Jasmine thought smiling as she carried the red sleeveless dress from where it hung. She slides it onto her body.

"What do you think about the undies and the outfit?" Jackson asked when he saw her admiring herself in the mirror.
"Not bad," Jasmine said still examining herself in the mirror.

He turned her around when he was done with what he wanted to do.
"Something was missing from your outfit and I happened to have that missing thing," Jackson said when he saw her caress the glittering necklace around her neck.
Jasmine examines the necklace around her neck. She could not stop smiling.
"This is your birthday gift for me right? I wonder why the necklace was customised in form of a globe, can you tell me?" Jasmine asked as she turned to stare at him.
"I racked my brain trying to find the perfect birthday gift for you but I couldn't think of anything you need that you don't have. It then occurred to me that the best gift I can ever give you is one that depicts my feelings for you...," Jackson trailed while staring into her sapphire eyes which his face was the centre of attention.
"And I had the best jewel maker customised the necklace in form of a globe because you are my entire world. The world is meaningless without you in my life that is why the globe depicts my feelings best. I hope you like it?" Jackson asked as he eagerly waited for her reply.
People who see the necklace might think it was cheap of him to give her a necklace as a birthday gift but she knows without being told that the necklace is more expensive than a house, the latest sports car and so many other things people accord much importance to.
More than the price of the gifts she appreciates the intention of the giver.
"I love it. I would have loved to give you something that speaks of my feelings too on your birthday but unfortunately, your birthday had passed long before we became a couple," Jasmine said sounding regretful.
"It's ok, you can give it to me next year. It's just three months before this year passes so I can wait for the next five months until it's my birthday again," Jackson said as he cupped her face. He kissed her passionately only to pull away a few minutes later.
"Wear your shoes so we can leave for home," Jackson said.
Jackson and Jasmine left the office after they had dressed up. At the parking lounge, they were two busy talking to each other to see the familiar car still parked at the parking space.
A few minutes later, Jackson's car was seen driving out of the company's premises. After they left the screen of the white car was wound down to reveal the grim face of a lady.
"How shameless of her to do such deeds in the sacred place such as his office. She should have slept there so everyone will resume work tomorrow and see what kind of a shameless lady she is," Jane muttered as her grip around the steering tightened.
"Now is her time to smile but I will make sure her time doesn't last long. I will be the one who smiled last and when that happens her corpse will either be in the morgue or buried under the ground. I, Jane will make sure of this," Jane said coldly before she ignited the car and drive off.
Thirty minutes later Jasmine and Jackson arrived at his home. Walking hand in hand, the couple approached the entrance.
On entering the sitting room, Jasmine was greeted by another surprise.
"Happy Birthday!!!" These two words filled the room followed by cheering from the occupants of the room.
"You didn't tell me we had guests," Jasmine muttered not taking her gaze off the smiling figures.
"Because it was a surprise. I would have ruined the surprise if I had informed you that our naughty friends wanted to come over to celebrate your birthday," Jackson said as he led her by the hand into the room.
The first person to leave her seat to hug Jasmine was Elizabeth.
"Happy Birthday baby sis. I can't believe you are now 25 years old. It feels like yesterday you were always hovering around me begging for me to play with you....,"
"And I recall you always prefer your studies over me. I was always unhappy when you reject to play with me," Jasmine said playfully.
"You are right about that but despite everything you grew up very well and I am happy about this," Elizabeth said as she pulled out of her embrace.
Catherine was the next person to embrace Jasmine.
"Happy Birthday my naughty girl. We are back to being age mates. I think you should start calling me Big Sis now since I am a few months older than...,"
"Cut it out girl because I won't do that. Treating you as an older sister when we are the same age is boring so I will stick to how we were for the past years," Jasmine said as she pats Catherine's back.
Evelyn rushed forward before Jeff could go next.
"Happy Birthday day, sweet girl. You are the youngest among us and yet your naughtiness surpasses us. Should we applaud ourselves for being such good teachers...,"
"What are you talking about Lyn? You, Cat and I are all the same age no need to act like you are older than me with so many years. I am must commend you for saying I am the naughtiest among all of us since that is the truth," Jasmine joked with smiles on her face.
