Margaret looked at Kayden and pointed at the wooden post.

“Please seal it.”

“Give me your hand.”

As Enoch stepped back, Kayden took Margaret’s hand and drew a magic circle in the air. A bluish light followed Kayden’s fingers as he flicked them in the air.

In time, the completed magic circle manifested along the cliff edge. Immediately, the magic split into two, one penetrated the wooden post where they are, and the other penetrated the post on the other side.

“Let Lord Kayden cross first and then Margaret. No one should be left behind.”

After everyone agreed with Enoch’s words, they stood in front of the rope in turn.

“Be careful,” said Margaret to Kayden, who was leaving first.

Kayden smiled leisurely and gave the answer “Don’t worry,” before finally leaving.

Fortunately, Kayden arrived safely on the other side.

“You two be careful,” said Margaret, turning to Ruzef and Enoch with a worried face. Eunji, clinging to her body, looked at them with his tongue flicking out.

It was Margaret they were most worried about. But Margaret, unaware of their feelings, crossed over first while worrying about them.

Seeing her safe and sound on the other side, Enoch was relieved and eased his worries.

After Ruzef crossed safely, it was Enoch’s turn. Just as he had just reached the middle–

-dududududu.

There was an ominous sound of something moving under the cliff. The inside of the cave shook.

“Enoch! Come quickly! Come on!”

Along with Margaret’s urgent cry, he saw the appearance of a centipede-type monster climbing up the cliff. It was as gigantic as the bodies of two or three adult men put together.

The centipede leaped from the bottom of the cliff and cut the rope in half with its torso. Enoch firmly grasped the snapped rope.

“Enoch!!”

With Margaret’s screams, Enoch fell down.

However, thanks to not letting go of the rope, he managed to save his life while hanging from the cliff.

He could see Margaret, Kayden, and Ruzef pulling the rope from the top of the cliff.

Then, something flashed beneath his feet.

At a glance, he could see a colorful flower field at the bottom of the dark cliff.

‘……am I hallucinating?’

A man was lying in the middle of a flower field, and he looked a lot like Diego.

‘I have to tell Margaret.’

“Enoch! Enoch!”

Only then did Enoch raise his head. Margaret, with teary eyes, called out to him desperately.

Climbing the cliff is not that difficult. But as he looked at Margaret’s despairing face, a strange feeling of satisfaction swept through his body.

Seeing Margaret cry for him, he felt strangely good to the point where he felt sorry for her. I wish you would cry more for me.

Enoch was taken aback when he realized that there was such a disquieting and sadistic side in him. But in his head, the desire to make Margaret cry and keep her looking at him kept on rising.

I don’t understand. Are you sure you’re going to another world when you look at me with that face now?

At that time, Kayden appeared to be trying to use magic by borrowing Margaret’s mana.

Enoch climbed the cliff in a little haste. Climbing by rope isn’t too difficult, and Margaret’s mana can’t be wasted on that.

Enoch, who climbed the cliff without difficulty, sighed and stroked the nape of his stiff neck.

Margaret came over and hugged him as soon as he hit the ground. Margaret’s body trembled as she wrapped her arms around his back.

Enoch, who had taken what had just happened lightly, felt sorry for Margaret and stretched out his arms to embrace her.

Margaret crying for him is so provocative, but he also hates it when she is sad.

“I know he’s back from the brink of death, but don’t show too much affection in front of me, huh?”

Kayden, who was watching them, said with an expression that showed his patience to the fullest. Only then did Margaret let go of Enoch’s embrace.

Enoch looked at Margaret with a regretful face for a moment, then looked down the cliff.

As he climbed the cliff, the height increased, so he couldn’t see the bottom as well as before, but he had to share with the others that he saw a figure that looked like Diego.

After hearing his story, they all decided to go down the cliff instead of continuing into the cave.

Even though he knew there was no other way, Enoch couldn’t help feeling that things were going rather strangely.

It was a little ominous.

I’ve done rock climbing before. During my Lee Jin-ju days, I enjoyed quite a few sports as hobbies, and climbing was one of them.

After listening to Enoch’s story, the cliff wasn’t as deep as I thought. Fortunately, there is a wooden post firmly embedded in a rock, so it is perfect for tying a rope.

I gathered as many ropes as I had. It was to tie a rope to the body to go down.

“Are we really going down?” asked Ruzef as she narrowed his brows.

