Under the golden cherry blossom tree that stood tall in the villa's backyard, a silver-haired man could be sitting there, his right hand raised as a small ping-pong-ball-sized dark bead of churning energy floated on top of it.
This tiny ball is the result of Lorien's none stop labor during the previous day and night; He had actually worked none stop to make it, only pausing to recover his energy for a while before resuming his work.
Taking into account his current Source Energy reserves and the rate he had worked at, yesterday's labor equated to at least 1 month of his work in the previous world, when of course using his previous Source Energy reserves.
Considering this, It's no wonder he was able to create this [Seed of Immunity] in such a short period of time which would have been previously impossible.
'Done!'
Looking at this 'Seed' floating on top of his hand, a huge grin silently appeared on Lorien's face.
"I really didn't anticipate gaining such a useful thing in this world, I have an intuition that this would be very helpful later on in my journey."
"Right now, it'll make me immune to the zombie virus, ordinary diseases, and poisons; and even if I get contaminated by anything higher than that, it'll quickly evolve."
"Even though all of those aren't much of a danger if I were to use my ability, but it's better to have a skill that specializes in this, after all, I don't know what sort of circumstances I may find myself in."
Finally dealing with one of the biggest issues he faced in this world, Lorien felt satisfied.
Now, all that is left is just creating a few other copies, one for Saigai while the others will be stored for later use in case they are required.
Closing his eyes, Lorien started estimating the current amount of Source Energy inside his body.
'I've already rested for a while now, this amount should be enough for me to create about 5 or 6 additional 'seeds'.'
'Thankfully, it doesn't take much energy to make them compared to the cost of Research and development.'
Finishing his estimations, Lorien quickly began using his power to create them; and in a matter of seconds, small dark orbs began appearing one after the other, floating next to the formerly made one.
This process continued until there were a total of 6 'seeds' floating in front of Lorien, only then did he stop.
Observing them for a moment, Lorien quickly put away the 5 newly made seeds, only leaving one in front of him.
"Time to eat the fruits of my labor!"
With a wave of his hand, this remaining dark ball instantly merged into his body causing a transformation to ensue.
Even though his mutation is very minute, it is in fact very comprehensive, there was no cell in his body that wasn't modified.

"Huh? So fast?"
Opening his previously closed eyes, Lorien felt surprised, this is the first time he had a transformation this quick.
'It only took a minute or so, moreover, there was no pain, it just felt itchy.'
'Whatever, this is actually better!'
Standing up, Lorien then looked at the zombie imprisoned nearby inside of the glass box.
'It appears that I don't need you anymore!'
Using his power, Lorien quickly erased this zombie, he had enough of looking at its hideous countenance all this time; Now, he could finally get rid of it.
"Yup! Now the place feels cleaner!"
Stretching lazily, Lorien's eyes narrowed as he then turned his head toward the house.
"This Doom Energy, So she's back at it again."
*Yaaawn*
"I'll give this seed to her then go talk to Saeko..."
Deciding on this, Lorien made his way towards the house, and more precisely, the living room.
There, he found Saigai laying lazily on the couch as waves of energy kept entering her body none stop.
Seeing this, Lorien couldn't help but roll his eyes.
'She's really enjoying herself...'
Not wanting to disturb her, Lorien silently found a place to sit as he waited patiently for her to finish.
Thankfully, this wait didn't last long as a couple of minutes later, Saigai opened her eyes and looked at Lorien.
"Sorry for making you wait!"
"No problem, by the way, how much is your current perception range." Asked Lorien curiously.
"It reached 221 meters!"
"So in two days, you had an improvement of 37 meters, that's pretty good."
"Yeah, I still can't believe it..."
Chat with Saigai for a while, Lorien then finally took one of the 'seeds' he had previously hidden and threw it towards her.
"Catch!"
Subconsciously raising her hand in response, the 'seed' instantly merged into it which caused a transformation to instantly commence inside of her body.
"Huh?!"
Startled, Saigai's eyes widened in shock at this sudden occurrence, but after looking at Lorien, she quickly calmed down and relaxed her body.
'He won't hurt me...'
Thankfuly, Saigai's transformation was nearly identical to Lorien's; and in just a minute, it ended.
"What was that?" Said Saigai as she perceived this.
"It's the ability I spoke to you about yesterday."
"You finished it so quickly?!"
"Yes, It isn't that complex."
"At least give me a warning next time..."
"Hahahaha! Sorry! Sorry!"
Looking at Lorien's insincere apology, Saigai couldn't help but angrily roll her eyes at him.
Deciding not to make any more fun of her, Lorien reluctantly stood up and started walking away as he spoke.
"I have one more thing to do, I'll be back in a while."

Walking out of the villa, Lorien started walking toward the apartment that housed the survivors.
Reaching it, he scanned the place and quickly locked into the flat that Saeko is living in, and there, he could tell that there was someone else with her.
'Shizuka...'
'Why are they both always together...'
'Well, doesn't matter, I'll also call her, I need someone to deliver food to the survivors anyways.'
Thinking of this, Lorien didn't hesitate any longer as he finally spoke, his voice traveling all that distance and sounding right next to them without alerting any other survivor.
"Come down."
"AHH!!!"
Hearing a voice sound right next to her, Shizuka started looking around in fright.
"W-Who..."
"This voice..."
But contrary to Shizuka's panicked response, Saeko was much calmer as after getting surprised, she quickly calmed down as she remember the owner of this voice.
"We'll be right there" Responded Saeko even while not knowing if Lorien could even hear her.
"Huh?"
Confused, Shizuka still didn't know what was happening, all she could do was dazedly watch Saeko talk to the air.
"Let's go."
"Ah! Where are we going??"
