Ch. 39(1)

Chen Mo slowly stripped off Miao Yuan’s clothes layer by layer. His eyes were focused, taking slow, deep breaths. He treated her delicately with much care as if she were a fragile porcelain. He continued until the shimmering skin was exposed under the light, undulating small ripples.

Miao Yuan clenched her fist so hard that even her nails were embedded in the flesh. She was torn between resistance and obedience, and only a cloud of horrified panic remained in her eyes. When he pulled over the quilt to cover their naked bodies, bare skin gently rubbing against the fabric, he had the illusion of their bodies melting into one, the warmth in his arms beating like another heart. She tensed up, tears pooled in her eyes.

He hugged her tightly and said softly, “Don’t be afraid, no need to be scared, I won’t hurt you….”

He kissed her gently to calm her down, his lips tenderly caressing her lips and ears, while his palms were coursing over her smooth skin. She felt like she was drowning from such intense emotions and was gasping for breaths before struggling out of his arms. Panicked, she rummaged through all the things inside the bedside drawer. Finally, her hands found what she was looking for, and she quickly stuffed the item into his hand.

Chen Mo looked down at the small, hard carton in his hand, and his eyes darkened. She confusedly bit the corner of her mouth, thinking ‘You don’t know how to use it, ba?’

He threw the carton onto the bedside table and said, “I don’t need this. I promise I don’t have an illness.”

The annoyed Miao Yuan scratched his back angrily and retorted, “I also guarantee that I don’t have an illness, ok? It’s just that I would get pregnant, you know?”

“Then, give birth to a child! Give me a son. A daughter will also do.” Looking very smug, Chen Mo smiled at her, slowly revealing his snow-white teeth shining under the light.

Miao Yuan mumbled, “I think I’m Little Red Riding Hood who ran into the Big Bad Wolf.”

The Big Bad Wolf whispered in her ear, his tone shameless, arrogant, and vulgar, “Ah, you realized it only now! Too late!”

In our lives, we have had many experiences where we could never rely on words and images to simulate our imagination. Only when the real feeling is wrapped around one’s body, can one truly feel it. It was… like this.

Her hands hung onto his shoulders. Short of breath, while frowning, she went close to his ear and said, “I heard people say it will hurt.”

He turned his head to look straight into her timid eyes. He tried to restrain the urge of desire and said, “I will definitely be very gentle.”

At his reassurance, she slowly closed her eyes and hugged him a little tighter. Underneath the soft palms was his muscular and strong body. This man had enough strength to tear her apart, but she stubbornly believed he would treat her with great tenderness.

Chen Mo stared at her expression. She was frightened and shy; her brows were knitted a little with a determined look. Yet, the stiff and taut body gradually softened and relaxed under him. He could even hear the clamor of his hot blood rushing into his brain as if he were in the battlefield of Jingo, amidst the smoke and the sound of horses neighing. His beloved woman was opening her body beneath him to welcome his ingress, where he would put his seed inside her and accompany her when she gave birth to his child. She was his future wife, the mother of his children.

His emotions were so stirred that he didn’t know what to do.

His palm lingered on her hot body, unable to let go of even an inch as the smooth skin that had the touch of silk was enticing him. She turned her head to kiss the corner of his mouth. But her lips were captured, and the light kiss that felt neither close nor distant turned into a fiery hook.

He felt his mind drifting away as her delicate panting flowed into his ears like an aphrodisiac. All of his five senses became busy and focused on only one thing—her, her sound, her taste, her touch, and her breath, over and over again. It was still not enough! He pulled her body deeper into his arms as if he wanted to knead her with force.

Miao Yuan’s tiny skeleton was wrapped in smooth and soft skin. The blood-red color of burning passion oozed evenly from the depths of her skin, making her look like a bright red berry full of sweet nectar. The irresistible absolute power imprisoned her body as it was getting harder to breathe. She vaguely thought, ‘You’re going to squeeze me to death.’

Suddenly, a distinct, sharp feeling spread through her waist. She stiffened instinctively and couldn’t help but scream out.

The scream instantly awakened Chen Mo. He looked up to see her big glistening eyes, partially open lips, moans stuck in her throat. She looked like a cat whose neck had just been snapped, still tense from the initial sharp pain and unable to return to her godly appearance.

“What’s wrong?” The desire in his eyes quickly faded away. He was about to lose his head out of fear like a child who had done something bad.

Miao Yuan finally managed to be able to breathe. Her eyebrows painfully wrinkled into a ball as she said, “Waist… my waist…”

Chen Mo removed the quilt and turned on the dim desk lamp only to see the dark red fingerprints on the snow-white skin. His brain rumbled at that sight. He was very ashamed, unable to show his face to the point of wanting to give himself a slap.

“Does it hurt?” At a loss for what to do, he just held her like a fragile egg. He lowered his head to kiss the side of her waist. Her skin was swollen, and the tip of his tongue could feel the bumps there.

Miao Yuan bit the corner of her mouth and said, “It’s okay! It doesn’t hurt.” But her large tears didn’t stop rolling down.

This vexed him. He carefully kissed the red, swollen skin and said, “I really didn’t use force.”

She replied, “Oh, I know.” Her voice was weak and breathless.

He then asked, “Do you have safflower oil at home?”

She shook her head. She never had to prepare for such things before as bruises and injuries had nothing to do with her. All this made him even more guilty.

She tried to comfort the flustered and helpless culprit as she stroked his sweaty hair. She reiterated that it was okay and it didn’t hurt anymore while he sulkily hugged her and carefully kissed her skin to ease the body that his rude recklessness had just hurt.

How fragile! The wrists… so soft that a pinch can break it; a waist… so thin that a hand can close around it; and the skin… so fragile that just a little force from the fingertips can redden it.

When he saw Miao Yuan holding back the pain and saying it was okay with tears filled in her eyes, he suddenly felt that he was really not human.
