in the form of her love for her. The second had been from her mother...In the form of fear.

In the end, she spent almost all day in the park, not daring to even walk in the direction of their apartment till she got a message in her phone that only read "My daughter needs her dinner."

She interpreted it as her mother meaning that she had left, so after calling to the apartments to find out no one had visited them that day she went back. She found Elizabeth asleep in her dorm, with no evidence of her mother around.

So after layering the most noninvasive of her spells in the room, she went to make dinner. Her Elizabeth didn't speak much about her mother, only saying that she had come around and complained about her teaching methods being too brutish.

She laughed at that while saying "What magic did she teach you?" she wanted to be sure that her Elizabeth hadn't been at risk.

"Oh nothing much, just some advanced [Mana] exercises...I think?" Said the blonde while inclining her head to the side thinking about a better way to explain it.

SO ADORABLE!

She wanted to jump into her arms and bind their aromas together so much that she was having a hard time keeping her mana in control, it was probably flashing in her eyes right now. But it seemed that the blonde was tired from the training since she didn't bring it up.

And on that note ended that terrible day.

She kept doing her work in the apartment, cleaning Elizabeth's dishes, washing her own...Doing the same on the laundry front...She found her destroyed shirt and bra in a box when going over the laundry... And decided to bury that as far away as possible from their apartment.

She knew enough ways to track someone with their belongings that she didn't want to risk burning or ripping them apart. Better to dissolve it in acid in a hole somewhere. She had experience doing that already anyway.

So a couple of days after that one day after the announcement speaking of midterms with the new student council president she found her next problem.

A (allegedly) handsome man was standing outside their apartment. Elizabeth was in her classes and she had just returned from buying groceries.

"Can I help you sir?" She said while the black-haired man turned to look at her. She fought hard and stopped breathing for a second when his smell hit her.

IT WAS SO DENSE!

He smelt as if one had condensed a thousand Elizabeths and shoved them in her nostrils!

Wait? A thousand Elizabeths?

"Oh hello, Lassy...I'm Elizabeth's Father." Said the man while nonchantally grabbing her grocery bags "I just needed to speak to her for something but forgot about getting a spare key." He said while laughing at himself.

This man was the husband of that monster?

"You must be Rosalina? My wife spoke about you being a good girl." He said while extending one of his hands for a handshake.

She shuddered at the mention of that woman, but the man pretended to not notice it and just smiled while waiting for her response.

"I'm Rosalina Singh indeed. A pleasure." If he was something like that woman, better to play it safe.

So she opted for a more subservient role, so she opened the door for the man "We can wait inside, Eli-Eli will return in a few hours." She said while inviting that man inside.

"Oh I see, well don't mind if I do." Said the man while placing the grocery bags inside the kitchen and then walking towards their living area.

She for her part grabbed the bags and started sorting them in their kitchen. "Can I help you with anything?" She said while racking her brains about how to win this man to her side.

"Doubt you have Beer...So water is fine." He said while looking at their apartment.

She was glad that she had gotten into the habit of cleaning after that incident with that woman. "I still need to go and buy some things for dinner, Sir." She said while thinking about her next move.

"So I can get you some Beer and if you want something to eat while speaking with Eli-Eli I can prepare it too." She said while bringing her notebook. She would win this man, even if she needed to be the best maid to ever walk the planet!

The man for his part just looked amused and gave her a list of dishes he enjoyed.

So after excusing herself, she scoured the stores and managed to get everything. The beer was the easiest one for some reason, since half of the students had a strong enough body to purge the toxins it seemed as if drinking beer wasn't a problem. She did need to prove that she could purge the beer from her system with magic. But that was easy enough.

So after making the preparations she ended up speaking with the man, he was...Weird in another way.

While the woman reeked of royalty...The man was more...simple.

He seemed more like an old grampa that fought in the war than the appearance of a young adult he had, and while he dressed like an actor from a drama he spoke straight to the point.

So when Elizabeth woke up and found her father inside their living area she excused herself before the man said anything. Elizabeth for her part didn't mind it either, since she was too busy snuggling at her father.

The lucky bastard.

So now instead of being teleported to the other side of the school she walked to the reception and left instructions so they would notify her when the visitor left.

She spent the rest of the day walking around the school thinking about that man, she didn't feel any hostility from him. If anything he was quite the good company. With some luck, he would protect her from that woman... She didn't hold much hope in that regard though.

After a couple of hours, she got a notification about the man leaving and so she returned to the apartment. Where she found the dishes in the kitchen...

She...Wasn't sure who where from who. So she resigned herself and washed them all with gusto...These ones she wouldn't destroy, unlike the ones that woman had left behind.

So before leaving for her bed, she went to check on Elizabeth as always, only to find her standing in the bed with tentacles made of shadows and a dragon on her back. "Oh sorry Eli-Eli...I thought you were sleeping!" She was about to say in reflex when she noticed the eyes of the blonde were closed.

She narrowed her eyes, this was different. None of her wards had warned her against foreign people here so that meant that thing was either summoned by a skill of that man (She discarded the notion since she doubted he would leave her daughter like this) or Elizabeth herself.

But while her Elizabeth was lazy, she doubted she was smart enough to instruct the lizard to change her clothes when she forgot about changing them herself.

In the end, the dragon answered the question by writing in the air using the shadows, so she beckoned the words toward herself. Why?

So she could watch her Elizabeth through the openings in the letter, her supple body showing through the half-open pajamas...

Her chest going up and down with her breathing...

Her lips while she mumbled in her sleep...

Her hands trying to grab one of those shadowy tentacles...

She felt her heart beating in her chest and the mana coursing at high speed in her body, her body while it was heating itself... Her eyes how they must be radiating the excess mana...

And the smell...She could smell that sweet aroma from Elizabeth permeating the room... The dragon also was emitting the same smell as Elizabeth, so that meant that he was one of the blonde's skills...

What she would do with one of those as Skill...Or as a spell...

"I...I can help...you...Undressing her " She said hoping the dragon wouldn't feel the duplicity in her.

He just nodded and moved her Elizabeth so she was looking straight at her.

So with the utmost care, she started undressing her, she had seen the goods previously obviously, and she had seen her sleeping before too (And had a recording of those events). But it was the first time she had seen her sleeping and so...Vulnerable.

Each motion was slow and with the utmost care, each time her skin touched hers she felt as if her heart would leap from her chest. But she managed to undress her in the end.

The dragon had a change of clothes at the ready, but she managed to convince him that changing the underwear wasn't needed. She wouldn't survive the night if she needed to put underwear on the blonde. She was feeling her rational mind leaving her body.

So with haste, she dressed the blonde in one silk gown, since that would be easier, and after leaving the room she cast a noise-canceling spell on the room.

She then proceeded to cast another one in the apartment so no noise would leak to the outside. Once that was done she breathed hard in and out.

She could see her reflection in one of the mirrors in the living room, her face was flushed red, her eyes were red, she was in ragged breaths. And her eyes were shining a pink beating heart. "That's new " even her voice had an underlying tone she hadn't heard before.

So she went to her room, undressed herself, and threw herself into the bed. She grabbed the pillow Elizabeth had used the night before breathed in hard and screamed into the pillow.

She wasn't getting much sleep this night. She could already feel her hands twitching.

Yeah, she was not getting any sleep tonight was she ?
