Although this premarital agreement made her feel speechless, Lin Xiaomi signed her name without hesitation.

“Give me your ID card.” Leng Yihuang looked at the signature on the agreement with satisfaction.

Lin Xiaomi took out her ID card and gave it to him.

Leng Yihuang pressed the button of the telephone on the table, “A’Xing, come here.”

Soon, with a knock on the door, a tall and strong man came in.

A’Xing bowed in the doorway and said seriously, “Young master.”

Leng Yihuang pushed the agreement with the ID card to the side of the table, “Take this. Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau for the marriage registration.”

“Yes, sir.” A’Xing respectfully answered, took the agreement and the ID card, then turned quietly and left.

Lin Xiaomi was stunned. For a while, she couldn’t help asking, “Don’t we have to go there in person?”

“No.” said Leng Yihuang briefly.

Lin Xiaomi still felt like she was in a dream.

It wasn’t until an hour later, when A’Xing brought back the two marriage licenses, that Lin Xiaomi believed it was true.

It was the first time for Lin Xiaomi to see the marriage license.

She unconsciously walked over and tried to see what he looked like.

She had never seen marriage certificates, but she knew there was a photo on them.

But before she reached to the marriage certificates, Leng Yihuang took them away from her, and asked her coldly, “What do you want to do?”

“I wanna have a look.”

Leng Yihuang said coldly, “There’s nothing special.” After finishing speaking, he opened one of them and looked at it.

He was wearing a mask, so Lin Xiaomi couldn’t see clearly the expression on his face.

He just thought this man was annoying!

“There should be a group photo on the marriage certificate, but we seem not to take a photo yet.”

“Just composite one.”

“...” Lin Xiaomi did not know what to say at all.

After that day, Lin Xin’er was haunted with fear every day at home. Not only her, but also the Lins were in fear.

They knew that during this period, Lin Xiaomi was trying to expose them about what happened that day, so they secretly stood in her way.

Although they were not afraid of Lin Xiaomi, they didn’t expect that Tang Fengmo sneakily helped her.

What’s more, it was Tang Fengmo who brought the police that day.

If Mrs. Li didn’t get things properly done, maybe they would be in prison now.

Lin Yaoguo was simply scared.

He scolded Jiang Hui, “You bitch, it’s all your fault. You have never done anything right!”

Jiang Hui did not know why the mistake was attributed to her, so she could not help but refute, “How did it relate to me?”

“Don’t you dare to ask me! If you did not offend Tang Fengmo, would he meddle in this kind of matter?”

Hearing what he said, Jiang Hui kept silent and didn’t say a word.

Originally, she had got half of the shares of the Lin family, but the heart was not successfully transplanted.

The Lin family directly didn’t admit it.

Due to it, Jiang Hui cried, being almost thrown out.

But she was powerless, so it was impossible to get justice for herself.

If she left the Lin family, she had nothing left, even lost what she had now.

She had to suffer indignities without a protest.

As for Lin Xin’er, she had never seen Xue Haolin after that day.

She felt uneasy all the time while hearing that Xue Haolin behaved abnormally that day.

But she thought Xue Haolin was just unhappy because of the death of Lin Xiaomi’s grandmother.

She had been waiting for Xue Haolin to see her actively. But he still didn’t come here after she anxiously waited for him so many days.

Finally she could not help but call Xue Haolin on the phone, then Xue Haolin promised to see her.

Once Xue Haolin came to the Lin family, Jiang Hui greeted him, “Haolin, there you are. Why didn’t you come to see Xin’er for so many days? She is in poor health and really miss you.”

Xue Haolin looked at the woman coldly. He thought he was a ruthless person, but compared with Jiang Hui, he was inferior.

He had no idea that there was such a woman in the world who would like to give her own daughter’s heart to her stepdaughter, and unexpectedly dolled herself up after her mother died less than a month.

She even often discredited Lin Xiaomi in front of him and even confused the right and wrong.

As a result, he believed Lin Xin’er but hurt Lin Xiaomi.

In the final analysis, in addition to his own ego, the reason why he trusted Lin Xin’er so much was that he didn’t expect there would be such a mother like Jiang Hui who did such things to her daughter.

He thought that it must be Lin Xiaomi’s fault that even Jiang Hui refused to speak for her.

Xue Haolin looked at Jiang Hui viciously, which made her took a step back with scare.

“Why do you think that of me? Am I wrong?”

"Even a vicious tiger will not eat its cubs. But you, Mrs. Lin, you are really worse than animals.” Xue Haolin said coolly, didn’t want to give her even one glance.

Then he went upstairs.

Jiang Hui stood there and was confused.

When she realized what happened, she got annoyed.

“How can you talk to me like that? At least I am your elder!” Her timid voice hardly reached to Xue Haolin upstairs.

At this time Xue Haolin had entered the Lin Xin’er room.

Lin Xin’er was lying on the bed with a pale face. While seeing Xue Haolin, she smiled weakly, “Hi.”

She looked at Xue Haolin’s haggard face and said, “You have lost so much weight. Have you been busy recently?”

Xue Haolin stood beside the bed, with his hands in his pockets, looking at the woman without expression.

That look made Lin Xin’er inexplicably panic. She could not help but raise her hand to touch her face, “Do I look awful? Stop looking at me.”

A slight smile suddenly appeared on Xue Haolin’s face.

He was laughing at himself.

Why did he believe firmly such a woman?

Thinking of every word she ever said and everything she ever did, Xue Haolin felt sick.

“Haolin, what’s wrong with you? I’m talking to you. What are you thinking about?”

His silence made Lin Xin’er depressed and flustered.

Xue Haolin slowly bent down, with arms at her sides. Finally, he said, “I remember that the doctor said you could only live for three days at most. I was just wondering why you’re still alive now.”

Lin Xin’er suddenly widened her eyes, because she couldn’t believe that he would say such words.

“Haolin, why do you talk like this? Aren’t you happy to know I am alive?”

Xue Haolin withdrew his arm and sat on the chair in front of the bed, said, “Maybe I should be happy.” These words were full of meanings.

What did he mean?

Lin Xin’er was so mad as to almost grab her hair and scream. What the hell did he mean?

In a flash, she thought Xue Haolin had known she was lying to him.

But she quickly dismissed her idea.

It was impossible!

There was nothing wrong with her. He wouldn’t have discovered.

Xue Haolin suddenly took out a red rope and handed it to her, “Weave another goldfish for me, please.”
