My Fiancée’s luck in the lottery is terrible, and so is mine.

TL: lime

ED: Spynine01

It seems like we’re changing seats just as sensei had declared yesterday.

Today’s afternoon class is LHR.

She said she would use the extra time available to change the seats, so Minami-sensei put out a box with a homemade lottery on the table.

“Well then…What should I do …”

Sensei was slightly troubled and called out to Aizawa-kun, who was sitting at the front of the hallway, and to Shiori, who was sitting at the back by the window.

“Aizawa-kun and Nanasegawa-san will play rock-paper-scissors, and we’ll start with the order of victory. If Aizawa-kun wins, we’ll start from the hallway, and if Nanasegawa-san wins, we’ll start from the window.”

So that’s how the exhibition match to decide the order of the seat-changes suddenly began.

It’s only probability, but it’s still probability in the end. Whether you draw first or second, the numerical value of the probability would remain the same.

However, the psychological problem of humans will change. After all, it is more profitable to draw first than to draw later.

There is a saying, “There is good fortune in leftovers” and at the same time, there is a saying, “The first to draw wins the race”.

Well, I’m in the middle, so whatever.

Despite my indifferent attitude, the classroom was softly abuzz with excitement.

And while the player, Shiori, looked unenthusiastic and expressionless, Aizawa-kun seemed to be somewhat happy.

“Yes~. I’m coming. Saisho wa guu~ (TL: it means “Beginning with rock” tbh saying it in english feels off)”

Sensei took charge, like a referee in a martial arts tournament, and they both gave a guu as their first greeting. (TL: Guu=rock )

“Aizawa~! Win~!”

“Nanasegawa-san. Good luck~!”

Each follower shouted out, and the first round of attention was on.

“――Pon!”

Sensei’s dumb line echoes through the classroom, contrary to her passionate words.

They both show each other their heartfelt fists, and the first round ends in a draw.

“Aizawa~. Go for paper~!”

“Nanasegawa-san, scissor~! Scissor~”

(TL: Paa=Paper, Choki=Scissor)

The followers played psychological warfare with their opponents for a second.

“Yes~ I’ll go with――.”

In contrast to the expressionless Shiori, Aizawa-kun’s mouth loosened up as he stared at the cold-hearted,merciless angel.

“――Sho!”

They both played scissors, and had a draw again.

“Deyufufu!”

Aizawa-kun had reached his limit and started laughing.

He has a habit of laughing a lot.

“Aizawa, stop smirking~!

“You’re grossing me out~!”

“Nanasegawa-san, destroy Aizawa~!

At this point, Aizawa’s followers – the people in the hallway seats – moved over to Shiori’s side.

You can’t help but feel deflated when you see him laughing like that.

It’s the third round of a man who has no allies versus an angel who has the whole class on her side.

Aizawa-kun shakes his fist once again with a lot of energy, as if to say that even with zero followers, he still won’t lose.

Shiori, on the other hand, showed a scissor like, “Yay~ I gained the favor of the whole class.”

“Oii. Aizawa~, read the atmosphere~!”

“This is where you’re supposed to lose~.”

“Give it to Nanasegawa-san~!”

Even though he won, the guys in the hallway said to him, “He’s the man with zero followers.”

In the midst of these wild jokes, Aizawa raised his fist to the sky and went to draw the lottery at once, screaming, “Yeah!”

What a strong spirit he has. Isn’t he a true man after all――.

The heated rock-paper-scissors tournament came to an end, followed by the big lottery draw.

In this tournament, I was about to be distracted by my luck in the lottery.

It’s as if I’m making up for the stigma of the previous seat change. In other words, I’ve got the best seat in the house.

The seat in front of the last one, the one right besides the window.

In the back of the room, you have to gather up the prints, but in this seat, you don’t have to do such troublesome things. It is a very good seat.

Moreover――.

“Good for you, Kojiro.”

Diagonally behind me, Touma is busy adjusting his glasses. I don’t know if he meant  “because you’re sitting in the same row as me” or if he meant something else…

And in front of him is――。.

“You’ve got a lot of luck today.”

Next to me, the angel of charity and elegance waved at me with an affectionate smile, so I waved back, saying, “That’s right.”

Furthermore, right behind me is――.

“――What?”

There was an expressionless cold-hearted, merciless angel sitting there with her headphones around her neck, looking all majestic.

“But, that’s amazing. Two times in a row you’ve been sitting in the last row beside the window.”

“Of course, it’s me after all.”

“I’m sorry. I don’t understand what you mean by that.”

As for me, I’m grateful that Touma’s around me. He’s the most talkative among my classmates.

And there are two angels near me as well, one sitting right next to me and another sitting behind me. I think that my luck with lottery tickets is the strongest currently…

[ED: Minor post-chapter note but we noticed the title and what happens in the chapter aren’t exactly the same. What the TL thinks the title means is that Kojiro’s luck is bad but he still somehow managed to get the best seat in the lottery.]
