Kei was not much-surprised hearing such a thing about Yuna since he was not unfamiliar with the girl. Or more like, Yuna is the only person with whom Kei has been in touch for the longest time in the Royal family.
Due to various reasons, Kei was drawn to the girl and had to come and meet her on circumstantial occasions.
Not everything she did in the past seemed logical to him but Kei had a great understanding with Yuna. She was just like a little sister to him whom Kei always found the need to guide.
Anastasia sensed the elevated mood of Kei as it seemed he was thinking of her daughter. The Empress knew Kei wasn't interested in Yuna in the way the latter one was, but either way, it was fine.
The older woman had confidence in her daughter and to support her decision, Anastasia can provide them with some time at least.
"You will find her inside."
Anastasia halted her feet in front of the only room which was built on the highest peak of the castle.
The two guards didn't stop Kei before the latter knocked on the door slightly hesitant.

Kei knocked and chose to wait since he knew the person inside was no longer a child but a grown-up woman who undoubtedly requires privacy.
Anastasia was still there smiling at Kei's gentlemanly behavior which made him slightly awkward. Fortunately, the reply came soon from the inside.

Kei nodded toward the Empress before he pushed the door and went inside.
Left alone, Anastasia turned toward the guards and spoke in her usual tone.
"Don't let anyone disturb them."
"It's as you command, Your highness."

The room Kei was greeted with, seemed rather simple yet elegant. Much to Kei's liking.
White curtains, fluorescent designs on walls, very less furniture despite the massive room size, and a very calming flowery scent evenly spread around the room.
It was the first time Kei visited Yuna's room but he wasn't much nervous about this situation.
Darting his eyes, he tried to find Yuna, but she was nowhere to be found. Before he could have tried to sense her presence, Yuna's voice reached up to him.
"Please take a seat. I am currently changing my clothes."
Kei was startled and thanked Yuna inwardly to warn him before he would have seemed something unforgiving.
Since there didn't seem anything to sit on, Kei took the liberty to utilize the extra comfortable bed as he planted his butt on the edge of the comforter.

The softness of the mattress was heavenly, to say the least. Kei felt tempted to dove into the bed and sleep to his heart's desire but he held back.