“Even if we move forward, we don’t know what will happen. Not even sure if there is an exit. And above all, we came all the way here to find Sir Diego.”

“Sorry. My thoughts were short.”

Ruzef quickly apologized in a guilty voice.

“Anyway, I don’t know why you always ask back every time Margaret talks.”

When Kayden clicked his tongue and muttered, Ruzef made a teary face and kept his mouth closed while looking at me.

First of all, we hurriedly moved because we had to find Diego as soon as possible. We all went down the cliff together after wrapping the ropes around our waists.

There is a flower field at the bottom of the cliff just like Enoch said.

Just in case it’s some kind of Tentathionem, we first covered our noses. But fortunately, it seems not a poisonous flower, but an ordinary one.

“Still, don’t let your guard down.”

Seeing my expression, Kayden warned me. I nodded and looked around again.

However, Diego, whom Enoch had seen lying in the flower field, was nowhere to be found.

Kayden asked Enoch with a puzzled face, “Could it be that you were hallucinating?”

“Well, it could be.”

After answering that, Enoch stroked his chin and looked around with a thoughtful face.

“But can you say that the ghosts the Archbishop saw right before Sir Diego disappeared were hallucinations? If I’ve seen something similar to that, I’ll have to check what it was.”

Enoch is right. Now that we don’t even know exactly where Diego is, it’s important to look at any clues.

Jenas confirmed the location of Margaret and the others through the eyes of the centipede-type monster.

They seemed to be in a cave heading to ‘there’.

Something interesting is about to happen. The end of the experiment is now near.

Jenas, who took the form of a young boy, opened the door to rest with an excited face. There’s a chair placed on top of the magic circle and Anata sitting sealed in the chair.

Jenas held out a coconut to her. Anata lifted her head with difficulty and frowned heavily when she saw the coconut.

“Aren’t you hungry?”

At his question, Anata looked at Jenas. His handsome face came into her field of vision.

Gritting her teeth, she said to her only brother, “Jenas, you have to unseal me so I can eat.”

“I will feed you.”

When Jenas’ innocent reply came back, Anata burst out laughing.

“Hey, are you going to keep doing this?”

“Anata.”

Jenas split the coconut with his small hands. It was a strength that could not be imagined in the form of a child. Then he brought the split coconut closer to Anata’s mouth.

“Stop it, I’m sad. Drink this.”

“You are sad? Then stop.”

Stop this shit.

Jenas paused. The corners of his mouth, which had been slightly raised, slowly came down and his red eyes flashed.

“Stop…? Stop you say?”

The coconut Jenas was holding fell to the floor and rolled over the magic circle.

Anata bit her lip seeing the angry Jenas. She knew she had offended him, but she had no intention of taking back what she said.

She was completely sick and tired. She really wanted to stop killing people now.

Anata still has that level of ethical awareness, but Jenas doesn’t.

She glared at him with venomous eyes. “If we really succeed in the experiment, we only do good things for those bastards. You know that too.”

While they, the designers of the experiment, are going insane being trapped on the island, ‘those people’ are enjoying themselves by pushing only sacrifices from the outside.

“I am Jenas Igran Rohade.”

Jenas looked down at Anata with arrogant eyes as if laughing at her. As if God looked down on a poor human being.

“I have a backup plan,” he said in a relaxed tone.

Anata narrowed her brows and bit her lip tightly.

“Trust me.”

At Jenas’ words that followed, Anata exploded in anger. “How can I trust you? I’m asking you to unseal me!”

“It’s for your sake.”

Jenas slowly sat down on his knees.

“Anata, you are too attached to the test subjects now.”

Looking up at her from below, he almost looked like a pitiful puppy now. Anata was at a loss for words.

“So don’t do this.”

Jenas, who spoke slowly, continued to reprimand Anata.

“You are not in a state where you can make a rational decision right now.”

“You’ve been in contact with them too. Don’t you think you are the one who’s getting too attached?”

Jenas fell silent at Anata’s words for a moment.

However, with that brief response, Anata became convinced.

It’s clear that Jenas is interested in Young Lady Floné.

A soul from another dimension. That sense of heterogeneity would be enough to intrigue Jenas.

She knew it. Jenas would definitely keep an eye on her.

Suppressing the smile that was trying to spread across her mouth, Anata continued, “Think carefully. Are you really not?”
