"What do you think he said to make her leave like that?"

Su Lian arrives outside before remembering that she doesn't have her car with her. Han Yuan was the one who drove them here directly from the abandoned building.

"Fine." Su Lian says resentfully and they get inside his car. Her mood is still quite bitter. She sits quietly in the back seat with Su Yichen snuggled beside her. Once again, they journey in silence.
"I'm sorry." Han Yuan says after a long while.
"I'm sorry for how I treated you four years ago. I'm sorry for letting you leave in tears. I'm sorry for not finding you until now and letting you raise our son alone... I'm sorry for him getting kidnapped today."
"I have made so many mistakes and I don't deserve a second chance, but Su Lian, please give me one. I want to be a part of both your lives, not just his. I don't feel safe with you living in this neighborhood either. Will you move in with me."
