The stone was asking permission of its master to absorb the energy of the fallen stones. The loyal stone after witnessing that the master has no concerns for the beast stones, it wanted to absorb the aura and the energy from them. Qiao thought for a while and nodded giving permission.
The stone shook bright and leapt to absorb the energy. Without the permission of the master, the stone would not be able to do this in the inactive condition so to fulfill absorption; the stone needed the favor of the master to keep it active.
Qiao had had built strong trust with this specific stone because on several occasions the stone bet its overall strength to save him. The stone absorbed the beast energy and the streaks of various lines slowly turned pink and green. Qiao was amazed to see this and the color combination was something new for him.
The stone returned satisfied. Qiao deactivated it.
In the next island Qiao did not bat his eyes on the fallen stones. But to see so many stones giving brightness forced him to sweep them all. He was not greedy instead wanted to use them for weapon if he could customize one depending on his efforts.
The town's people were happy that this migration did not bring trouble for them. Two hunters from the Nest were sent to check the situation. They returned after witnessing single hunter turning the good day of the beasts into worst day.
The migration entered in the last island at the fifth day. These five days exhausted the team members. None of them rested be it day migration or the night when the monsters no more travel. They could travel but prioritize rest. "How cruel is this hunter? I wonder if I am still normal hunter to remain awake on my toes ends during mission days.
