The day after we started moving the wood in, I started building the stables right away.

"Okay, I'm going to clear the ground, so can you guys get the posts ready?

Okay!

There are five people here who responded. Those five are the members who are not adventurers yet.

As expected, it would be a waste of time for all of us to go out and get the wood, and leaving the wood behind would also raise concerns about theft.

That's why a few of us, including me, have stayed behind and shared the construction and delivery duties.

The remaining members of the team would take turns, but I would have to stay behind to think about it, since I would have to do the ground clearance work.

I quickly worked my magic to clear the ground and embed the pillars in the ground and fix them in place.

Then I put up the pillars, build the roof, build the walls, and finally the doors.

This process took about a week to complete.

''It's done!''

That's pretty good, isn't it?

Yeah. Now it's up to the queens to decide if they like it or not?

Now that the stables were nearing completion, everyone was working on it. Therefore, the squires were all there, so I immediately let them in.

The inside was made wide with spatial magic, so even if two horses and four wolves entered, it did not feel small.

The followers walked around inside, and it seemed that each of them decided on a space to sleep.

We made the bed there by laying down straw and so on.

"Woof!

"Baboon.

Apparently, the squires liked it too.

Well, the queens also stay at the orphanage, so they only stay here once in a while.

After that, we'll set up the water-producing magic tools, build a water drinking hole, and the stables are complete for now!

Next, we began to build the fence of the grounds.

As with the stables, we took it in turns to divide into two teams, one to build the wall and the other to move the wood.

At first we had planned to make it about a meter high, but we figured it would be too exposed, so we decided to make it about two meters high.

So we had to carry more wood than we had planned.

Thanks to that, or rather, because of that, we finally had a thief.

Regardless of their actual level and ability, if a bunch of young guys, mixed with kids, carried a lot of wood and piled it up on a plot of land with nothing but stables and tents around them, they'd want to steal it.

'Oh no, I really didn't think you'd get it.

'Well, you don't look like much and are you a recent adventurer?

When I went to the property in the morning, I found a thief lying on the ground tied up by a member of the guard charge.

When I looked at the thief lying around, I certainly didn't see his face before. He doesn't look like the town's ragtag adventurer.

He must have seen us somewhere and went after us.

'But the Queen caught him all by herself. You're the man!

Apparently the thief, who apparently came in the middle of the night, was knocked down by the queen before he could steal. When the kids on duty noticed the squealing and left the tent, it seems he was already passed out. As expected, it was too much trouble to take him to the stuffing station in the middle of the night, so they were waiting for us to come.

We handed the thieves over to the soldiers on the way to the forest to bring the wood and resumed building the fence.

Once the fence is completed, it will provide some security, but we'll have to think about security not only now, but in the future as well.

After that, there were no more burglars, and the fence was completed in about a week.

I drew a magic circle to strengthen the durability, fire resistance, and fireproofing that my grandmother had taught me, and the wall construction was finished.
