"Are you feeling any better?" Felix asked, "Are you feeling warm?"

Janette raised her head and nodded.

"Good, and how about you?" He turned to ask Reta. "Feeling safe from the moon light? Feeling comfortable about not transforming?"

Reta grunted back, keeping her arms wrapped around her prey.

Felix nodded and turned his head back to acknowledge the cat girl hugging him from behind. "And what's your reason?"

KuliKuli giggled and flashed a wide grin. "I didn't want to be the only one not hugging Master!"

"Of course." He muttered under his breath, annoyed as he found himself with no room for movement. All three girls had their arms around him from the back and sides, and each of them hugging him for different reasons. Due to her werewolf curse, Norowa Reta panicked when they saw an artificial light at the winter biome that looked like the full moon, and she has kept hidden under his cloak for 'protection' for the past seven minutes. Janette had been a shivering and rattling mess for some time after their exit, and soon she was fighting Reta to borrow some much needed warmth through his body heat while keeping herself wrapped under his cloak. The result left one man overwhelmed with the affection of three woman, heavily restricted in his movement to a degree where he stood still in the middle of the pathway while people passed by their left and right.

A few men turned around and spotted the situation, flashing a smile and complimenting him for being lucky. Felix nervously smiled back, but that faded as soon as they turned away. It felt nice being hugged this much. He recalled that it took a few days, over a week perhaps, before he had grown accustomed to that kind of physical embrace. Being touched by someone else usually meant he was being pulled, shoved, or punished. That was a long time ago now, but wounds have a tendency to leave scars behind in his life. It was not that he found their embrace to be an issue, except that he couldn't move and wanted to visit the other biomes in a hurry before leaving. Rather, it was also that the number of visitors experiencing the circus around them was setting off a nervous aura for him. Social groups just didn't agree with him, he preferred seeking his peace through solitude, and the safety of being alone up in the mountains on his little cabin where the only people he would interact with were animals and the occasional merchants back at Farmer's Den.

"Girls, if you hold me any tighter, I am going to burst." He spoke out, glancing from one face to the other. "And need I remind you that we have under an hour left to visit the other biomes."

"Ah, quite right you are." Janette agreed, gently parting away from him and patting down her chest and waist. "Phew, sorry. I needed that. Aahhh, I'm feeling much better now. Can't risk getting a cold, it would get in the way of work."

Reta released him shortly after, fixing her sky blue hair and averting her eyes from him. "Well, I may have overreacted a bit. You did well in protecting me under the given measures."

'I wouldn't call it protection,' Felix thought to himself, believing it would be wiser not to challenge her before turning back as one woman kept her grasp around his waist. "Kuli."

"Mew!" She batted her eyes and responded with large pleading eyes pair with a tiny smile. Felix snickered and turned away, struggling not to laugh.

"Hey, that's not funny!" KuliKuli shouted in a huff, pulling away and placing her paws on her hips.

Felix shook his head and covered his mouth, laughing quietly away from her sight. KuliKuli wasn't pleased, shoving his arm and marching in front of him. He looked up as she stuck her tongue at home and kept moving ahead, followed by the rest of the girls. Composing himself, he cleared his throat and hurried over to catch up.

"Well," He wiped his nose and adjusted his collar. "Where to now? I believe we may have enough time to peek at three more biomes."

"Or we can stick around and take our time with this as our final biome." Janette added.

Reta shrugged. "We may as well leave after this second biome. I have had my fill of 'fun' for tonight, perhaps enough to last for the entire month."

"Ooooo, so you found tonight to be entertaining?" Janette asked with a smug grin, leaning close to her side. "Does that mean you had fun?"

Reta scoffed and pushed her away. "If lounging about watching people dressed in funny costumes performing beginner Genki tricks is your idea of fun, then I can see why you have such a frail body with arms that sway by the breeze of the wind. Coming to visit us is perhaps the most exercise you've ever committed to."

Janette gasped and clutched her heart. "How rude! Well what does entertainment mean to you, then?"

"Mm," She paused in deep thought, "Something more strenuous that tests physical strength, skill, and agility, or perhaps a round of meditation to ease the mind."

"You? Meditating? I don't see that being likely." Janette exclaimed.

Reta scowled back. "Be that as it may, meditation requires balance between the mind and soul. It is a technique that my father practiced well, one that I have yet to adapt to its fullest extent. Physicality is more to my liking, nothing like the exertion of pain and stress released under each strike towards your target, or practicing the right techniques to disarm and render one immobile."

Janette silently retreated to the couple behind, walking next to KuliKuli.

Reta began to smile when something mischievous came to mind. "Then of course, there is the more passionate activities partaken in the bedroom. I have no complaint in that regard as of yet. That is another choice of action that I would consider as fun. Perhaps something to engage in once we return home as well."

Felix coughed and lowered his gaze in an attempt to hide his blush when he was stopped by KuliKuli. He had almost crashed into a behemoth of a man, someone who towered over him in size. His clothes were a bit revealing with a shoulder guard and leather armor around one arm, wearing what appeared to be a tasset belt draped over a pair of muscular legs. He paid no mind to them, scratching his back before leaving the entrance followed by a shorter pudgy man wearing a bloated tunic and loose breeches.

"That one didn't seem all dat much!" Exclaimed the short man. "Maybe de o'der biome got more t'see."

The taller brute huffed and scratched his furry beard, offering very little in his response aside. The pair walked away, closing the curtain entry behind them. Felix watched them leave before KuliKuli pulled him through the entrance, with Janette holding the curtains open for them before slipping in last.

"Hm, that's strange." Janette commented, patting her forehead and looking around.

Reta didn't seem impressed, glaring at the display in front. "What, that this one is just all trees and vines?"

"The music stopped." She mentioned, "And this is suppose to be a rainforest."

