Chapter 353: I Won't Marry You

"You are the one who is lying to yourself mum. You can't force me to do what you want especially when it comes to my marriage. And since you like her so much why not marry her so she could come live with you?" Jackson said without giving a damn about how Jane must be feeling.
"Jack!" Mrs Smith yelled as she raised her hand and slap Jackson hard on the face.
"You can take it out on me however you want but mum believe me I won't be very polite if you hurt the woman I love be it in private or public," Jackson said furiously before he turned and stroll away.
"Mum, can you hear what Jack said about me? He insulted me all because of that lady," Jane said as she cried while hugging Mrs Smith hand.
"It's ok. Everything will work out so stop crying," Mrs Smith patted Jane's hair. They stayed there for a few minutes. The two of them entered the car after they were done consoling each other.
Meanwhile, when Jackson reached their car, he thanked both Evelyn and Steve for their help.
He entered the car and sat beside his woman afterwards. The driver drove away. In the car, Jasmine avoided staring at him. She refused to talk to him until they reached her home.
Since she could not walk, he had to carry her to their room and as usual, he relieved the maids of their work.
When Jackson tried to help her shower, Jasmine rejected his help. She hopped into the bathroom without sparing him a second glance.
"For her to refuse to talk to me, I guessed I messed up big time. I wonder why I got so angry and jealous when I saw him massaging her legs," Jackson thought aloud as he stare at the bathroom door.
Knowing too well that she would immediately want to sleep after showering he decided to use the second bathroom so that he would finish at the same time as her.
When Jackson came back from the bathroom he met her sitting in front of the dressing mirror drying her hair. He quickly went to help her so he could use that opportunity to initiate a conversation with her.
"I don't need your help," Jasmine said as she collected the hairdryer he snatched from her hands. She dropped the hair dryer and tried to stand up but Jackson quickly turned the chair around before she could stand up.
So that she won't have to strain her neck while staring at him, he knelt on one foot. He carried her hands and place them in his despite her reluctance.
"Miss Naughty, I am sorry for making you angry. My mum shouldn't have treated you the way she did earlier so I apologise on her behalf...," Jackson trailed as he stroked her hand affectionately.
"I am sorry that I got upset with you and I apologise for misunderstanding the incident I met earlier on the rooftop. Actually, I was just jealous that you let another man touch you so intimately," Jackson said with pouted lips as he stare into her eyes.
"My woman is very beautiful. Men flock around her by merely setting eyes on her. You can't blame me for reacting the way I did...,"
"I bet you are merely using jealousy to brush off the fact that you don't trust me," Jasmine scoffed as she remove her hands from his grip.
"You know that is not true. I love and trust you. Like I said, I was only jealous, believe me," Jackson held her hands once again.
