Ah… uuhm… Wh… where am I? Oh… I think I fell asleep after we ate some more cake last night. Belinda was gathering her thoughts as she was waking up. But… wait… If I’m waking up only now, does that mean… Aah, shit… That was… that was one hell of a dream. I can hardly believe it. I was having a ride of my life… Damn… And he turned out to be quite a stud too, even if it was in my dream.

Belinda exhaled deeply and a satisfied smile sprung up on her face. She still had her eyes closed, but was almost awake. She tried to stretch in order to wake her still slumbering muscles before getting up, but instantly felt she wasn’t the only one laying on the couch. Not only that. She could feel with her body she was laying on top of someone.

Huh? Why do I feel… I’m laying on top of someone? Oh, shit! Don’t tell me I’m actually laying on ‘him’? Belinda became tense suddenly.

All of the dizziness evaporated in an instant, removing whatever remaining sleepiness was still left inside of her. That just removed all the doubts she had about her last thought. She could feel her body was touching someone’s else body, with her hand also hugging a naked man’s chest. Belinda wanted to believe she was still sleeping, but she already knew that was not the case anymore. And this time, she didn’t want to take any chances. Belinda lifted her head up and opened her eyes. Her gaze froze on the spot as soon as she saw Narias looking back at her.

“Good morning,” he greeted her with a smile.

“Good… morning,” because Narias sounded so casual, she felt a little at ease. But there was still this lingering feeling in her gut that something didn’t feel right. “Did I fall… Huh? Wha…”

As soon as Belinda pulled away and tried to sit up, the night gown, that Narias had put on her last night, slid off her shoulders, leaving her completely naked. Her pajama dress was still happily resting at the bottom of her waist, so she was basically naked. She quickly peered at Narias again, with her eyes running down his naked body. A mild shiver ran down her spine.

“Sorry, I… I must’ve fallen asleep without… realizing it…” Belinda said in half whisper, averting her gaze away. She slowly pulled her pajama dress up, pretending like nothing was actually happening. “Ahm… About… last night… This might sound crazy, but… I had this dream and…”

“Ah, yeah…” Narias blushed, rubbing his cheek with one finger. “I had… a dream as well.”

“Shit…” Belinda threw one of her hands on her face it almost looked like she slapped herself. “It… it wasn’t a dream, was it? We… we’ve actually done it?”

“Y… yeah…” Narias confirmed it, looking slightly away.

“Shit,” Belinda cursed again.

Shit… Shit! Shit! SHIIIIT! She was cussing in her head. No way! No fu… Aargh… Damn it! How could I’ve… This is…

“Miss… Salroze?” Narias noticed her face becoming pale for some reason, even if she still had her hand over her face. But it didn’t look like Belinda heard him.

This is the worst. How could I have let myself go loose like that? This will be the end of me. Belinda’s mind was attacked by every possible accusation she could think of. I’m his teacher and I… For Lightning Blast’s sake… A dream? What was I thinking? Damn, yes, I know. It was the best that could’ve had happened to me and I loved it, but… he’s my student. Sigh… I can kiss my job goodbye now. Dang it. Forget me, when the word gets out, he’ll be the one to pay the price for it. He is one of the top first-year students in the whole academy. They’ll definitely jump into the wrong conclusions that I’ve been messing with his grades in exchange for the extra treatment to satisfy my sexual needs. Every other teacher will fall under the suspicion as well. Those assholes were looking for a reason to mess with our academy and now they’ll get one. This is… I… I…

“Miss Salroze? Miss Salroze?!” Narias was almost shouting to get her attention.

“Huh? Wha…” she snapped out of her self-blame world when Narias grabbed her by the hand.

“Miss Salroze? Are you ok, Miss Salroze?” He sat up, pulling himself towards her.

“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry,” Belinda held on to her head, filled with anxiety and distress.

“What are you saying, Miss Salroze? What’s happening? Are you feeling unwell?” Narias was becoming really worried about her.

“I’m sorry… I don’t know what came over me. I wanted to believe it was a dream… even when I knew it wasn’t. I… I’m your teacher and… I have ruined everything. Now you… and Jean… and the academy…” Belinda’s voice trembled. She was clearly distressed about it.

Wait, wait, what? What is she talking about? She looks really distressed. Narias was trying to understand. He was quick witted, so he quickly put two and two together to get a general idea of what she was talking about. Hold on, is she blaming herself for what happened between us last night? But… why would she? I really… enjoyed it and… Oh wait, if she’s really blaming herself for it then I need to…

Narias and Belinda had the best time of their lives, but now that the wild, passionate waves have subsided, and the next day’s reality sank in, it was Belinda who took it the wrong way. She was blaming herself for what happened, thinking she might’ve ruined the future of a student, and what’s worse, the whole incident could also bring extremely dire consequences to the whole academy.

