Kayden furrowed. “Who the fuxk is he? Doesn’t he look like that damn kid?”

“Sorry if it doesn’t live up to your expectations. This is my original appearance.”

“What the hell, Jenas? What did you do with your body?”

Jenas looked at them with interest.

Enoch and Kayden noticed that the condition of Margaret in Jenas’ arms was unusual.

They tried fighting Jenas, but he used magic. So Jenas left them easily and quickly disappeared.

Kayden found Tentathionem flowers covering the wall with a large magic circle forming right in front of it. It blocked the front like a wall as if protecting the flowers.

“Damn, what is this……?”

Looking at the magic circle pattern, it seems that there is protection magic.

Kayden belatedly remembered that Enoch and Margaret are not immune to poison.

“Shit! Your Highness! Your Highness! There are poisonous weeds here…! We must go up!”

However, it was already too late.

“Dammit.”

Perhaps the poison had spread, Enoch muttered a curse and fell down with a dry cough.

Kayden, who was about to approach him, stopped in place. This was because a light suddenly emitted from the magic circle blocking the Tentathionem flowers.

The magic circle rotated slowly. As a result, a light wind blew. Eunji spewed fire at the flowers, but the rotating magic circle swallowed all of the fire.

Kayden rushed to Enoch and then to Margaret.

“We’d better leave quickly.”

At that moment, the wind created by the rotating magic circle began to shake and sway the Tentathionem flowers that covered the wall. Immediately, the flower’s yellow pollen was sucked into the magic circle.

-whoosh.

The yellow pollen passing through the magic circle spread widely throughout the underground with an enormous gust of wind.

“Cough, cough, dammit.”

Kayden inhaled all the pollen and fell down.

Until just a moment ago, he had clearly been fine with smelling flowers, but those that passed through the magic circle had a different feel.

‘Dammit. Okay. If the purpose of that damn magic circle is to protect something, no wonder there’s a trap like this.’

It’s not poison, it’s more like magic.

‘Like an idiot, I can’t believe I didn’t even predict this beforehand.’

Kayden let out a hot breath as he felt heat rising to his cheeks. This maddening thirst for contact with others is a symptom of Tentathionem poisoning.

Just then, Enoch picked Margaret up and shouted at him, “Lord! Come to your senses!”

Enoch truly has extraordinary self-control. Kayden managed to control himself thanks to Enoch’s shout, and then he helped him carry Margaret with utmost patience.

As they tried to get outside to escape the pollen, they found a bedroom in the bunker.

It’d be better to stay in a closed room than outside where you don’t know when monsters will come while you’re poisoned.

Sure enough, when they went into the bedroom and closed the door, there was no longer the scent of Tentathionem flowers.

They immediately put Margaret on the bed.

That was all Enoch and Kayden could remember.

***

When I opened my eyes, I vaguely felt I was lying on a soft bed. My head hurts like it’s about to burst, my body is still hot, and my mind is fuzzy.

I couldn’t stand it because it tickled like threadworms crawling all over my body.

“Ugh.”

As I groaned in pain, I suddenly felt a friendly hand on my forehead. It felt like only the part of my forehead touched by someone’s hand felt cool and calm.

The joy of discovering an oasis passed by after struggling with a maddening thirst.

I impatiently grabbed the arm of someone whose hand was on my forehead. It felt like my body and mind were at peace once our skin touched, but it still wasn’t enough.

When I opened my eyes, I saw Enoch with flushed cheeks. He gritted his teeth and frowned as if he was holding back something.

I struggled to get up.

The frown on Enoch’s forehead deepened as he held my hand and helped me get up.

Then someone came up behind me and hugged me. I think it’s Kayden.

Looks like I’m not the only one who got poisoned by Tentathionem. These two men appeared to be poisoned as well.

In fact, my mind is clouded, so I don’t really know very well what I’m doing right now.

How did this situation come about? Everything is confusing.

After discovering the magic circle in the bunker and learning shocking facts, I got poisoned by Tentathionem, and I think I saw Jenas……

When did Enoch and Kayden come?

Is this a dream?

Kayden pulled me from behind and buried his face in my shoulder. There is Enoch in front of me. It’s the same situation as last time.

Sharing my body temperature with others made my breathing a little easier.

Even with his eyes burning with desire, Enoch did not rush to me. What incredible patience he has. Yes, Enoch is always like that. He always cares about me before himself.

‘But I can’t stand it anymore……’

I grabbed Enoch’s arm. In return, he embraced me carefully.

I stretched out my arms and hugged him, letting out a sigh of satisfaction. I rubbed my cheek against his chest and ran my hand across his back as if searching for the water of life.

But still, something is missing. I’m constantly thirsty. I feel something is missing and empty just by physical contact.

At that moment, heat rushed to my face.

“Ugh.”

A sudden shortness of breath made me grab my neck. As I twisted and wept with a distressed face, Enoch held my hand to calm me down.

“……Margaret, calm down.”

Enoch’s forehead touched mine.

His sharp nose gently brushed the tip of my nose, and his sweet golden eyes scanned my face. His body is hotter than mine.

Kayden’s body temperature was also quite high as he hugged me from behind as if holding his lifeline tightly.

