Chapter 203: The Second Game

"If you had so much strength then why didn't you win relying on your strength alone since I can see that you have now become wonder woman," Jackson said coldly. He has always kept quiet whenever she spews her nonsense but he just could no longer tolerate her direct attack towards those who did not offend her.
"Jane, if you don't have anything meaningful to say then just keep quiet and stop getting on people's nerves," Jackson warned fiercely. The fuming lady kept quiet after Jackson had spoken.
"It's better Jack is the one who shut her up this time around. I am sure she wouldn't dare to speak nonsense again after Jack has spoken to her," Evelyn said in low tones smiling satisfactorily.
After resting for twenty minutes, Jasmine called everyone to stand up for the next game.
"Hello guys, the next game is a couple of games. It requires two partners. We have so many couples here which is why I am lost at how to come up with the teams. I don't want the situation where Evelyn will be teamed up with either Jeff or Kai. Steve and Cat might kill me if this happens that is why I need your suggestions," Jasmine said opening up the floor for suggestions.
"Jasmine the suggestion you have just mentioned is perfect. I am sure if couples play with each other it won't be as fun as the suggestion you came up with so let's do blind picking as we did for the rope game," Evelyn said beaming to the surprise of other people who didn't seem to find this idea cool at all. With Jackson staring at them with a threat in his eyes Jeff and Steve could not voice out their displeasure. Even Jane whose expression said she had a lot to say dare not utter a word after the last warning Jackson gave to her.
"Since nobody object to my suggestion then that means we are gonna go ahead with the random picking. The only couple who are exempted from this random selection is my Big Sis and her darling husband," Jasmine replied before she moved some distance away. With her notepad in her hands, she began scribbling down something.
After she was done writing she began tearing the paper into tiny pieces. She folded the piece of paper. After she had finished she brought the bowl containing the folded paper close to them.
"So that someone won't say I cheated, I will be the last person to pick the piece of paper. The name of the guy you picked will be your partner for this game," Jasmine said as she placed the bowl in the middle and signal the ladies to start picking. The ladies started picking the folded paper. Jane who was the last person to pick silently prayed that she picked Jackson's name. She had already strategized what to do to make Jasmine jealous if her partner is Jackson.
Jasmine bent and pick the last piece of paper. While the ladies were silently praying to pick their partners, the guys were also nervous. Instead of making a wish for themselves both Jeff and Steve wished that Jasmine will be Jackson partner. They sacrificed their wish for his happiness.
"Ok, let's see who we the ladies were unlucky enough to pick as our partner," Jasmine said as she began unfolding her paper.
"Wow!" was the exclamation that left her lips when she saw who her partner was. Curious to see why Jasmine made such a remark, Evelyn standing behind her quickly peeped at her card. She smiled when she saw the name on the card.
"How about you ladies reveal your papers now. I am afraid I might suffer from a heart attack if this goes on," Jeff said sounding as nervous as his words.
"Ok, beautiful ladies let's give the guys the shock of their lives," Jasmine said as she signals them to turn their papers around.
"Damn!" Steve cursed loudly when he saw that it was Jane who picked his name. Jeff limped up in excitement when he saw that his beloved Catherine was still his partner even in this game.
Jackson's heart lit up in happiness when he saw that his wish had come true for the first time. No words could describe his happiness when Jasmine winked naughtily at him.
Kai unlike Jackson wasn't happy that Evelyn was his partner but he did not let it show.
"I know some of us might not be so happy with our partners but this cannot be helped since we all agreed with this idea of choosing our partner. The game must go on despite our displeasure," Jasmine said when she saw the unhappy look on both Jane and Steve's faces.
"For our second game, we are not gonna do it here but over there," Jasmine said as she pointed her index finger towards the upper side of the beach where some of the hotel workers were busy setting up tables and chairs.
Seeing the table and the chairs everyone was curious to know what crazy game Jasmine had come up with.
"Jasmine, what game exactly are we playing?" Elizabeth who has been quiet all this while asked curiously.
"Relax Lizzy, it's nothing serious and why are you so scared of what I will ask you to do. Even though it was something naughty you will be doing it with your husband so why are you nervous when someone like Steve and Kai should be the ones nervous here?" Jasmine joked before she began walking towards where their game was going to take place. Everyone followed her immediately.
When they reached the place everything was set. Seeing the canned soft drinks on the table, they all exchanged puzzled glances.