Narias on the other hand, had no complaints, or regrets for that matter. In all honesty, he was attracted to Belinda from the moment he saw her. She was his teacher at the academy and he was disciplined enough to keep himself in check, but that didn’t change the fact that she was an attractive and gorgeous-looking woman. Narias had no idea what was going on in Belinda’s head, but he was certain she was beating herself up for what happened.

“I’m sorry, I need to… I have to…” Belinda had no idea what to do, or how to explain herself. She was thinking all the wrong thought when she felt Narias hugging her gently. “Huh? Wha…”

“It’s ok. You’ve done nothing wrong, and I wouldn’t change what happened between us for anything else,” he told her in a calm, loving voice.

“Huh? What?” His words seemed to reach her. “What… did you just say?”

“I said, I loved every moment of it. I will cherish the memory of our time together for the rest of my life,” his words were so serious, and so intense, it forced a blush on Belinda’s cheeks.

“Are you… serious?” She gazed into his eyes, coming back to her senses.

“Of course. Even if we call what happened between us a dream, I’d still think it was the best dream of my life,” he lightened his grip around her back, feeling Belinda was getting relaxed.

“Hmph…” Belinda averted her flushed face away but still couldn’t escape Narias’s hug. “Aren’t you… a smooth talker?”

“Ah, well…” her comment made Narias feel embarrassed in return.

“Sigh… Thank you,” she finally seemed to be back at being herself. “But… I’m your teacher… and you’re my student. Things might get complicated going forward…”

“Ah, right… It’s probably… against academy’s policies for a teacher and their student to…” Narias had no idea if it was actually true.

“Not really. The academy has no policy that forbids relationships between the teachers and the students. In all fairness, there are students and teachers in some academies who use the so called ‘Special Treatment’ to their benefits. It’s just that… situation in Reina’s Magic Academy is rather tense right now. There’s so much stuff going on. Keeping Magic Dungeon exploration open is only one issue of many. I know you’ve heard about it, and you know how fast rumors spread. If… if what happened between us comes out in the open, it’ll be easy to twist the story the wrong way and use it against Jean. Unfortunately, there are people who want to hurt our academy and I can’t allow myself to add more coals to the fire,” Belinda was open with her explanation.

“Right,” he wasn’t really surprised to hear that. Narias lifted his eyes up, thinking about something. “In that case, we can play along and treat what happened between us as a dream. I mean, people can’t blame others for the dreams they have.”

“A dream? Hmph… You really come up with some crazy ideas,” Belinda chuckled at his suggestion, but didn’t say she was against it.

“Ah, it is, isn’t it?” He laughed silly himself.

“Let’s say I go along and we treat it as a dream which happened in our own Dream World, how would you call me in that Dream World?” Belinda was probably just playing along, more so to amuse herself. She wanted to see how far Narias’s silly idea could take him.

“Oh, if we treat it as our Dream World, and if we want to avoid using names then… I suppose I would call you my dream woman. Well, I meant I…” calling Belinda his ‘dream woman’ probably wasn’t on his agenda, but now that he said it, he couldn’t back down.

“Your… ‘dream woman’?” Belinda’s heart sank if not to her knees, then to her thighs, because she was still sitting on the couch with her legs bent under her.

My dream woman? Hmph… I suppose she is. I mean, me hugging her like that feels like a dream even now. In all fairness, maybe I’m actually dreaming right now for real? But even if I am, I’d rather hold on to her and go forward than regret about it later. The worst thing that might happen is… me waking up. And if it turns out it is not a dream after all… then it’s even better. Narias grinned inside with his last thought.

“Yes,” he stated confidently.

“Ah? You… you really know your way with words, don’t you?” Belinda was honestly faking being her usual self. In reality, her heart was pounding so fast, she thought it’ll jump out of her chest. She leaned forward and hugged him tight herself, placing her head on his shoulder, so he wouldn’t see how flustered she was.

“Aah, sorry, Miss Salroze. That was…” Narias realized he might’ve gone over the top this time after all.

“Belinda…” she spoke her name into his ear.

“Huh?” he was a little confused about it.

“Call me… Belinda. In our dreams… we can be and do whatever we want, right? So, when we’re in our Dream World, call me… Belinda…” the way she said that made Narias’s skin tingle, and she felt it.

“Ok… Belinda,” as soon as he said her name, Narias felt Belinda pressing herself closer to him. They stayed like that for a few moments, relaxed and happy, not wanting to let go of one another.

