It didn't take long for Lorien and Saigai long to reach the inn with their quick pace
After going through the procedures, talking to the owner, and paying each got a room to stay in
This inn is very small and simple, it's composed of a bunch of rooms parallel to each other, there are only 10 or so, it can even be called a house with more rooms very different from the style of western hotels, this could also be because it's just in a rural area
But right now Lorien didn't bother thinking about any of this, as at the moment he got shown his room he made an excuse saying that he wanted to rest for a bit and then quickly entered it
Sitting on the futon Lorien focused all of his attention on the remaining blood red aura that was sticking to his body like a maggot
[Dream/Reality]: Reality into Dreams
As soon as Lorien used his ability it quickly became apparent that he was being worried for nothing
The blood-red aura instantly got erased and transformed into floating dream energy, and as usual, before Lorien did anything, this energy got instantly absorbed by the world
With this problem solved, Lorien can finally relax and take Saigai around with him and be completely confident
'Thank god, it would have been too shameful to just abandon her after all that convincing I did to make her follow me, it would have been a total dick move'
Feeling a bit guilty he decided to go and invite Saigai for a date as compensation
'Yeah...it's compensation...'
Of course, if he were to be sent back in time he would still make the same decision
After shamelessly convincing himself that he was compensating her and not just wanting to go on a date, Lorien walked out of the room with wide steps and a face full of confidence towards the room next to him
When Lorien went to 'rest' 5 minutes earlier Saigai did the same, honestly, she probably needed this alone time more than ever right now as it was a very hectic day for her
First, she ran away from her town, lost consciousness on the road, was saved by some stranger and then in a daze she decided to follow him
Thinking of this Lorien who was about to call out for her stopped for a second hesitating on whether to call her now or just let her rest, after pondering for a moment he turned around and walked back to his room closing the door behind
'I'll look for her in an hour or so, she probably needs to clear her mind and rest now, everyone needs some personal space..'

Meanwhile, On the road close to the house that Lorien created yesterday a group of 5 people were walking down this road
It appears that they are merchants as they had a carriage full of goods towed by a horse
"We'll reach the next town in an hour or so, I think we should stay there for the night before continuing the next day for the next town, we left quite late today I don't think we can reach our destination before dark..."
Suggested one of the men while the others listened
After being silent for a moment the man in the middle finally spoke
"I agree...the night is dangerous"
As he said this fear was clearly visible on his face, apparently he was quite the firm believer in the existence of demons
Seeing this one of the 3 other men laughed jokingly as he teased
"Hahaha, are you afraid of those folklores? they are just legends, but hey if it comforts you then so be it"
Just as the man in the middle was about to respond one of the others suddenly spoke as he pointed forward
"Umm..Is that a house?"
"House? what house, there are no houses here"
The man in the middle responded instinctively, they had passed through this road hundreds of times, they know it as well as the back of their hands
But when he looked at the place his old friend pointed towards he instantly became silent, the same was true for the others who were about to respond with the same answer
After being silent for a couple of moments they started discussing it
"Was there ever a house here?"
"No"
"First time I've seen it"
"Maybe it was built recently..."
"Who would build a house here in the middle of nowhere?"
"Who knows..."
"Should we check it out?"
Hearing this all the others became silent, but it appears curiosity got the better of them as one of them finally spoke
"We're going to pass by anyway, let's check it out"
And with that, they walked towards the house with the horse still walking slowly behind them
Standing in front of the house they couldn't help but marvel at it, this is the first time they have seen such a house, a completely different style from the ones they saw before
After marveling at it for a couple of moments one of them yelled
"Hello!!! anybody here??"
After waiting for a minute and hearing no response, one of them walked towards the door and knocked lightly
"Helloo!!"
But the result was the same, seeing this one of them couldn't help but joke around
"Hahhaha, Could it be a ghost house?"
Smiling in response the other shook their head at the guy, this guy likes to joke about such things, earlier he laughed about the demons and now about ghosts
After calling out a couple more times and hearing no response they soon gave up
"No one is here, maybe the owner went for the town"
"Let's not waste more time then, let's go"
But then just as they were about to turn around and head away something happened
In the shocked eyes of the 5 guys, the house in front of them started twisting slowly, then as if a glitch appeared in reality it popped out of existence, it was if it was never there
Seeing this all of them froze in shock, even the horse who dragging the cart had his eyes widen in shock
It took them a moment to react as they started shaking in horror, one of them even fell down to the ground, his feet simply couldn't hold him anymore
A chill ran down their spine and their hair stood at their end, right now the sun didn't feel as warm as it usually did, it was as if they were suddenly thrown into the antarctic with needles poking every inch of their skin
A couple of seconds later one of them was finally able to barely more as he yelled
"Ghoost!! RUNN!!!"
This woke up the others who also started running away from where, they stumbled as they ran, but even then they ran very quickly, even completely forgetting the horse and the carriage full of goods
And so, since that day, the legend of the 'Demonic House' that appears and disappears in the middle of the road will be known far and wide
Someone even said "you want my treasure, you can have it I left everything I gathered together in that house. Now you'll just have to find it!", *Cough* *Cough* Sorry wrong world

Lorien who had no idea that he caused an Ptsd to 5 passers-by, and created a new legend, was walking around town with Saigai, they were talking and joking around
Well, Lorien was the one who did most of the talking as Saigai was still a bit closed up, but it got better as they talked
This walk was quite fun for Lorien as he got to experience this era more closely and integrate into it
But everything has to come to an end no matter how fun it is, seeing that it was nearing sunset, they finally decided to go find a place to eat and then head back to the inn
Lorien was quite curious about the food here as he had never tasted it
After having dinner they didn't wait any longer as there wasn't much time before it becomes completely dark
They quickly reached the inn as it was very close to where they ate
Looking at Saigai who was walking towards her room and said before he also went to rest
"Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!"
