Their screams echoed throughout the night as many tried to escape the terrifying creatures who brutally tore apart their flesh and feasted on them.
As though the painful death wasn't enough torture for the gangsters, they suddenly noticed that their bodies were returning back to normal, only to be torn to shreds and feasted upon over and over again.
The sequence continued for what looked like an eternity.
At first, they all had the strength to scream out loud at the agony they were feeling. But now, every one of them just wanted the misery to stop, the pain of being torn to shreds was just too unbearable for them.
Tears rolled down from the eyes of many, others fell unconscious and couldn't react anymore, a few of them soiled themselves due to the overwhelming fear that consumed them while the remaining still had a little strength left to let out a feeble cry for help.
The gang members relived this occurrence over and over again for what looked like an eternity, but in actuality, it had only happened for about half an hour.
However while Kevin was using this skill, a trail of blood trailed down one of his nostrils and onto his lips, but he wiped it off.
However, a prompt appeared in front of him immediately after.
[Warning! You're running out of MP.]
[Warning!! You're running out of MP.]
This had been appearing for quite a while now, and Kevin had purchased three Mana Regeneration Potions already to help solve his Mana depletion.
The reason for the repeated prompt was because it was the first time he was using his Cubic Fabricated Reality skill over such a large number of people and it was really taking a toll on his body.
And as he continued to torture the men in front of him, Wolfgang and the four men who had killed their bosses a while ago watched as the men before them got brutally torn apart and brought back to life, only to be torn to shreds once again.
The scene was harrowing and nauseating, with two of the men throwing up at the sight.
Kevin wanted the four men behind him with Wolfgang included to witness what happened to those who might harbor any thoughts of betraying him.
He wanted to instill fear into their hearts so they would acknowledge the fact that he wasn't someone who was afraid of the current King of the underground world.
Although, Kevin was hoping that he hadn't taken it too far. After all, he needed these guys alive in the long run.
Meanwhile, Wolfgang watched in awe from behind Kevin and couldn't help noticing the smirk on Kevin's face as he tortured the gangsters.
Now he understood why Kevin had been confident in his ability to take down Brian Stark on his own.
But with what he was seeing in front of him, Wolfgang was conflicted about standing behind a man, or rather, a g.o.d.
And a g.o.d of death to be exact.
Well, that's if one ever existed.
Once Kevin was done, he deactivated his skill and every single one of the gang members plopped to the ground in defeat.
Some were unconscious, still thinking that the brutality had yet to subside while others had their eyes dilated with terror as the scenery of them getting eaten, replayed in their minds over and over again.
One might wonder whether Kevin had to do all this, but this act was just a friendly reminder to help them realize who they were dealing with.
Kevin would need them later, their knowledge of the underground world would prove extremely valuable in the long run. But, in order for Kevin to avoid a scenario where he would be betrayed by one of these men, he had to take the risk of bringing them to the brink of death over and over again, while hoping it won't screw with their brains too much.
After noticing that most of them were unconscious, he turned towards Wolfgang who was still lost in thought.

"I need you to do something for me," Kevin's voice was stern and firm.
"A-anything boss."
"I heard that there are agents involved in selling these drugs, right?"
Wolfgang nodded in response.
"I'll need you to bring me one of them."
"It will be quite difficult, Boss. Those guys rarely have time to rest themselves, but I'll see what me and the guys can do."
"Just send me the address of one of them and I'll handle the rest from there."
Wolfgang nodded, and Kevin turned towards the four men behind Wolfgang.
"Wake up your men and let them know that you're in charge now."
"But all of you are directly under Wolfgang."
"If there's something you want me to know, relay your message to Wolfgang and he'll inform me."
The four of them nodded in understanding.
They were now the new bosses of their gang, but all the gangs belonged to a single leader now, Kevin, with Wolfgang as his right-hand man.
In the Underground World, power, riches and influence were essential if one hoped to be at the top of the hierarchy, but after what they witnessed and experienced today, there was no doubt that Kevin was going to be a feared and respected individual in their world.
Many would kill to be in his gang in the future, but now that Kevin had chosen this group of men as his goons, their hearts were set on making him proud to have chosen them as his lackeys.
This was because since they had been acknowledged by Kevin, they could strut around the Underground while knowing that they were working under a big shot like Kevin.