"It certainly looks like one." Felix remarked, leaning closer into the glass wall.

On the other side was a dense and crowded display of vegetation. The trees stood tall and mighty, looming over their heads high enough that there seemed to be no end in sight. In contrast to the snow biome, this one contained a similar source of light emitting a warm yellow glow, keeping the biome in a state of humidity. . A nearby water stream could be heard cascading from the far reach and pouring into a murky pool of brown water in the front. The bark of the trees were thick and their branches broad.

"Gosh, I liked the other one better." KuliKuli commented, fanning herself using the sleeves of her dress. She seemed to perk up when she spotted something at the bottom of the brown lake. Bending down, she squinted her eyes and shouted, "Look!"

Felix kneeled down while Janette stepped behind them for a closer glance, with Reta folding her arms and keeping away. "I wouldn't risk taking a peak at what you may find."

"Why?" KuliKuli turned to ask, facing back when a reptilian eye was looking back at her. "AAHH!"

She jumped and landed on all fours, hunching her back and shaking in fear. The eye looked around before disappearing out of sight, slipping deeper into the pool. Felix helped KuliKuli back on her feet while adjusting her dress to hide her tails and paws, with Janette keeping watch at the entrance just in case.

"Foolish kitten, do you not know the tales of the jungle? Be mindful not to look for trouble or it might find you." Reta warned her.

"Or perhapssss it isss trouble that lookssss for you inssstead?"

Reta stepped back as did the others, scanning around in search of where that voice came from. It was Felix who took notice of one of the vines wrapped around a large branch up above, eyeing it suspiciously when he gasped as the huge vine began to coil around on its own. He pointed upwards for his friends to follow on, each one freezing the moment the saw what he found. For this vine was much bigger in comparisons to the hundreds more hung around from bark and branch, and it slithered around to maintain its hold from where she sat, perched and hidden in plain sight up above. It was no vine as they could tell from the emerging brown stripes that flowed across the surface of its ridged scaly body, widening until it reached a slender hourglass frame of a feminine chest, with lean green arms and brown muddy hair clumping down her back. Her yellowish eyes with round, black pupils closed halfway as she wiggled and slid across the branch, adjusting her posture as she leaned down to rest her head into her folded arms. Her black lips curved into an amusing grin, with a paper thin split emerged from the corners of her lips and snaking back to her tiny ears holes.

"J-Janette, what is that?" Felix asked in a hushed voice.

Janette swallowed deeply. "That is an anaconda."

The snake girl raised her upper body, revealing her green breasts briefly before descending down from its branch, her hands reaching out to adjust her movement and slip through other vines with ease. She hovered around a lower trunk before swinging her torso upside down, wrapping her tail around its new spot while gazing at her new visitors with her muddy strands of rope-like hair dangling like dreads.

"Mmmm, I do ssso enjoy the sscent from you all." She flicked her forked tongue, closing her eyes and shivering at the senesation. "I can feel your heat from beyond the glassss, ohhh very tempting! But not today, maybe later."

She tilted her head around before twisting her body until she raised her torso upright, her yellow eyes fixated on KuliKuli. "You would be sssurprised how easy it isss to find trouble here, Nekomata."

She gasped and recoiled into Felix's arms, with him turning serious. "How did you know?"

"I've been around and heard among many thingsss, experienced many pleasuresss, and savored many mealsss." She swayed her head side to side, entranced with fond memories as she explained. "Mmmm and I am familiar with the heat and ssscent of a wild Nekomata. But to find one on the other ssside of the looking glass is mossst surprising indeed! Bessst be cautious of the ventures you take, to wander into a place like thiss is foolish in of itsss-self."

"What are you... talking about?" Felix reluctantly asked, looking back at the curtains before facing her.

"I do not much care about the viewing pleasures of mammals and bipedal creaturesss. Nothing much interestsss me, only the whimpers of a fresh meal dropped into my home can pull me out from my domain. Sssome animals mock me, othersss fear me, and one like yourssself look upon me with intrigue." She stated with her gaze set on Janette.

Janette felt her skin crawl, stepping behind Felix for comfort. "Sometimes I forget that not all Monster Girls are friendly."

"Not friendly, just not hungry." She corrected her with a knowing smile, her forked tongue slipping between her dark lips briefly. "You grow weary of visitors too should you find your life ssstuck in a cage as I do."

"You're dangerous." Felix stated when she turned her head toward him.

"Only to thossse who invade my homes uninvited. We do not feed on your kind because you take it upon yoursss-self to play hero. Kill a human who threatens you or your offspring, and the next day you may find yoursss-self driven from your home or be hunted by them. We know who you are, and we asssk only that you leave usss be. But then there are othersss who track usss for sport or for pleasure, but I do not blame them. For we ssseak the same pleasures too, in areas where we are protected by othersss. We have a better use for you rather than to feassst." She hissed with a wicked grin, rubbing her belly to make her clear.

This time, Reta stepped forward, matching her gaze without flinching or shaking in response. "What is it you are telling us?"

The snake wriggled its body, loosening its grip and slowly approaching them as she balanced her weight with the strength of her tail until she could reach the wall of glass. Pressing the palms of her hands on it for support, she flexed her jaws and parted her lips, dragging her forked tongue up and down across the glass. Reta stood awkwardly while Felix and KuliKuli looked at each other in confusion. The snake drew back her tail and stared at her with a satisfied look.

"I thought I recognized your ssscent, but you're not her."

"Nan-, what did you say?" She gave her a perplexed look, surprised by what she had to say.

The snake hissed back and turned her gaze from one blue-haired visitor to the cat girl, tilting her scaly head with a look of amusement.

"You really shouldn't be here." She warned them before giggling through a creepy hissing tone, "Hss, hss, hsss-hsss hss!"