Enoch, who was facing me, put his hand on my cheek. Passing out of breath, I followed him and put my hand on his cheek.

I felt a soft touch of lips on my shoulder. Kayden kept looking for something in me impatiently.

“Haa.”

I let out a satisfied sigh and heard Kayden’s low laugh. He continued to rub his cheek against my exposed shoulder.

If you’re this badly poisoned by Tentathionem, I know that simply waiting for time to pass won’t solve it.

Enoch sitting in front of me seemed to be enduring this with the same mentality he used to suppress his trauma. However, there would be limits to continuing to endure like this.

Enoch said he overcame his trauma because of me.

When did he start looking at me and caring about me?

“……Enoch.”

Enoch’s golden eyes reached me.

“I did think you might really be a different person. Quite often.”

“I am not confused though. What I like is who you are now. I want you to know that.”

Will the feelings contained in those words still remain the same?

I’m still very confused by the shock I just got.

Am I Lee Jin-ju or Margaret?

Even I don’t know who I am, so can complete strangers say they like me?

While thinking about that with a clouded mind, Kayden, who pressed his lips against my shoulder, called out to me in a whisper-like voice.

“Margaret.”

His low voice tickled my ear, and my throat heated up involuntarily. Kayden grabbed my chin and turned it to himself.

Then her soft lips touched mine.

It was a gentle kiss.

The moment our lips met, the shortness of breath that seemed to be driving me crazy began to subside.

“Ha… Margaret… I like you so much…”

The gentle yet reckless movement made all the worries and hesitations I felt a moment ago fade away.

Unbeknownst to me, hot tears welled up in my eyes.

I hope it is sincere.

Would he like me more if I were the real Margaret? Or would he like me more if I were someone else?

No, if I tell the truth, wouldn’t they hate me for deceiving them?

I hate myself for thinking that when Kayden wants me like this, as if all the thoughts I’m thinking are useless thoughts.

Kayden narrowed his brows as if he couldn’t hold it in any longer and let out a painful groan. He lowered his head towards me again.

The moment his face came to my nose, Enoch pulled me as if asking me to look at him.

“Margaret.”

His gaze slowly swept across my forehead to my nose and down to my lips.

Kayden stared at my lips regretfully. Normally, he would have exploded in anger, but Kayden turned his head away indifferently.

“Ah.”

Then he kissed me gently on the nape of my neck. Warm and careful as if he was treating someone special. I closed my eyes involuntarily at the tickling feeling.

Enoch drew closer to me and touched my cheek with a careful hand. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him.

“Margaret……”

Enoch looked at me with a face full of longing for something. His lips parted, but in the end, he gritted his teeth and said nothing. His sharp eyebrows narrowed as if enduring pain.

I asked him carefully, “Are you okay……?”

Actually, I’m not sane either.

“Do I look okay?”

I was stunned by those words and averted my eyes. He pulled my chin as if asking me not to avoid him.

“I’m not fine. Not at all. Even if it wasn’t for that damn flower… I am on the verge of going crazy.”

I could see him swallow hard as if to suppress his emotions.

“I can’t breathe because it’s painful just imagining how scared you must have been by yourself.”

He closed his eyes tightly with a pained face. “I will hold your hand again and again. So do whatever you want. I will be waiting.”

Enoch has always been careful and considerate of me.

Kayden is the type to put action over words, but he’s the opposite.

So maybe that’s why. If that’s the case, I think it would be nice if I reach out to him first. I stretched out my hands and grabbed his cheeks. Enoch’s eyes widened in surprise at my sudden action.

I slowly lowered my head towards him and closed my eyes. Before long, our lips met, and our hot, moist breaths intertwined.

“Haa.”

Enoch’s suppressed sigh escaped his lips. Following him, I also let out a hot sigh. This was a reaction that had nothing to do with Tentathionem, so I felt a little embarrassed. It felt like my mind, which had been foggy, was clearing up.

Kayden pulled my stomach with his thick arms and held me tight.

“Margaret, me too… I can’t be without you either.”

Kayden pulled me again and Enoch’s face slowly moved away.

“I don’t like you just because you are Margaret. I only like you because it is ‘you’.”

Kayden, still behind me, leaned towards me and whispered so as if he had peeked into my heart.

He pulled my chin, making only my head gently turn towards him. As his close face came into view, my wet lips were swallowed up by him.

Kayden didn’t close his eyes when he kissed me. He stared at me with his red eyes burning as if he wouldn’t miss a single expression on my face.

He was like a hungry beast.

Enoch who hugged me from the front gently pressed his lips against my wrist. The soft touch of his lips roamed the inside of my wrist.

My head gradually cleared up and my mind gradually calmed down. Both Enoch and Kayden must have been in deep trouble, but they showed utmost patience. I could feel so much warm consideration that tears came out without my noticing. I am very grateful to them.

Then, Kayden, realizing that I was thinking about something else, grabbed the back of my neck with his big hand.

As my head tilted slightly back, Kayden leaned towards me, swallowing my lips so deep that it made me hard to breathe.

Enoch, Kyden, and I are all going crazy.

Tentathionem is what made us this way.

This is because of poison.

Because of poison……

Really……

Is this because of poison?
