It took a lot from Mika to not faint with such a terrifying experience upon facing death from that close.
Kei pulled her out of the balcony and before she could even register what was happening around her, he jumped off the railing while still holding her hand. She sure knew that the protective railing was half a foot shorter than her, so how they climbed on and jumped over it was still a mystery.
But Mika couldn’t think about such a thing as she panted like she was regaining her lost vitality. She was currently plopped on the floor while trying to remind herself that she never hit the ground.
“Well, at least you did not puke. I am impressed”
Kei answered nonchalantly since this was the best method to take someone through cross-dimensional portals for the first time, especially when they have their mana sealed.
Creating a sense of crisis, enraging the heartbeat to distract her mind from the numbing sensation of the portal was the best way Kei could think to take the girl here.
And yet she was whining…
“By the way, is it okay to give your mother such a first impression?”
With a teasing smirk, Kei whispered as he saw Mika flinching before she roamed her eyes around the room and for the first time discovered that she was resting in a strange place.
The floor and the walls were everything made of wood and gave the feeling of this being a treehouse. But that was not something that stayed on Mika’s mind for long as her eyes caught the woman standing near the bed.
Her eyes were stretched wide like she had seen some kind of unnatural presence with her mouth agape slightly. Mika felt a strange sensation running through each fiber of her being upon witnessing the lady.
It was strange like there was something attracting Mika to the woman and did not let her look away from her. Something warm and unique that Mika never felt before. Her heart was practically leaping right now as she tried to keep her composure yet failed miserably.
Yulino had her undivided attention drawn to the girl who appeared out of nowhere just after some hours when the fake doctor Kaizer promised to bring her daughter from the human realm.
Now there was a boy standing near the door but he was a lot younger than the doctor. Maybe his true self but that doesn’t matter.
Yulino walked forward rather cautiously to not scare away the poor little thing. She was able to detect the faint mana signature radiating from the girl which reminded Yulino of her husband, further making her eyes watery as she steadily knelt beside the girl.
For some reason, Mika also had tears clouding her eyes as she saw the beautiful woman crying so weakly.
With her words choked in her throat, Yulino raised her hand without breaking her eye contact. Mika was hesitant as she glanced at Kei for once.
Kei shrugged and nodded for Mika to respond.
Mika slowly raised her hands and brought them above the woman’s warm and delicate skin.
*Tiiin*
A wave of mana shone brightly as the seal which had been put on Mika ever since suddenly started cracking down, changing her insides and outsides at the same time.
Kei felt slightly embarrassed to stand around since Mika’s clothes were getting torn with that ritual.
He took a peek at her supple bare mounds tho…
Deciding that the duo would probably require some time, Kei walked to the window and took out his phone from his spatial storage.
Realizing that obviously there would be no network since Kei was a little too far from the coverage area, he decided the other way to communicate with his ladies.

Karen was currently in her room after a hectic round of battle against the head maid of the mansion.
She has been getting taught complex subjects since she was the only heir of the Clan Amber and had to take the throne in a century or two.
It was not like Karen was slacking but since it was too much to handle all this aristocracy and combat, she also felt worked up sometimes.
Not to mention she could not meet Kei as well in the meantime because of her restriction to leave the realm until she doesn’t get some decent results.
‘...not like he would be coming here to me as well…’
Karen grumbled while clutching her pillow. She couldn’t help but feel sad since despite being in a relationship with Kei it feels nothing like they were dating at all. She knew it was bad to be so whiny when Kei was no normal being to pay her attention all the time. But still…
[I am sorry for not realizing it earlier, Karen…]
Karen’s pupils shrank as she heard Kei’s voice in her head like he was whispering just beside her ear. She instinctively turned her head but found there was no one other than her.
“Is it telepathy?”
Karen was a little bit sad since she thought Kei was here but realizing that she was able to talk to him through their bond made her mood lighter.
Once again she was reminded that she was one of Kei’s bonds despite their unequal standings. Despite him being such an entity he chose her as his lover.
For others, it might be a silly way of keeping thinking the same thing but for Karen, it always made her elated.
[I was thinking of talking to you for now but for some reason…I am having a dangerous urge to see you….]
It took Karen some time to comprehend what he just said but before she could even have uttered “Eh?” in perplexion, a black whirlpool emerged beside the bed before Karen was greeted with a face she was missing so dearly.
“Hey. Long time no see.”
Karen blinked, and blinked….and blinked before she was no longer able to deny that he was actually here!
