With our brilliant strategy meeting coming to an end, we have outlined our future plans.

Firstly, there are two main things we want to achieve. The first is to destabilize the relationship of the former king, who is trying to reclaim the country, and stabilize the nation. The second is to recover the otherworlders, people like us.

To do this, we’ll pretend to be unaware and allow the former king’s side to progress with their plans. Ultimately, this should lead to a confrontation where he’ll defeat Queen Itoigawa, the ruler of this country.

At that moment, we anticipate that the otherworlders, including us, might become a target of the enemy’s forces. So, we need to prepare for that and have a strategy in place, which involves utilizing “the cause,” the trump card that we have.

Thus, we’re all currently in a room with two “causes” to get accustomed to using them effectively. The space is cramped, but it’s necessary to maximize the physical training’s efficiency.

…It’s getting a bit intense and sweaty in here, but it can’t be helped.

Occasionally, we ventilate the room and do some “cleaning,” but it’s still quite… well, there’s nothing more to say about it. I won’t complain.

During this time, I’ve been diligently knitting.

You see, following the “cause” that we’ve been familiarizing ourselves with, the second key to our plan is the threads of Glida.

Remember when we fought Glida, and it tangled me up with its threads? At that moment, my “transfer” ability didn’t activate. And it’s not like Fukuyama-kun uses “Transfer” or anything similar.

So, if we get the Glida to produce threads that seal “Transfer” and use them to weave a net or something, we can capture it without letting it escape.

Although we need to conduct performance tests to see how effective it is, we could even set up a network of threads all over the room and say, “Didn’t you know? You can’t escape from Queen-sama.”

…I really wanted to do it while in my Demon Lord, no, Great Demon Lord mode… I mean, we went through the trouble, right?

And currently, the main issue is neutralizing the local residents’ soldiers in this world.

…I think using the “cause” can neutralize the otherworlders.

But can it go as far as neutralizing the local residents?

…The answer is, I don’t know.

It seems some of them experimented with it.

They left the “cause” floating in this corridor of the royal castle, but no one showed any signs of change as they passed by as if nothing had happened. Neither the maids nor the soldiers seemed affected.

…In that case, it would be more reasonable to assume that it only works on otherworlders.

And if that’s the case, it would be dangerous if we neutralize the otherworlders, but the enemy’s local residents remain unaffected and fully operational.

At the moment, the methods we have for neutralization are the tear gas-like substances from President and my “Lullaby” ability.

President’s method is versatile, but mine requires me to activate it, so it’s not very convenient to use.

However, once someone falls asleep, they become completely powerless, so we’ll have to use it strategically.

Next, let’s talk about traps.

Since the battlefield will be in this castle, it becomes our main base, and we have to make the most of it.

Most of the planning is done by President and Katori, but it’s mainly entrusted to Itoigawa-senpai to create them.

You see, Senpai has a skill that allows her to modify her own castle as much as she wants…

She’ll need to handle the negotiations with the nobles and other matters related to them, so she’s busy on that front, but it seems she’s fired up for this operation, so we’ve entrusted it to her. It’s also efficient that way.

So, while observing everyone diligently doing their somewhat exhausting but reasonably proper muscle training, I continue knitting with the thread I received from Glida.

This thread is different from the one used to make clothes. The one for clothes has a texture like silk and is as thin as silk threads, with dozens of them coming out together.

However, this thread for “Teleportation” sealing is… about as thick as knitting yarn, and it has a more moist texture, in a way. It’s not sticky, but it’s somewhat similar to those gel sheets used for earthquake protection that are placed under household appliances.

Well, thanks to this texture, it’s quite challenging to knit with! It’s frustrating!

After struggling with this confusing thread, I managed to create a significant amount of netting.

I started with a crochet hook, but halfway through, I gave up and started knitting with my fingers. As long as it makes it difficult for people to move once they get caught, it should be fine.

If possible, I thought about making some mats for the battlefield with this thread, but I don’t feel like I can weave with it, so I’ll put that on hold…

After continuously knitting, it’s time to prepare dinner.

Senpai’s skill is truly remarkable, as she managed to replicate a modern kitchen perfectly. Thanks to that, everything is very convenient. This is amazing!

Before borrowing the kitchen or heading to the market in this country to buy ingredients, I decided to transform into Rosemary and go shopping at the market to prepare dinner.

First, I make a pudding. It seems like Senpai wants to eat it, and I do too, so it’s a must-make item. Besides, I found a sauce-like condiment at the market that’s a specialty of this country while buying eggs and milk. So, I decided to use it for the fried food, making chicken cutlets. No regrets there.

