Peaceful days passed by since I beat down those sea serpents. I am still trekking continuously aiming for land.
Thankfully, a golem body sure is convenient. I do not need to eat and I do not need to breathe either. If I am not a golem, I would be long dead. Still, what is the power source of this body? Is mana present in a world where magic exists? Thinking about it would not solve the problem so I’ll stop.

It might me by imagination but for the last few days, I felt a gaze on me. A stalker? Maybe the sea serpents are coming to seek me again? It would be conspicuous if such huge body comes nearby but I can’t see anything in the vicinity.
It would be convenient to have detection abilities like sonar but unfortunately, I do not have such handy skills.
Occasionally, some creatures approach. Hermit crabs and they are kinda cute. But because I cannot talk, 【Interpretation】 does not activate. I would be satisfied if only I could communicate.
They’re cute when I poked them and they tucked inside their shells. Watching these hermit crabs satisfies me.
After 2 days.
Walk straight. It’s probably my imagination but I’ve felt that the light influx above have slightly got weaker. Maybe I’m walking on the opposite direction.
No, it’s not like that. Walking straight to any direction nonstop should be okay.
As I renewed my determination to continue, a seaweed drifted pass me. I haven’t encountered seaweeds around here before. It’s kinda suspicious.
That said, touching the seaweed would probably trigger some event. Let the sleeping dogs lie1. Let’s not touch it and just proceed walking.

As I thought, this seaweed seems to be an event flag because when you look closely, there is a seaweed in front of me. This thing is not meant to just float here.
It randomly appears in front of me as if it was its purpose all along. Yup, it really is a trap. Let’s just avoid it and continue walking.

Somehow, the seaweed feels dejected. In addition, the distance between us began slowly narrowing. Just as suspected, it is no doubt that this seaweed is sentient.
Look at it, openly following exactly 1m behind me. After poking a hermit crab, I moved forward a few steps and raised my face, in front of me – the seaweed.
If this is the case… Seaweed, I challenge you! Will you break first or will you knock me down faster? Alright, let’s do this!
