It was a bright Saturday morning as the sun shone brightly into the room through the glass window.

The time displayed on the wall clock was 8:30 AM but the goalkeeper was still fast asleep on the bed with Emma's hands wrapped around him.

He should be coming back from his run or his gym by now on a normal day but he had to stay up late last night because of Emma and this was the result.

The clock kept moving until it hit 8:37 AM and that was when the goalkeeper moved a little before he opened his eyes.

He quickly reached for his phone as soon as he opened his eyes to see that the time was 8:37 PM.

'Oh, I overslept.' He said subconsciously.

'Yeah.' He replied before turning his gaze to Emma who slowly opened her eyes at that exact time to meet his gaze.

"Hey, good morning." She said with a bright smile on her face.

"Good morning, sunshine." The goalkeeper said.

"Sunshine?" She said with a blush before she was pulled closer by him.

"Yeah, you're my sunshine." He said before staring deep into her bright blue eyes.

After holding her gaze there for quite a while, her eyes became a little shaky before she slowly brought her gaze down.

"What's wrong?" Dave asked.

"Um…I'm sorry about all the things I said to you last night." She said with her gaze still down.

"That's nothing to worry about," Dave said before forcing up her gaze again. "I know you didn't mean any of those."

"Well, I think I meant a couple of them." She said,

"A couple of them?"

"Yeah." She replied with a nod.

"Oh, I don't think I want to know which ones they are." He said.

"No, you don't." She said before shaking her head.

"I see." The goalkeeper said before pulling her closer for a kiss. "Don't worry about it, still, let's go downstairs and get things ready."

He pulled the blanket off his body before he made his way to his wardrobe to pick some clothes.

Emma also made her way to the wardrobe and instead of picking something from her side, she decided to pick a certain oversized shirt that didn't belong to her although she was quite familiar with it.

"You want to put that on?" Dave said.

"Yeah." She said as she slowly put on the shirt. "It's gotten a little smaller but it's okay."

"Clothes don't get smaller, Emma, you just got bigger." He said.

"At least you understood what I meant." She said before she shifted her hair back and tied it with the rubber band she had on her wrist.

The shirt wasn't that big on her body now but it was good enough to cover her body all the way to her thighs.

"Let's go." She said before she began to make her way out of the room.

Dave watched her until she was out of the room before he turned back to the wardrobe and picked one of his casual sports trousers and a casual red shirt to go with it.

He quickly put the clothes on before he made his way out of the room, he was about to head downstairs when he heard the door to the bathroom.

"I was expecting you to be downstairs by now." He said after seeing Emma walk out of the room.

"Yeah, I was on my way downstairs but I had to go…." Before she could finish that sentence, she felt something rushing up again and quickly covered her mouth with her hands before quickly rushing back into the bathroom.

"Great, the nausea is back," Dave mumbled before stepping closer to the bathroom's entrance.

"Just go on without me, I'll be out in a couple of minutes." She said with a feeble voice.

"Are you okay in there?" The goalkeeper asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay, it's nothing to worry about." She said.

"You know, you can go to bed and rest of you're not feeling that okay." He said.

"Don't worry, Dave, I'm okay, I'll be out in a second." She said,

"Okay." The goalkeeper said with his gaze still on the door.

He was sure that she wasn't okay, but he had to go downstairs.

"Now, where to start?" He said as he scanned the area from the top of the staircase.

'Yeah, that's where I should start.'
