Chapter 19: Overestimation
"Mom, you overestimate your System too much," Han Li suddenly said, his hands gently placed around her waist.
Breaking out of her still-sleepy thoughts, she asked, "What do you mean?"
She had always seen the system as a God that can achieve all her wishes as long as she paid a price. He had just come to know of the system, so why was he saying this all of a sudden?
Han Li sighed. "It literally says Luck-Trade, and that is what it is...Luck Trade, it is in a sense a universal shop with all kinds of magical resources of the world there that we could trade for with our fortune that appears in assets."
Yue Li was even more confused: "...But that doesn't make any sense though?"
Han Li smiled slightly, and asked, "Why?"
"I wished for a Home and everyone in the outer circle got one built for us, it is not a magical resource as you say, it is just a normal house."
"House Building Seed, a unique seed – a magical resource – that grows inside an artificial fruit, you requested for the house and the seed fell into the starlight clan's mud. Houses were about to grow in abundance, so the higher-ups decided to give everyone houses."
"Ah, no wonder all parts of the House are in wood and we had to add the other stuff in!" Yue Li muttered in disbelief.

She understood most of what he said too.
'So I had been thinking of the System as a god that can make all my wishes come true, but I was just trading with resources that could help achieve my wishes...'

Yue Li's head almost steamed due to all the thinking, but she asked, "So in the end, if I trade One type of thing, I get the same type of thing in return?"
"Exactly! In the current situation of our assets; if we trade away our house, it won't get us anything anymore as it is just considered as normal wood now, it can at maximum buy us a nice smelling incense Magical resource. It doesn't count for much of an asset."

She looked at his serious face, there was no way she would believe him...
Han Li chuckled. "I would love to tell you, but not now, okay? I will tell you now if you really want to know, but you have to let me touch you there as much as I want."
"No way you little scoundrel." Yue Li harrumphed gently.
Anyway, he had always been much smarter than her... He should have just figured it out somehow and was probably trying to take advantage of the situation.
She won't fall for his tricks in this matter!
They were walking on dangerous edges earlier itself, and that was her limit.
Han Li smiled and fell into his thoughts, that system had a way to be used, and he was well prepared to do that.
What to trade to get what and how to reach his previous peak as quickly as possible... he had a good idea of what to do.