Next, a vegetable-rich minestrone. Minestrone with small diced bacon adds a fantastic aroma and taste. It’s really delicious, no doubt.

Then, I made some liver paste for myself, loaded with aromatic vegetables. You see, I need to replenish my iron intake…

While the maid dolls with “Petit Aqua” and “Petit Ice” skills helped cool down the steamed pudding, Senpai returned. Her official duties for the day seemed to be over.

“Maito!”

And as soon as she spotted me, Senpai rushed over to give me a hug… but then she stopped herself. Well, that’s considerate of her. Thank you.

“Maito, are you alright?”

“I’ve lost count of how many times you’ve asked me that, Senpai, but I’m fine. Just a little anemic, that’s all.”

I said, and Senpai seemed to let out a sigh of relief, but then her eyes welled up with tears, and she started to sob.

…There’s no helping it. I patted her back while waiting for her to calm down. This apron seems destined to get soaked.

“Hey, Maito.”

After a while, when she seemed to have composed herself somewhat, Senpai looked at me with still teary eyes and spoke firmly.

“I’ll do it. I mean it, I’ll get back at the person who did this to you. And I’ll gather all those trying to take over this country and show them a bloodless defense, not surrender. I’m the Queen, after all. So, Maito, I need your cooperation. Oh, don’t bother answering. I know you will. I just hadn’t told you yet, and I wanted to say it.”

Yes, Senpai is back in full swing. It’s reassuring to see the Itoigawa Rhythm in action. Yes.

“Now that it’s settled, I’ll go right away.”

“Go where?”

“To the nobles. I’ll do some thorough networking!”

Uh-oh. Wasn’t that part of official duties? You’ve got your hands full, Your Majesty!

“So, Maito!”

And so, with a determined expression, Senpai pointed her finger at me and declared with shining eyes:

“Make sure you chill the pudding over there and wait for me! I’m going now! I won’t forgive Fukuyama!”

…And just like that, Senpai stormed off, as if she were a typhoon.

Well, I guess it’s alright since she’s back to her energetic self, but… what was that last part all about?

After that, I cleaned up the apron and the exhausted group, and then it was time for dinner.

…Based on the condition of the room where the exhausted group, or rather, everyone had been cooped up for a while, I don’t think the myth about boys’ schools being smelly is just a myth. Yep, it needed some “cleaning” too.

Now, on the dining table, there are two floating “causes,” and it seems like the exhausted group is getting used to them, as they can move normally now.

They eat their meals at an incredible speed, so it’s really rewarding to cook for them. The fried chicken disappeared from the plate in no time.

“By the way, did any of you say something to Senpai?”

I suddenly remembered that Senpai said something earlier, so while frying the chicken cutlets, I asked the group.

“Something? Like what? We reported about the strategy and the arrangements with the nobles, and also about the cause of your injury, didn’t we?”

“…’I won’t forgive Fukuyama,’ she said.”

“Yeah, we told her everything, starting from Ketorami, and then she went all like that, hahaha.”

…Isn’t that mostly irrelevant to Senpai?

“People tend to work harder when they have clear goals. That’s it.”

…Well, never mind.

“Maito, you should consider Ketorami and everything that happened as a plus or minus.”

“Aaaaaah! Katori! That’s mine!”

Hariu’s desperate cry drowned out whatever Hagasaki-kun was about to say.

“Uh, sorry.”

Even while apologizing, Katori didn’t stop eating.

“I know you’re thinking about it, and you probably consider this incident as your responsibility too.”

“Anyway, you’ve been eating too much since earlier! How many have you had?”

“Um, around 9, I guess.”

“We don’t really think… Seriously, you’ve been so noisy! Stop it!”

“I’ve only had 3 so far! What a heartless person! A stomach black hole!”

“Well, I’ve had only 2…”

“I had 5.”

“I’ll be the sixth.”

“I told you to shut up! Both of you, be quiet! And Katori, stop eating!”

…I prepared 50 pieces of chicken breast today. I was expecting each person to eat around 4 pieces. I was planning to save the leftovers for bento or make katsu don with egg.

…But at this rate, there won’t be any leftovers.

“Sorry, Hagasaki-kun, what did you say?”

He turned away with a displeased expression, so I asked again.

“We all dislike Fukuyama.”

It feels like it was simplified quite a bit.

“I dislike him more than you do. That’s all. Now, fry the next batch.”

He pushed a plate toward me, so I replied by putting one freshly fried and drained piece on his plate.