“Now… since we’re still in our Dream World…” Belinda finally pulled away and looked at Narias with the most seductive smile ever.

“Aah, but… I’m not really sure if I…” Narias instantly knew what her smiled implied, but he became slightly worried about his physical capabilities all of a sudden. He knew what that look in her sparkling eyes meant. Last night, Belinda had proven herself to be the top cowgirl that he knew. Not that Narias had ever met one in his current, or previous, life. But that also didn’t change the fact that he was yet to recover after his last ride.

“Humph…” she licked her lips with a giggle. “That just means you need more training. Should I set up a new one-on-one training schedule for you?”

“That would be…” Narias knew he was the one who put himself in his current situation.

“Aren’t you charming?” Belinda wrapped her arms around his neck, putting a mischievous smile on her face. “But I guess you’re right. After all, I wouldn’t want our dream to turn into a nightmare. Resting is part of the training as well, isn’t it?”

“Ah… yeah…” he smiled awkwardly.

“How about this then? Why don’t you go take a bath to wash my sweat off of your stunning body? I’ll go prepare us some breakfast in the meantime. But first…” she wanted to say something else, but made a pause.

“But first?” Narias was wondering what else she wanted to say.

“Thank you,” Belinda gave him a prolonged kiss with a tease at the end. “And good morning… Narias.”

“Good morning… Belinda,” it was a dream morning for Narias indeed. Calling Miss Salroze by her first name seemed unusual, but seeing how her face brightening up when he did that, Narias was happy to keep it up. They were in their Dream World right now after all.

{some time later}

“Here we are,” Belinda walked him to where the transport stop was. It was still early morning and there was no one around, except for the carriage and a half-asleep driver sitting at the front. “Good morning, Sagan.”

“Oh, aaah… sorry. I must’ve… dozed off. I’ll just have to… Right, good morning, Miss Salroze. If you excuse me for a moment,” the man greeted her back, then stepped down and walked behind the carriage to do whatever he intended to do.

Tch… So, he was out drinking last night after all. Hmph… That… turned out for the better in the end. I guess I owe him a bottle of his favorite drink. I’ll have to buy one next time I go to El’Roonst. Belinda had a satisfied smile on her face.

“I guess… it’s goodbye,” said Narias, standing next to a carriage.

“I guess it is,” Belinda agreed with him, exhaling deeply.

“Oh, I totally forgot, your assistant told me you’ll be going to the Magic Dungeon next week again?” He remembered she will be going to the dungeon again.

“Ah, yes. I’ll be taking one more group with me on Monday. I doubt they’ll be able to get as far as your group did, though. But I’ll make sure to bring some extra food with me this time,” Belinda told him with a half chuckle.

“Be careful, ok?” Narias said in a serious voice.

“Huh? Are you… actually worried about me?” She almost found his comment amusing.

“Of course. I’d be worried to no end if something were to happen to you, Belinda,” again, Narias was sincere with his words.

“Oh? Well… when you say it like that…” Belinda averted her gaze away. “I… promise that I will.”

“Great. Now then…” Narias was ready to climb into the carriage.

Aargh… Dang it, keep it together, will you? It’s just a ‘goodbye’. Belinda felt weak in her knees all of a sudden. Ah, shit… I should’ve kissed him before we left the house. Now I’ll have to wait for…

Her train of regretful thoughts were interrupting by Narias wrapping her arms around her waist. She didn’t even notice when he got close to do so. Before she could react or say anything, Narias kissed her on the lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck in an instant, letting herself soak in all the kisses that she could get in the short amount of time that they had.

“See you later, Belinda,” said Narias, after Belinda had finally let go of him.

“You… better…” she brushed her short, silky hair away, averting her gaze too.

The carriage driver was back on his seat and Narias had to climb inside, because they were about to leave.

“Ok, here we go,” Sagan ushered the horses to run and the carriage moved.

“I’ll be damned. I feel like a teenage girl again. If he hadn’t hugged me, my knees would’ve given out and I probably would’ve ended on my ass in the dirt.” Belinda let out a deep sigh, still standing there after the carriage had left. “I definitely gone crazy. Huh? Crazy? About him? Have I, really? They say Love and Hate are two sides of the same coin, but… I don’t think I have ever hated him. Now that I think about it, what was it that I felt towards him all this time? I know I was angry with him for that slimy trick he pulled on me during the entry exam… which he didn’t need to take. Humph… Speaking of which, I suppose I got back at him for that one… with the added bonus on top, hmm… Sorry Milenna, I beat you to it. Still, his ’dream woman’? He actually meant it… I suppose… I have something to look forward to.”
